Job Title: REGULAR CUSTODIAN
Reports to: LEAD CUSTODIAN
JOB SUMMARY:
Performs and oversees all custodians in the building and their daily cleaning duties for the purpose of maintaining an attractive, sanitary, and safe facility. These areas include but are not limited to offices, classrooms, corridors, lobbies, libraries, cafeterias, gymnasiums, auditoriums and restrooms. Provides adequate arrangements and set ups for meetings and activities while minimizing property damage, equipment supply loss, and/or liability exposures. Project work including but not limited to floor maintenance, carpet cleaning and window cleaning are required. Regularly communicates with Administration and the Custodial Manager regarding issues of operational need. Actively participates in complying with established ARAMARK and McKinney I.S.D. policies and procedures. Travel to and from business related functions may be required (typically less than 10% and/or for training purposes) during the positions shift. Overtime may be required as part of this jobs responsibilities.

Preferred Education/Certification or equal in experience: NONE
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to shampoo carpets and strip and refinish hard-surface floors. Ability utilize or learn all associated equipment in performing duties.

EQUIPMENT USED
Ladders, lifts, power washer, various dollies, back pack vacuums, upright vacuums, walk behind vacuums, auto floor scrubbers, extractors, rotos, carts, and wet vacuums.

Mental Demands/ Physical Demands/Environmental Factors: Climb ladder, strenuous walking, standing, constant bending, reaching, carrying, pushing, pulling, exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, exerting 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, exerting 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for light work.
