Finally, you’ve got a great attitude and embrace working in a cross-partisan organization.  What You'll Be Doing RepresentUs is seeking a part-time (20-30 hour/week) temporary (6-month) Office Manager to support office administration & management, as well as other key functions of the Operations Team. This position mostly operates out of our Florence, MA headquarters and allows for some work from home flexibility during COVID-19 for safety. Under the direction of the Operations Department’s Deputy Chief of Staff, the Office Manager: Maintains Operations Department processes, systems, and structures, including routine internal meetings, team calendar, documents, and systems needed for optimal functioning of the Department Performs general office and administrative tasks, such as setting up for meetings, taking staff meeting minutes, fielding phone calls, managing shared office calendars, and handling incoming and outgoing mail Ensures the office common areas and supplies are kept tidy Actively monitors inventory of office supplies, outreach materials, and pantry, restocking as needed Maintains ongoing relationships with landlord and vendors for weekly trash and recycling pickup, cleaning, copier support, and other office upkeep needs Provides administrative support to the Operations team, including but not limited to data entry, pulling reports, formatting spreadsheets, and copyediting Books travel and accommodations for staff travel Provides additional support company wide, as needed, including events planning logistics and support Skills Demonstrated ability to conduct routine and daily activities with utmost professionalism and integrity. About Unrig Unrig Summit is the premier right-left summit to solve America’s political crisis. It’s the brightest minds from the right and left working together to unrig our broken system. About the Role Under the direction of the President & Co-founder , the Democracy Summit Project Manager will lead the 2021 Summit. This role is responsible for guiding the event from ideation to execution and managing the events team made up of consultants and RepresentUs staff.  Location is flexible, and we currently allow staff to work from home during COVID-19 for safety. This position is a full-time temporary role ending November 30, 2021. What You’ll Be Doing Manage Summit staff and consultant event team; recruit, hire, and train additional team members as needed . Oversee the work of the event team, including assigning tasks, supervising work, and ensuring deliverables and deadlines are met.  Design and implement team operating processes, project management systems, and project timelines. Manage the Summit budget and work within budget constraints. Stay up to date on convening best practices and implement learnings for the summit. Ensure that Summit is aligned with the organization’s diversity, equity, and inclusion objectives and that it is a diverse, equitable, and inclusive event. Maintain alignment between Summit and organizational goals and democracy reform movement needs. Serve as event lead with consultants on the ground in the lead up to and during the event. Support and fully understand all facets of the event from start to finish. Skills and Experience 5 or more years experience in large-scale project management and conference or event planning. You are a leader accustomed to managing, training, and motivating teams (often temporary and local to event locations) under pressure to meet goals and deadlines. You are known as a top performer among event planners with experience in both large-scale projects and people management. You are just as savvy at securing bespoke, VIP services as you are at negotiating price and controlling costs. Every process you touch becomes twice as efficient-- you have excellent organizational, system building, evaluation, and written and verbal communication skills.  You’re a strategic thinker who simultaneously sees the big picture and maintains sharp attention to detail. RepresentUs is hiring a full-time Campaign Advisor with a winning track record in politics who will guide several priority election reform campaigns to victory through 2024. The Advisor develops and maintains relationships with state campaigns and serves as a liaison with funders to ensure state campaigns are built for success, supported to win, and adhering to benchmarking goals tied to stages of funding.  The ideal candidate has at least one or more cycles of experience managing winning statewide ballot initiative campaigns and/or has worked in a multi-client or multi-state advisory role with various types of campaigns. Alternatively, candidates should have at least one cycle managing (and winning ideally) candidate/electoral, legislative lobbying, or issue advocacy campaigns at the local, state or national level. Passion for RepresentUs’ mission to make America work for everyone, not just the powerful and well-connected, is essential. Commitment to working beyond partisanship is required, and past experience working with bipartisan or cross-partisan coalitions is preferred. Knowledge of policy solutions to fight corruption, get big money out of politics, end gerrymandering, and give voters more voice and more choice is a plus.  Reporting to the Political Director of the Campaign Accelerator , the Advisor will: Conceptualize and refine the most impactful and cost-effective strategies to position a successful campaign, while overseeing the creation and implementation of tailored assets and services necessary to win Cultivate relationships with key in-state partners and organizations, providing them with analysis, ideas, support, and other guidance Develop and advise on tactical, strategic, and communications plans for target campaigns Work closely with the RepresentUs Campaign Accelerator staff to ensure the support of state campaigns Oversee and provide quality control for campaign budgets and liaise with campaign funders Participate in strategic planning discussions to assess and advance national, state, and local strategy Track and report on key campaign metrics to internal and external stakeholders Skills and Experience Campaign management experience is required. RepresentUs is hiring a national campaign manager to oversee anti-gerrymandering campaigns in 6-10 states across the country throughout 2021. The 2021 state campaigns will educate the public on the redistricting process, provide opportunities for citizen voices to participate in the debate, and — most importantly — boldly hold legislators accountable to create the fairest maps possible.  This is a full-time, temporary position (likely through the end of 2021), with the possibility of extension after the campaigns wrap up. The ideal candidate has significant experience leading political advocacy, issue-based campaigns, and/or candidate campaigns at either the state or federal level. About The Role  Under the direction of the National Mobilization Director, the Member Engagement Manager will lead our national member email and SMS programs, activating our membership and keeping them engaged to help campaigns win.  This role is responsible for overseeing RepresentUs’ overall email program and SMS organizing strategy to activate new audiences and deepen their engagement with the movement. In this role, the organizer will manage the organization's email and SMS programs to tell the story of our movement, bring new and existing supporters up a ladder of engagement, and retain existing supporters.  Location is flexible, and we currently allow staff to work from home during COVID-19 for safety. What You’ll Be Doing - Directing RepresentUs’ overall email and SMS strategy, working in conjunction with the National Mobilization Director to set and define goals for the email and SMS programs. - Managing the email and SMS calendars, making sure emails and texts are drafted, sent, tested, and results are recorded. - Writing advocacy, informational, and fundraising emails for hundreds of thousands of supporters and ensuring they get sent to the correct audiences without mistakes.  - Designing and testing automated messaging series (welcome series, re-engagement messaging) to move members up the ladder of engagement. - Drafting, loading, segmenting and checklisting SMS messages. - Coordinating with stakeholders across the organization to support the mobilization and recruitment of volunteers and donors across the country; - Monitoring and improving email deliverability to ensure our messaging is delivered; - Developing and tracking metrics to measure programs effectiveness; - Ensuring content on all email and landing pages is up to date and relevant; - Owning the email and SMS CRM and platform within the national program. - Executing other responsibilities and tasks as needed. Skills and Experience - Demonstrated digital organizing experience;   - Experience managing an email and SMS program on a political campaign or organization with at least 100,000 list members; - Excellent writing skills: You can craft emotionally-compelling copy about wonky issues and spark action; - Strong proficiency with email CRMs and platforms like ActionKit; - Strong proficiency with texting tools such as Spoke, Hustle, ThruText, Mobile Commons or other SMS tools; - Knowledge and experience building automated messaging series and segmenting audiences;  - Ability to analyze data and use your results to inform future messaging strategies;  - Commitment to working beyond partisanship is required.
