The Director of Development Partnerships joins an extremely skilled, hard-working and growing development team, which is building the budget, power, and effectiveness of our family of organizations. This position is responsible for raising funds from individual and small foundation donors at four-, five-, and six-figure levels. Responsibilities include strategically identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding donors. The Director of Development Partnerships will cultivate and solicit donors on their own and support the work of key senior staff and board members in their respective regions. Qualified candidates will have significant experience with methods and approaches to major gifts fundraising that encourages philanthropic involvement among communities of color.
Responsibilities:
Manage and develop a portfolio of up to 120 current, lapsed and prospective donors across the region, deepening relationships in person or virtually, over the phone, and in writing.
Work with the Director of Prospect Research and Portfolio Management to expand the Major Gifts portfolio of prospective donors to include more people of color; broaden our current methods of identifying, cultivating and soliciting such donors.
Educate our current and prospective donors about the racial justice and equity work that is central and core to all the work we do at LCV to confront the inextricably linked climate and democracy crises.
Hold at least 85 visits annually with donors and prospects in the region, renewing and upgrading gifts from current donors and soliciting gifts from new donors. Varying degrees of coordination and collaboration with state affiliates in the region is required. To that end, the Director must be oriented toward and motivated by nurturing and growing these relationships.
Develop and support cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies for LCV’s President and other key staff and board members.
Recruit donors and prospects to a variety of LCV fundraising and cultivation events, playing a key role in meeting the event and engagement objectives and key results for the Major Gifts team.
Contribute to organizational and department efforts to infuse racial justice and equity into all aspects of our work, including our fundraising as well as service on committees or working groups.
Write persuasive and personalized emails, letters and proposals to donors and prospects including in depth descriptions of our programs and role in environmental advocacy and politics, ensuring racial justice and equity is centered in our messaging.
Participate in high-level planning to help set both fundraising and programmatic goals.

Position:
The Operations Coordinator is a full-time position, working directly with the Director of New Orleans Programming to enhance Generation Hope’s internal and external effectiveness in the New Orleans area. The Operations Coordinator serves as a point of contact for the organization in the New Orleans area and is responsible for providing outstanding customer service, being an enthusiastic professional, and building relationships with stakeholders. LCVEF is hiring a Vice President of Civic Engagement who will lead year-round civic engagement strategy, managing staff, and democracy and civic engagement programs, including voter contact, integrated voter engagement, managing data, sharing tactics and strategies for relational organizing, while leading partnership and coalition management to advance voter protection and combat voter suppression nationally and with our state partners. This role will be focused on building power with a grassroots base that can urge decision-makers to take unprecedented bold action to confront climate change, working closely with the organizing teams of our 30+ state affiliates, collectively called the Conservation Voters Movement (CVM) in protecting our communities and environment and defending our democracy. Responsibilities:

Support the Director of Civic Engagement in the planning and execution of a multi-state site-based voter registration program, including managing a complex mix of relationships with state affiliates, other LCVEF staff and leadership, funders, organizational partners and state 501(c)(3) tables.

Position summary
Resolution seeks to hire a Director of Development (“Director”) as a frontline fundraiser, department head, and key member of the leadership team. The Director will provide clear vision, leadership, and direction on effective strategies for meeting Resolution’s annual revenue goals ($3.4MM) and growing its revenue potential to support greater impact for years to come. This individual will work closely with the CEO to design fundraising approaches and deploy the CEO and Board for maximum effectiveness. The Director will manage a portfolio of existing corporate and foundation relationships; and identify, cultivate, solicit and steward new individual, foundation and corporate donors. This individual will also oversee existing department systems, staff, and practices to direct scaling efforts. Resolution has a strong Board and Advisory Board in place with whom the Director will partner to cultivate, solicit, and steward donors. The Director will partner with an events consultant, staff, and volunteers to plan, execute, and grow two major annual fundraising events, two large annual campaigns, as well as several smaller events throughout the year. The Director will also work with volunteer leadership to support various fundraising activities for the broader volunteer community. The Director will lead a department including an Assistant Director of Communications, Senior Community Engagement Associate, Development Coordinator, and soon-to-be hired Development Associate, and will be responsible for directly managing 2-3 of these individuals.

Direct Fundraising

Proactively develop goals, strategies, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship plans for each donor, ensuring that each one receives frequent personalized engagement, with the support of the rest of the development team.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate has at least 7 years of demonstrated fundraising experience and success with progressively increasing responsibility.

Position summary
Resolution seeks to hire a Director of Development (“Director”) as a frontline fundraiser, department head, and key member of the leadership team. The Director will provide clear vision, leadership, and direction on effective strategies for meeting Resolution’s annual revenue goals ($3.4MM) and growing its revenue potential to support greater impact for years to come. This individual will work closely with the CEO to design fundraising approaches and deploy the CEO and Board for maximum effectiveness. The Director will manage a portfolio of existing corporate and foundation relationships; and identify, cultivate, solicit and steward new individual, foundation and corporate donors. This individual will also oversee existing department systems, staff, and practices to direct scaling efforts. Resolution has a strong Board and Advisory Board in place with whom the Director will partner to cultivate, solicit, and steward donors. The Director will partner with an events consultant, staff, and volunteers to plan, execute, and grow two major annual fundraising events, two large annual campaigns, as well as several smaller events throughout the year. The Director will also work with volunteer leadership to support various fundraising activities for the broader volunteer community. The Director will lead a department including an Assistant Director of Communications, Senior Community Engagement Associate, Development Coordinator, and soon-to-be hired Development Associate, and will be responsible for directly managing 2-3 of these individuals.

Fundraising Strategy
Work with the CEO to design, execute, manage, and evaluate a comprehensive fundraising strategy that allows the organization to grow and increase our impact.
Develop and deepen relationships with foundation and corporate prospects and partners, and expand Resolution’s network of individual donors.
Grow a scalable, renewable major gifts program.
Design, execute, and assess giving campaigns and donor appeals.
Oversee all fundraising communications strategy for the organization, serving as a thought partner to the Assistant Director of Communications and CEO.
Direct Fundraising
Manage and expand a portfolio of individual donors and prospects with the capacity to make major gifts, leading face-to-face solicitations and other direct engagement, and deploying the CEO to participate in or lead solicitations where appropriate.
Proactively develop goals, strategies, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship plans for each donor, ensuring that each one receives frequent personalized engagement, with the support of the rest of the development team.
Oversee messaging, talking points, proposals, and materials for development activity created by the development and communications team.
Supervise staff members conducting prospect research, donor outreach, Salesforce data management, and creation of fundraising activity reports.
Secure and steward event sponsors.
Leadership
Manage, mentor, and support all Development & Communications staff.
Provide goals and projections to inform the annual budgeting process.
Attend board meetings and work with board members to assist with fundraising objectives.
Represent Resolution at relevant conferences, workshops and meetings.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate has at least 7 years of demonstrated fundraising experience and success with progressively increasing responsibility.
Experience building and growing a major and HNWI donor program with demonstrated success in revenue growth

Strong network within the philanthropic community

Collaborate with central office staff, building administrators, and department heads to evaluate existing programs, services, and practices, using an anti-racist lens;
Provide leadership in using disaggregated data to make informed decisions about decolonized curriculum, culturally responsive instruction and equity-based programs, assisting staff in making connections between the disaggregated data and the bigger equity picture;
Establish clear and consistent two-way communication with parents, families, and community partners to analyze the effectiveness of our schools and resolve concerns;
