Work with CORJE to plan and schedule racial justice and equity trainings for all staff.
Collaborate with CORJE to craft and finalize organization-wide documents – including evaluation reports, guidance, and policies – designed to further LCV’s RJE values and goals.

Our goal is to help restore ecosystem function, economic productivity, livelihoods and hope. Our goal is to help restore ecosystem function, economic productivity, livelihoods and hope. The Facilities Department oversees the WRI Global office in Washington, DC, ensuring that the building is operating in an efficient manner. Facilities has a wide range of responsibilities, such as assigning Datawatch cards, responding to repair requests, ordering furniture and office supplies, responding to requests for temporary office space needs for new employees and interns, and assisting with mailing and packaging needs.

About the Program:
The Facilities Department oversees the WRI Global office in Washington, DC, ensuring that the building is operating in an efficient manner. Facilities has a wide range of responsibilities, such as assigning Datawatch cards, responding to repair requests, ordering furniture and office supplies, responding to requests for temporary office space needs for new employees and interns, and assisting with mailing and packaging needs.

What you will do:
Facilities Support (95%)

Maintain supply room including ordering general supplies (notebooks, pens, etc.)
Train staff on use of copiers and printers and maintain well-organized space in the mail/supply room/ and all print stations
Ensure that WRI DC office is maintained well and is appealing to staff and visitors. Notify Facilities Supervisor and Global Facilities Manager of any needed repairs.
Process facility requests through the Cushman Wakefield APA Portal Requests for HVAC, misc. cleaning/vacuuming, etc. Follow up that problem was solved
Train staff on how to process outgoing domestic and international mail (USPS, FedEx, DHL, and UPS shipments) via XPS and NeoPost postage machine. Will process incoming mail and troubleshoot the postage machine. Order mailing supplies for various mail and delivery vendors and the postage machine (e.g., USPS, Federal Express and UPS)
Notify staff of incoming mail/packages. Forward any relevant mail electronically, as needed, for remote employees
Backup Administrator of the iOffice facilities software, working closely along with the Facilities Supervisor
Train staff on how to use iOffice. Keep the training documents up to date, along with any other communications
Back up Facilities Supervisor in processing invoices in Office 365 (WRI Payment Processing). Learning and understanding them as they are processed
Notify Facilities Supervisor of any updates needed to Banyan (WRI’s internal website) documents. Will also assist Facilities Supervisor in editing IT documents on Banyan
Process PAF for new and terminated employees

Assign security access cards (Datawatch) for all staff. Collect security cards when employees are offboarded

Develop implementation resources to help users apply the Land Sector and Removals Guidance, such as executive summaries, FAQs, communication materials, training materials, sector-specific guidance, or other resources
Help facilitate our international multi-stakeholder guidance development process, including managing email correspondence, compiling comments and feedback, preparing for and coordinating working group meetings, etc.
Review land sector-related tools, guidance and other resources (20% time)
Conduct research, literature reviews, interviews with subject-matter experts, and analysis on methodologies for quantifying GHG emissions and CO2 removals from agriculture, forestry, bioenergy, other land use, carbon capture and storage (CCS), and related topics
Co-develop land-sector related tools and sector-specific guidance through strategic partnerships to address key data and methodological gaps with existing resources
Review third party land-sector related datasets, tools and guidance for compliance with the latest scientific research and GHG Protocol standards and guidance Coordinate with programs and partners to ensure alignment on accounting and reporting approaches for GHG emissions, CO2 removals and related land sector sustainability metrics
Develop land sector-related training materials (20% time) :
Develop training materials for the GHG Protocol Land Sector and Removal Guidance to help companies and other organizations understand and apply the guidance (in collaboration with GHG Protocol training team)
Organize, coordinate, and participate in internal and external meetings, conference calls, and workshops
Assist in the preparation and dissemination of outreach materials, presentations and publications
Support Greenhouse Gas Protocol (10% time)
Coordinate with the Science Based Targets team and other programs and partners to ensure harmonization across initiatives
Draft issue briefs, blogs, or other materials as needed
Support other Greenhouse Gas Protocol projects and activities as needs arise
What will you need: Education: Bachelor’s Degree. Master’s degree preferred in environmental science/policy, ecology or a related field.
Experience: You have 6+ years full-time relevant work experience in greenhouse gas accounting, climate change mitigation, or related field. You have familiarity and knowledge of Greenhouse Gas Protocol standards, corporate GHG inventory accounting and reporting, scope 3 accounting, GHG quantification methodologies for the agriculture, forestry and other land use (AFOLU) sector, bioenergy accounting, CO2 removals accounting, life cycle assessment (LCA), and related subjects. The SVP of Development is a key leadership position that reports to the President, works closely with the Board of Directors and serves on the Executive Team. The SVP of Development will have the exciting opportunity to lead the largest department at LCV in raising over $100 Million+ annually through a combination of membership, major gifts, institutional giving, and special events fundraising.
The SVP is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction of our fundraising efforts, ensuring that we set ambitious yet achievable goals by providing leadership, vision, and evaluation of the Development department's performance, as well as managing relationships with some of our most important donors. Development Department Management
Set and drive a clear vision for the Development department that advances organization-wide strategies, goals, and change processes.
Provide leadership, strategic direction, oversight, and the efficient coordination for the development team to execute the development plan and to monitor progress toward these goals.
Lead the fundraising team's creation of a strategic vision for advancing our deep commitment to anti-racism.
Manage, develop, and retain a growing team of 40+ development professionals and actively cultivate a culture of collaboration, openness, trust, equity, inclusion, and support within the department, and in its work with other departments.
Lead the building, implementation, and adoption of systems and practices that support intra- and inter-departmental collaboration, integration, communication, and relationship building. In coordination with NRDC Action Votes & NRDC Action Fund PAC, ensure that GiveGreen, a multi-million dollar candidate fundraising program, is staffed, resourced, and set up to succeed.
In collaboration with the Executive Team, Communications Department, and other senior development staff, create unified and inclusive messages and marketing frames to motivate and inspire individual and institutional donors and prospects at all levels to support LCV and LCVEF’s missions.
Coordinate with operations and campaigns teams to boost the use of data to inform goals and priorities. Work with the development team on short-and long-term revenue forecasting for membership, mid-level and major donor (individual and institutional) programs.

Instill a culture of philanthropy throughout LCV.

Position Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required with one years’ relevant administrative work experience in a professional environment preferred.
Bilingual and able to read, write and speak Spanish and English fluently.
Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, such as managing someone else’s calendar, coordinating travel, balancing competing priorities, etc.
Ability to work quickly and accurately with a high level of professionalism, organization and collaboration required.

The Director of the Office of the President is a key partner to the President and CEO, focusing time on the highest priority strategic initiatives to advance of the Federation’s mission.
