Environmental Health Specialists (EHS) work within the section of Environmental Public Health (EPH) and are responsible for protecting the health of citizens by enforcing EPH rules and regulations, educating stakeholders, preventing exposure to environmental hazards by promoting healthy natural and built environments within Clark County. This position will be assigned basic job duties: • Design/Plan Review - the EHS will review designs and plans such as food establishment floor plans, food preparation plans, and Toolkits of various topics. Job Summary
Environmental Health Specialists (EHS) work within the section of Environmental Public Health (EPH) and are responsible for protecting the health of citizens by enforcing EPH rules and regulations, educating stakeholders, preventing exposure to environmental hazards by promoting healthy natural and built environments within Clark County. This position will be assigned basic job duties: • Design/Plan Review - the EHS will review designs and plans such as food establishment floor plans, food preparation plans, and Toolkits of various topics. This review is critical to ensure the safety of the facility or infrastructure and compliance with State and Local requirements. • Site Inspections - the EHS will ensure the site matches design and plan criteria and that operations are conducted in compliance with state and local codes. These inspections ensure processes protect the public health and prevent injury. • Complaint and Foodborne Illness Outbreak Investigation - an EHS will investigate complaints by performing records searches, site visits, interviews of complainants and gathering other pertinent information. • Enforcement of Regulation - an EHS will, when necessary, initiate enforcement when regulations are not met. The goal is to ensure compliance with public health rules. In many instances, the EHS will partner with other agencies that can improve the process or offer resources to the one with whom enforcement is being pursued. • Technical Assistance - the EHS will offer technical expertise to property owners, business owners, food workers, entrepreneurs, county departments and other stakeholders. This task can include significant research and communication. The position may be asked to work in other EPH programs as needed. Qualifications
Job Function
Resolves complaints concerning food borne illnesses by interviewing affected individuals, obtaining clinical specimens, collecting food samples, interviewing employees, tracing possible sources of contamination, consulting with state epidemiologist, evaluating findings and writing reports.
Conducts compliance inspections of schools, restaurants, grocery stores, taverns, bakeries, meat markets, weekend events, and other retail food establishments according to assigned schedule.
Records violations found during inspections, evaluate findings, discuss with owner or manager, and establish short and long-term corrective actions.
Makes follow-up evaluations and initiates enforcement procedures, if necessary.
Provides information on building requirements for new and remodeled food establishments and answers questions from the public regarding public health requirements for food service establishments.
Reviews submitted plans for food establishments and conducts pre-opening inspections to see that requirements are met.
Gives presentations to food service workers and other groups regarding the prevention of food borne illnesses and proper food handling procedures.

Position Overview
The Director, Engagement and Alumni Impact will deliver best-in-class in-person, hybrid, and virtual activations that directly engage a national network of educators to interact with the New Leaders brand, showcasing our reputation for equity and excellence, while leading with a collaborative approach that sets the standard for activations of significance and impact. The Director will analyze and track data to ensure alignment of content, optimize processes, understand patterns, and make better decisions for our alumni. The Director will understand promotional strategies to drive attendance across social and integrated media and form collaborative partnerships to seamlessly and cost-effectively integrate educators into the New Leaders Network. The Director will also be responsible for developing strong relationships and fostering collaboration with other New Leaders teams in the planning and execution of these events. Specific Responsibilities
Alumni Relations
Create ongoing and regular opportunities for community building and support between and among New Leaders and alumni, including the development of both formal and informal supports, to meet leaders where they are and are most likely to seek connection, resources, and development.
Represent the organization at various community and/or organizational meetings, committees, third-party events and conferences, and task forces to promote new and existing programs, policies, and impact data.
Facilitate ongoing professional learning and coaching sessions – including point-in-time learning, series-based workshops, seminars, leadership coaching, and lectures – designed to help educational leaders actively learn how to best address challenges and implement solutions and learn from leaders in the field.
Design and institute a process to match alumni with local mentors to provide support, networking, and guidance around career trajectories.
To increase brand awareness, create and execute the content strategy and vision for the alumni newsletter to improve overall customer perception and satisfaction with New Leaders.
Institute a cadence of regular communication to alumni to encourage participation in upcoming events, highlight opportunities, provide certifications updates and requirements, share new products and services, and celebrate successes within the Alumni community.
Manage content updates, communications and engagement across the alumni network hub, website pages, and social media pages, developing and/or culling those materials as needed.
To increase brand awareness, elevate stories of impact from the alumni audience, identifying specific alum, schools, and school systems that can serve as exemplars of our programming, and working alongside External Relations teammates to identify appropriate distribution channels for impact stories (external and internal conferences, webinars, blogs, case studies).
Design and launch a referral rewards program and alumni-only programmatic pricing to incentivize active ambassadors and direct consumers across the alumni community.

Represent the organization at various community and/or organizational meetings, committees, third-party events and conferences, and task forces to promote new and existing programs, policies, and impact data.
Facilitate ongoing professional learning and coaching sessions – including point-in-time learning, series-based workshops, seminars, leadership coaching, and lectures – designed to help educational leaders actively learn how to best address challenges and implement solutions and learn from leaders in the field.
Design and institute a process to match alumni with local mentors to provide support, networking, and guidance around career trajectories.

America Votes is seeking a highly motivated self-starter to serve as the Voting Rights Manager as a part of a team focused on voting rights in Wisconsin. This position will require flexibility, creativity, and a sense of humor. The Voting Rights Manager will play a key support role in creating program resources while assisting the Wisconsin Deputy State Director, Voting RIghts with the program and research goals. This person will be a critical part of supporting the election administration work America Votes does and be responsible for maintaining dashboards, creating reports, matrices, relationships with local election officials and activists, and legislative tracking. This person will be identifying important news stories related to election administration and municipal clerks and sharing that information with the larger team. Engagement with election officials and boards of elections, including staying up to date on county by county election preparations, capacity, anticipated changes, allocation of resources, implementation of new laws, and status of targeted advocacy requests.

Election protection efforts with partners and key stakeholders across Wisconsin, including statewide poll worker recruitment effort as needed.
Produce a weekly report on the program that may include information like program updates, weekly news clips around the election administration environment and threats to democracy.
Assist with producing products, meeting deadlines, and securing participation to meet program goals. Position Description
America Votes is seeking a highly motivated self-starter to serve as the Voting Rights Manager as a part of a team focused on voting rights in Wisconsin. This position will require flexibility, creativity, and a sense of humor. The Voting Rights Manager will play a key support role in creating program resources while assisting the Wisconsin Deputy State Director, Voting RIghts with the program and research goals. This person will be a critical part of supporting the election administration work America Votes does and be responsible for maintaining dashboards, creating reports, matrices, relationships with local election officials and activists, and legislative tracking. This person will be identifying important news stories related to election administration and municipal clerks and sharing that information with the larger team. Responsibilities
Coordinate legislative work around voting rights and election administration. Cultivate and manage a nonpartisan bank of messengers on voting issues; help coordinate and draft testimony, and train spokespeople as needed
Engagement with election officials and boards of elections, including staying up to date on county by county election preparations, capacity, anticipated changes, allocation of resources, implementation of new laws, and status of targeted advocacy requests.
Election administration implementation and compliance at the local and state level, including the implementation of new elections-related legislation.
Election protection efforts with partners and key stakeholders across Wisconsin, including statewide poll worker recruitment effort as needed.
Produce a weekly report on the program that may include information like program updates, weekly news clips around the election administration environment and threats to democracy.
Assist with producing products, meeting deadlines, and securing participation to meet program goals. Assist the Election Administration Director in collecting and organizing election administration information, creating reports, updating and maintaining Wisconsin information related to election administration, and legislative tracking.
Attend and take notes for internal and external meetings.

Generation Hope seeks a Director of Human Resources & Administration who will serve as the head of Human Resources and a key member of the Leadership Team. Develop and implement targeted recruitment strategies to ensure a robust and diverse applicant pool for all openings.

Provide onboarding services and orientation to all new staff members and ensure department and program-level orientations are standardized and compelling.
Professional Development and Performance Management

QUALIFICATIONS:

Develop and implement targeted recruitment strategies to ensure a robust and diverse applicant pool for all openings.

Provide onboarding services and orientation to all new staff members and ensure department and program-level orientations are standardized and compelling.
Professional Development and Performance Management
Train, coach, and support managers to navigate evaluation, training, promotion, discipline, termination, and other HR issues.
Collaborate with managers to update job descriptions across the agency and implement a system for regular review and revision of descriptions.
Design and implement an enhanced performance management system for employee evaluation.

Work with the Assistant Director of Growth & Strategy to ensure efficient and secure office procedures are in place at all Generation Hope sites.
Organizational Leadership
Manage the Administrative Coordinator and additionally hired team members including a DEI professional, holding team members accountable for stellar performance and upholding Generation Hope's values.
Create systems for regularly gauging the morale of the Administrative team and plan regular activities, including an annual retreat, that keep the team uplifted. The hourly range for this role is $43.27-$52.41. Salaries vary based on geographical location. Time Commitment
Have availability for engagements a minimum of five-six weekdays per month. No more than two engagements can be declined in a fiscal year.
Be able to travel nationally to deliver services on weekdays and weekends. The percentage of travel will vary depending on the assigned engagement.
Commit to and be available to complete the full scope of any assigned engagement, with the exception of authorized modifications.
Attend national, regional, and local in-person or virtual training sessions, refresher courses, and meetings when required.
Be able to conduct multiple monthly in-person sessions as needed.
The hourly range for this role is $43.27-$52.41. Salaries vary based on geographical location. After submitting an application, candidates who move forward in the hiring process are provided with the salary for their geographical location. Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible to participate in the New Leaders Health Benefits and Wellness Program, through which New Leaders offers two robust medical plan options, dental care, vision, and other benefits. New Leaders also offers a 401K plan for eligible employees and generous paid-time-off benefits. Employees may be eligible for merit awards, bonuses, and/or commissions depending on the role, organizational guidelines, and individual performance. New Leaders also has a 4 ½ day work week.
