Job Description

PeopleTec, Inc is currently seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to support our Huntsville, AL location.

Senior Systems Analyst will use STK modeling software to design and analyze Missile Defense Agency (MDA) scenarios for flight tests, simulation ground tests, and real world situations. Import and export time, position, velocity, and orientation information into and out of the tool for various types of flight vehicles including but not limited to: aircraft, missiles, and satellites.

  • Create various types of sensor representations within the model based upon MDA and threat systems technical knowledge to demonstrate instantaneous line-of-sight, full field tracking extents, and time and range to tracked objects.
  • Represent MDA assets in test scenarios and real world situations then create complex interrelationship evaluations between multiple objects and report results to other analysts and management for further analysis and/or decision-making.
  • Provide track management, interoperability system analysis support to the Joint System Engineering Team. 
  • Duties will include analyzing the outputs of integrated simulation runs to match truth objects to system tracks, composite tracks and link tracks; calculating metrics across large data sets; creating analysis scripts/programs; evaluating data/metrics for trends and anomalies. 
  • Candidate will put together briefings and reports, as well as, brief leadership at technical interchange meetings.  


Desired Skills/Required Experience:

  • 10 years of experience. An additional 5 years of experience in system analysis required.

  • Experience with Corona PET and IDT Reconstruction Tool desired.

  • Experience with analysis software such as Excel, MATLAB, Python, Visual Basic for Applications, and C/C++ to reduce and/or create data for STK simulations.

  • Collaborate with other subject matter experts to improve models or create analyses of telemetry, radar, and/or optical sensor capabilities with respect to the analysis scenarios.
  • Candidate will put together analysis plans, Model and Simulation (M&S) requirements, data management plans, and staffing plans.
  • Candidate will be "hands-on" with complex tools and simulations in a laboratory environment with minimal/nominal instruction and/or training.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • A U.S. Secret clearance is required to perform this work.  Candidates are required to have a Top Secret/SCI clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this clearance level during their employment.


Education Requirements: 

A completed Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University in Engineering, Physics, or Math with 10 years of experience. An additional 5 years of experience in system analysis required.
