The Applications Administrator is proficient technically and provides operational support to stakeholders (faculty, staff, prospects, students, and alumni) for multiple critical enterprise applications and customer-facing business administrative systems for the College. The Applications Administrator consults with Senior Applications Administrators and Management to perform complex system and/or application installations and upgrades.
Minimum Requirements
A high school diploma and work experience in the administration and management of software applications in an enterprise environment is required. An associate’s degree or a bachelor’s degree in a related field may be substituted for the required work experience. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated ability to be proficient in supporting, maintaining, and administering complex enterprise software applications preferably in higher education or a related setting.
Working knowledge of systems architecture, systems planning and design, network operating systems, and software application management.
Knowledge of, and experience with, Windows and/or Linux/Unix systems administration, light SQL experience, light scripting, and application support.
Ability to understand and carry out technical instructions in order to perform application system installations, upgrades, and integrations.
Must have experience with database technologies and/or client-server technology.
Must possess analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Strong customer service skills.
Familiarity with service management methodologies preferred.
Experience with monitoring tools and analytical tools preferred.
Familiarity with enterprise backup, storage technologies, and open source technologies a plus.
Ability to plan, organize and follow through multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficient written and verbal communications skills.
Must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other IT staff, business stakeholders, and vendors.
Additional Comments Regarding Position
Employee must be willing to work flexible hours including occasional nights, weekends and holidays and be on call 24 hours/day, 7 days/ week. Must be able to travel periodically for professional development. *Position may be eligible for full-time or part-time telecommuting

The Communication and Information Systems department is looking for an Associate Director to help manage the CIS team. While working in the CIS department, you are responsible for managing the system administration of the ERP and integration with legacy systems.
The Associate Director of Communication and Information Systems requires excellent customer relations skills and ability to manage the daily support of the college’s Ellucian Colleague ERP system and the ongoing evolution of its implementation as well as supplemental Enterprise Applications. Essential Job Functions
Important responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Provides leadership and direction in the management of a diverse portfolio of enterprise applications.
Works closely with the CIO of Communication and Information Services to ensure effective planning, strategies, and execution of key initiatives.
Provides and makes recommendations and assists in the selection of solutions to advance the technology posture.
Participates in the development, support, and enforcement of College technology policies and procedures.
Identifies enhancements for existing applications that can streamline and optimize processes.
Manages and mentors the application development and support staff while defining the appropriate organizational structure and providing technical leadership.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Applications, or a related field and three years of related work experience or; seven years of a combination of related education, training, and work experience.

Employment Status

QUALIFICATIONS
Associate’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum of two (2) years of related experience working as an Administrative Support professional reporting to senior management required.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a fast-paced environment (really fast paced!), supporting senior executives, strongly preferred.
Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office suite and other software programs and platforms such as Salesforce and Zoom.
Experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks and the ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
Must be exceedingly well organized, flexible and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting an office of diverse people and programs.

Responsible for care and management of The Ringling’s Collections. Provides oversight of the Registration and Exhibition Design/Preparation departments. Develops, interprets, and implements associated policies and procedures. Develops and monitors budgets and emergency plans. Serves on Disaster Planning and Response Team. Serves as liaison to the Collections Committee of the Board. Collaborates closely with the Conservation department to ensure the care of collections items. Oversees coordination logistics for national and international traveling exhibitions and loans. Monitors climate control; environment; and maintains objects files. Oversees collections. Monitors registration system and collections' data integrity. Oversees the Rights and Reproductions Department. Oversees installation scheduling and Exhibition Design & Preparation budget. Assists in planning and exhibition installation. Monitors gallery maintenance schedule. Contributes to education mission by supporting and/or supervising Internships and Fellowships, tours, lectures, and training. Responds to scholars' requests for information related to collections or exhibits. Regularly uses motorized vehicles in daily work. May be required to travel (nationally or internationally) to serve as a Museum courier. Assignments are based on the needs of the Museum. Courier training and certification is required prior to the incumbent serving in this capacity. Please note that this position reports to the Associate Director of Academic Affairs and Collections.
