Job Description

PeopleTec is currently seeking a VTC Coordinator to support our El Paso, TX operations. 

Under the direction of the facility's Technical Director, the Capabilities, Development and Integration (CDI) Cell's Distributed Mission Operations Air Defense Artillery (DMO-ADA) Video Teleconference (VTC) Coordinator / Facilities Security Support Technician is responsible for the scheduling and administration of DMO-ADA VTC systems. This individual schedules, initiates, monitors and closes VTC events. This individual may be required to support VTC events after hours / on weekends as necessary to support DMO ADA requirements. This individual will assist with VTC system configuration and troubleshooting. Additionally, this individual, under the direction of the Facility Security Officer, will provide auxiliary facility security support to include monitoring access and checking in / escorting visitors.


Job Functions:  

  • Schedule and de-conflict planned VTC events.

  • Configure, open and close VTC events.

  • Attend and monitor VTC events.

  • Under the direction of the DMO-ADA facilities team, monitor individual access to VTC events, escort visitors, and clear the facility upon the ending of events.

  • Must have demonstrated experience with DoD VTC systems.


Required Skills:

  • Experience operating DoD VTC equipment.

  • Experience with DoD facility security processes and standards.

  • Communicate effectively with all levels of management and maintain and establish excellent customer relations with internal and external customers.

  • Capability to work independently and self-motivate.

  • Read and understand complex technical materials and apply knowledge derived from them.

  • Demonstrate schedule flexibility and adaptability to continual changing work demands or situations.

  • Ability to adhere to common workplace rules and procedures.

  • Must have demonstrated experience with DoD VTC systems.

  • Experience working in a classified government facility.

  • Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by government standards.

  • Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, 10-key, phones)
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Travel Required: 20%
  • Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Candidate must currently have an active Secret security clearance and be able to maintain this clearance level during employment (Top Secret Preferred)


Education Requirements:

A completed Bachelor's Degree in an engineering field is required.
