RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
A. Customer service. Providing appropriate customer service
is the number one priority of the Blood Services. Appropriate
customer service can be defined as follows:
* Complete orders and other tasks accurately and in a
* Respond courteously to telephone calls. Follow through
on all requests.
* Provide prompt, friendly service.
* Prioritize requests properly.
* Pulling/packing blood orders.
* Completing invoices.
* Rotation of stock.
* Entry and verification of imported blood products.
SHIFT: Four 10 hour days (Thursday - Sunday 5pm - 3:30am)
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE
A. Education and Experience
High School diploma required; Baccalaureate degree from a 4 year college or university preferred.
Be able to lift and carry, push or pull packages weighing up to 70 lbs.
