The Office Assistant II classification is distinguished from the Office Assistant I by performance of work requiring more independent judgment; volume and complexity of guidelines used which require a greater degree of interpretation and interpolation by the incumbents; and the amount and level of material to be learned being substantially greater, thereby increasing the time required of the incumbent to learn the duties. While both the Office Assistant I and II are expected to interact with and service customer needs, the Office Assistant II is expected to respond to more varieties of situations requiring a more detailed understanding of the department processes and operations. Additionally, the Office Assistant II is distinguished from the Office Assistant III classification by the responsibility to perform less complex and comprehensive administrative support duties. A variety of moderately difficult to complex tasks are performed within generally defined procedures and are reviewed periodically for accuracy, adherence to established policies and procedures, quality and thoroughness. Work is performed under general supervision and assistance is readily available from either specialist(s) or supervisor(s). This classification is expected to function independently in daily tasks. The Office Assistant II is required to use judgment on non-routine matters. Problems are identified and solved and unusual/complex problems are referred to a supervisor or specialist. Qualifications
Education and Experience
Two years of experience, with limited task supervision, emphasizing or including intensive public contact, customer service, interpretation and explanation of regulations and involving general office work processes and use of modern office technology. In those positions requiring typing, the incumbents must, upon entry into the position, be able to type at a rate of no less than 55 words per minute. May be required to possess or obtain a valid motor vehicle operator’s license.

Day Camp Site Director General Duties: The Day Camp Site Director will be the lead for all day camp staff and assist with all activities including administrative tasks, childcare licensing site visits, health department inspections, emergency actions and other leadership tasks. Directors will also assist with guiding, supervising, and counseling in the outdoors with elementary age Girl Scouts at local nature parks in the Denver Metro area throughout the summer to help them gain invaluable experience in outdoor recreation, leadership, confidence and so much more! Activities include but are not limited to hiking, stand-up paddleboarding, canoeing, outdoor skills, archery, Girl Scout outdoor badges, teambuilding, camp games and other activities.
Please note: This role is not an overnight role and does NOT offer housing. Please see schedule below.
Summer 2024 Work Schedule: Camp sessions are Monday - Thursday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Friday's will be for staff to prepare and practice for the next week of camp.

Six semester hours in course work from a regionally accredited university; or
40 hours of training in course work applicable to school-age children.
Experience working in an outdoor program, camp, or educational setting.

Ensure all regulations are being followed at camp and fix issues that may arise.
Act as the direct contact for pick-up and drop-off for camper families.
Create programming that is exciting, progressive, skill based and inclusive of Girl Scouts of all ages, ability levels and from a variety of backgrounds.
Adapt activities and methods to individual and group needs and abilities, provide opportunities for Girl Scouts to experience variety, challenge, and progression.
Use experiential, Girl Scout-led methods of instruction, and positive group management in accordance with the outdoor program department procedures and the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.
Supervise and mentor Day Camp staff throughout the season.
Be prepared with activities for all types of weather and other changes in the planned program.

Help resolve any small conflicts with staff and parents or contact manager to assist.
Prevent accidents and injuries through maintaining safety and risk management standards:
Implement Girl Scout, State of Colorado, and American Camp Association safety standards.
Conduct ongoing site inspection for hazards and verify that equipment is in safe condition before each use and is used properly for participants.
Give first-aid care and complete required documentation of care.
Respond to emergencies as appropriate in dynamic outdoor situations.
Participate as a professional member of the GSCO staff in providing effective staff service to the Council:
Be an active member of the Girl Scouts of the U.S.A., demonstrating the principles of the Girl Scout Promise and Law in all activities.
Present a positive image to campers, parents, and volunteers through all interactions.

Minimum Requirements
High school diploma and valid SC driver’s license required. Basic knowledge of receipt control, storeroom, warehousing, and delivery related areas preferred. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Experience with material handling equipment, including a forklift and other standard equipment preferred but not required (current staff will train as needed). Must be able to communicate effectively. Basic knowledge of accounting, bookkeeping, and inventory procedures preferred. Must have legible handwriting, and the ability to accurately record and file information. Must have basic data entry skills and experience in the use of standard PC software.
Additional Comments Regarding Position
Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, operate material handling equipment. Must be able to lift and carry equipment and supplies. Warehouse environment tends to be hot and dusty. Must be capable of lifting 75+ lbs. assisted and 50lbs unassisted. Must have a valid driver’s license and satisfactory background report. May be required to travel for training opportunities.

Working in a culturally diverse juvenile detention facility, you will be responsible for the guidance, security and general care of youth who present a variety of behavioral, cognitive, emotional and intellectual issues. You must also be able and willing to respond to crisis situations, including physically intervening with youth who may be violently acting out; this may involve the use of restraints. All Juvenile Custody Services Specialists must have the ability to regularly go up and down stairs.
Some positions are assigned to work in a secure residential Behavioral Rehabilitation Services treatment program for youth of all genders who require a staff secured, out of home placement for assessment/evaluation, stabilization and transition planning.
The facility operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Applicants must be willing to work a variety of shifts, including overnight, swing, weekends and holidays. JCSS work on a continuous duty shift, meaning that you may not be relieved of duty during your work day. This position is also designated as Operationally Essential .

What is a Program and Events Specialist?

Manage all aspects of Federal grants- formula, stimulus, and competitive
Review all federal grant opportunities, provide analysis and recommendations
Coordinate and submit federal budgets & budget modifications for federal grants
Work with Sr Budget Analyst to ensure federal budget or budget modifications coordinates with the officewide budget
Manage PAGE federal grant reporting system-
Prepare and submit annual budgets, budget changes & updates
Quarterly financial and performance reports

Work with Program staff and Directors to develop and balance grant budgets
Ensure budget meets grant requirements (ie admin, payroll, etc)

Manage allowability of grant expenditures (grant requirements)
Manage certified payrolls
Maintain CEO Payroll Distribution forecast
Ensure CPPS accounting templates are updated
Prepare and submit annual, new hire, separation
Input grant docs in CORE (GTOP, GTAP, GTAW)
CEO rep to Statewide Grant Manager’s Group at the Office of the State Controller (OSC)
Work closely with OSC for reporting on grant and stimulus progress

At least one year experience working with federal grants.
Experience should be related to grant budget, applications, grant accounting , audit & monitoring.
A bachelor’s degree in a related field (business administration, public administration, public policy, accounting, or a related field), or 1-2 years of related work experience in policy, budgeting, or data management and analysis.
Candidates must have demonstrated experience successfully completing quantitative and qualitative analysis projects, including synthesizing complex data and information from a wide variety of sources into easy-to-navigate datasets
Candidates must have strong written and oral communication skills, especially with an ability to express complex ideas clearly and concisely

OUR CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST WILL: Provide customer assistance in ordering blood and plasma derivatives and transfusion-related products and supplies. Maintain hospital inventory and return blood products within regulatory compliance. Pay Rate: Starting rate $15.50 per hour (possibly more for areas with a higher cost of living) Schedule: Full time, remote position 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Eastern time, 5 days per week (must be willing to work weekends) On-call 3-4 times per year Rotate 3 working Holidays per year Training: Monday through Friday, day shift hours (subject to change based on trainer availability). Key Responsibilities: Receive routine orders for a variety of blood and pharmaceutical products and transfusion-related supplies. Follow appropriate procedures ensuring accurate order entry and order fulfillment. Make follow-up calls if product needs cannot be met as expected. Determine most economical method of transportation for hospital shipments. Maintain/work with data, tools or computer programs to facilitate management and monitoring of product and service information. Rotate inventory of primary and remote facilities to ensure adequate supplies of products for the needs of customers. Provide customer service to clients. Proactively communicate with hospital customers to increase customer satisfaction. Maintain positive and professional communications, both internally as well as externally to provide regular product/service information and follow-up; promote teamwork. Investigate and resolve hospital shipment problems. Receive, investigate and communicate related to customer concerns; complete customer concerns documentation accurately and timely, then forward to appropriate individual(s) to follow-up/review. Assist hospital personal with inventory alternatives when requested products are unavailable within established guidelines and procedures that assist the customer and the patient. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED: Education: High School or equivalent required. Experience: Minimum one years related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required. Progressive experience in a dynamic, multi-task operational environment preferred. Experience in blood or pharmaceutical inventory management/hospital customer relations/logistics is preferred. Skills/Abilities: Excellent oral and written communication skills. Outstanding interpersonal skills in dealing with all levels of customers and staff (paid and volunteer). Must have excellent organizational skills, be able to handle multiple priorities effectively. Problem-solving and analytical skills. Working knowledge of computers.
