The American Red Cross has a full time Marketing Operation Coordinator position open in our Peoria, Illinois office.

In this role you be responsible for contributing to division goals and maintaining the organization’s image in support of organizational goals. Responsible for supporting the implementation of blood donor marketing programs across all channels including but not limited to direct mail, telerecruitment, eMarketing, and broadcast voice messaging. Provides operational support for marketing and communications activities within or across applicable systems including but not limited to operational projects, donor feedback activities, data initiatives, and/or special projects. Provides excellent customer care/service to donors, sponsors and internal customers, and ensures satisfaction by addressing information requests, resolving donor complaints, and/or altering records to ensure accurate information.

This is a full time position, working 2nd shift. The hours of this position are 11:30am – 8pm.

Qualifications

High school diploma, specialized business, or secretarial/administrative training required and Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum one year of progressively responsible operational or related work experience or the equivalent combination of related education and experience is required. Advanced level of computer skill proficiency, including knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and database applications, website/internet tools and Microsoft Office applications is required. Demonstrated ability in providing operational support and/or customer care required. Experience Customer Relationship Management marketing organizations preferred. Demonstrated ability in providing operational support and/or customer care required. Experience with Siebel and/or in Customer Relationship Management marketing organizations preferred. Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with all levels of staff, media, volunteers, donors and the general public is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills and technical skills required. Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

Compensation - $15-16 an hour.
