The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, shifts vary, but scheduled no later than 5pm. Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Two years of clerical word processing, typing or stenographic work experience which includes at least one year of work directly related to the work of the class; or On year (45 credit hours) of post-secondary business legal or office occupational training or education may be substituted for one year of required experience.
Knowledge of: M odern office practices; business English, grammar, spelling and punctuation; the operation of Court and court processing activity.
Ability to: W ork independently in a high pressure environment; follow, understand and apply prescribed procedures, policies, laws and regulations to the legal processing activities of the Court systems; express ideas clearly and concisely both orally and in writing; operate standard office equipment including word processors computer terminals, typewriters, adding machines, calculators, dictaphones, copiers and transcribers; sit or stand both for long periods of time while performing routine and repetitive functions; to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, other agencies and the general public.

Responds to telephone inquiries; sorts and routes documents; initiates correspondence requesting information or in response to a Court-related inquiry.
Performs data entry for Court functions through a computer terminal; gathers, compiles, codes, records, enters and extracts data.
Takes applications, approves notary bonds, records business information as required by law; processes paperwork for commitments, releases and referrals; contacts appropriate departments and agencies for the exchange of information; enters citations or complaints into computer or log book.
Arranges for time payments for Court-related fines; monitors payments and takes appropriate action for delinquent payments; pursues collection of dishonored checks; monitors case dispositions for defendant compliance to sentences.
Assists in balancing daily receipts and accounts.
Operates standard office equipment.
Performs related work as required.

Lead and manage a team of local Disaster Program Managers and Supervisors responsible for the implementation of disaster preparedness, response, and recovery programs in the local area. Plan, direct, and implement department, service or program overall strategic goals and objectives. Ensure the development of Disaster leadership volunteers in each of the program support functional areas of the disaster cycle in order to meet the needs of the territory, region, state and division. The candidate is also encouraged to conduct independent avian ecology research during their tenure.
From February to September, the Research Assistant III (RAIII) will collaborate with all other lab members to continue the program’s long-term demography study of FLSJs at Archbold, including, but not limited to, finding and monitoring nests, trapping and banding birds including nestling, juveniles and adults, resighting banded birds, and conducting annual acorn surveys.
From July to February, the RAIII will be responsible for independently planning, organizing, conducting, and reporting FLSJ surveys, trapping, and banding at sites managed by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) throughout Highlands County. The RAIII will be assisted in the field by interns and volunteers during this time. ABOUT CASA DE LOS AMIGOS: This program has 2 locations and 20 beds, serving clients ages 12-17, who have been placed in the program by the Office of Refugee Resettlement Department of Unaccompanied Children's Services (ORR / DUCS).
POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Program Manager, the Program Supervisor will be responsible for the overall daily operations of the program site. The Program Supervisor will provide day-to-day supervision, leadership, and guidance of the Youth Counselors. In conjunction with other program leadership and staff, the Program Supervisor’s task is to create a safe and caring therapeutic environment for vulnerable young people in residence. Lead weekly house/community meeting for youth, and house staff meeting with Youth Counselors and Mental Health Therapist.

Oversee implementation of life skill workshops, or other psycho-educational activities facilitated by Youth Counselors.

WORK SCHEDULE: This position is On-Call specifically for Adolescent Housing Services (Under-18), part-time , and non-exempt. Work schedules will vary and may include days, weekends, swing, grave, and holidays depending on program need. Shifts Coverage Needed: (Day shift hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Swing shifts are 3:00pm to 11pm or 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., and Grave shift hours are 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. or 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.). On-Calls typically work mostly weekends, holidays, and emergency shift openings but schedules may vary due to emergent needs of program. ABOUT ADOLESCENT HOUSING SERVICES: YouthCare’s Adolescent Housing Services is composed of two short-term shelters - HOPE Center and Adolescent Shelter, a shelter for unaccompanied minors Casa De Los Amigos, and long-term transitional living program Pathways. This department serves adolescents aged 12 to 17, is licensed by Washington State Department of Licensing Resources, and follow the Washington Administrative Codes (WAC 110-145-XXXX).
POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Program Manager and/or Program Supervisor at each program location, the On-Call Youth Counselor for Adolescent Housing Services is responsible for the daily management of the program site. All Housing programs are open 24/7 and per agency licensing requirements, program must maintain safe staff and client ratio to provide services to our clients. Youth Counselor's task is to create a safe and caring environment for high risk youth in residence who are preparing to transition to become more self-sufficient. The position requires an individual who can actively contribute to a positive, stable, responsive, and responsible environment for change.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide on-site supervision, while maintaining professional boundaries in providing crisis intervention to residents. Must be able to apply positive behavior modification techniques and model effective de-escalation and problem-solving skills.
Provide transportation with agency vehicles and or support for appointments (medical, counseling, etc.) as needed.
Act as a professional representative of YouthCare and maintain a professional working environment (office, personal workspace, agency vehicle, etc.).
Maintains a flexible work schedule (filling shifts on weekends, early and/or late hours) and must be willing to be cross-trained in providing support with shift coverage in On-Call basis for the program and the agency, as required by individual program and agency needs.

WORK SCHEDULE: This position is On-Call specifically for Adolescent Housing Services (Under-18), part-time , and non-exempt. Work schedules will vary and may include days, weekends, swing, grave, and holidays depending on program need. Shifts Coverage Needed: (Day shift hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Swing shifts are 3:00pm to 11pm or 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., and Grave shift hours are 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. or 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.). ABOUT ADOLESCENT HOUSING SERVICES: YouthCare’s Adolescent Housing Services is composed of two short-term shelters - HOPE Center and Adolescent Shelter, a shelter for unaccompanied minors Casa De Los Amigos, and long-term transitional living program Pathways. This department serves adolescents aged 12 to 17, is licensed by Washington State Department of Licensing Resources, and follow the Washington Administrative Codes (WAC 110-145-XXXX).
POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Program Manager and/or Program Supervisor at each program location, the On-Call Youth Counselor for Adolescent Housing Services is responsible for the daily management of the program site. All Housing programs are open 24/7 and per agency licensing requirements, program must maintain safe staff and client ratio to provide services to our clients. Youth Counselor's task is to create a safe and caring environment for high risk youth in residence who are preparing to transition to become more self-sufficient. The position requires an individual who can actively contribute to a positive, stable, responsive, and responsible environment for change.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide on-site supervision, while maintaining professional boundaries in providing crisis intervention to residents. Must be able to apply positive behavior modification techniques and model effective de-escalation and problem-solving skills.
Provide transportation with agency vehicles and or support for appointments (medical, counseling, etc.) as needed.
Act as a professional representative of YouthCare and maintain a professional working environment (office, personal workspace, agency vehicle, etc.).

Organize and execute annual recognition event(s) (e.g. Annual Meeting and Appreciation Event)
WORK SCHEDULE:
This position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.
REPORTS TO:
Senior Director, Culture & Belonging
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Post high school course work, technical degree, associate's degree, business or vocational certificate.
3 or more years of volunteer or internship program coordination or management experience.
Demonstrated communication skills, both written and oral, over the phone, email and in person..
Demonstrated organizational skills.
Demonstrated Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel (spreadsheets organizing data, creating reports analyzing data), and PowerPoint.
Demonstrated experience managing multiple tasks simultaneously and shifting priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
Experience overseeing budget and allocating funds appropriately.
Demonstrated program management experience.
Previous experience acting as a representative for a program externally and internal.
STARTING SALARY:
Exempt (Salaried). $61,000-66,000 / year
