Job Description

PeopleTec, Inc. is currently seeking a Military Operations Analyst to support our El Paso, TX operations.

Employ intelligence training and experience to support editing efforts of draft analytic products to ensure accuracy and relevancy prior to final production. Identify and recommend analytic rigor to satisfy Commander's PIR, organizational objectives, and evolving threats. Recommend analytic structure and organization to maximize production and best utilization of organic intelligence skill sets. Apply basic intelligence analytical skills to research historical intelligence and statistical based demographic information to inform detailed intelligence analysis of transnational drug trafficking threats to CONUS and Partner Nations in the JTF-N area of responsibility. Collate, analyze and present illegal drug trafficking and narco-terrorist activity data and assist fellow analysts in developing and maintaining related threat databases. Produce written and graphic intelligence products for review and or inclusion in finished intelligence reports by coworkers and or senior analysts. Assist in translation of foreign written documents into usable English reports, as necessary. Conduct operational, proactive, transnational drug trafficking threat-focused intelligence research and analysis, develop actionable intelligence, and contribute to an intelligence common operating/common intelligence picture. Work in developing a Common Operational Picture (COP)/Common Intelligence Picture (CIP) to support multi-agency work in the realm of Home Land Security (HLS) and Homeland Defense (HLD). COP/CIP should be dynamic and displayed visually and geospatially. It should integrate multiple consumer information, and reporting streams that can be shared for collaboration. COP/CIP should employ doctrinal principles for the conduct of intelligence analysis in order to display multi-domain information on friendly and Transnational Criminal Organization (TCO) forces. It should enable geographically separated units to contribute analysis and event activity into the COP/CIP. Also show respective activities and other key environmental variables that affect capacities and capabilities of the aforementioned forces. Establish protocols/ procedures for access to relevant databases and information sharing. Fuse tactical and operational intelligence from interagency sources throughout the AOR to provide predictive analysis on drug-trafficking threats and aggression aimed at the homeland USNORTHCOM, USA. All analyst positions require a basic knowledge of DoD and Law Enforcement Agency counterdrug programs. The positions require knowledge of the Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS) and experience in using Secret Internet Protocol Network (SIPRNET). Contractors shall use a variety of media in communicating and making presentations appropriate to the audience using logic, analysis, synthesis, creativity, judgment, and systematic approaches to gather, evaluate and use multiple sources of information to inform decisions and outcomes. They are expected to recognize, value, build, and leverage organizationally appropriate diverse collaborative networks of coworkers, peers, customers, stakeholders, and teams within the organization and/or across the intelligence community. Possession of a basic understanding of drug trafficking trends along the border regions of the Southern United States is desired. May be required to attend intelligence and law enforcement meetings and symposia on behalf of JTF-N. All analysts' activities shall be consistent and in accordance with established DOD and unit intelligence oversight guidelines and restrictions.


Required Skills/Experience:

  • 5 years of military experience or experience in military operations, mission planning, and exercise support
  • Possess above average verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
  • Travel: 15%
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • A Top Secret/SCI clearance is required to perform this work.  Candidates are required to have an active Top Secret/SCI clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.


Education Requirements:

A completed Bachelor's Degree in a related field OR, 5 years of applicable work experience is required.

  • Spanish speaking and writing skills are desired.
