Job Description:

Collections Material Coordinator

Southeast Michigan Region

Schedule: Variable

Pay: $13.15 an hour, with an increase to $15.35 in 90 days.

Position Summary:
In this position you would provide support to the blood collections operation by acquiring, distributing and maintaining supplies and equipment used in the day to day blood collection operation. Responsible for the delivery and return of materials to internal and external customers.


1. Acquire, distribute, maintain and manage supplies and equipment used in blood collection warehousing operations.

2. Inventory and order supplies from warehouse, maintaining Blood Collections’ supply and equipment area. Fill order requisitions. Maintain appropriate stock levels

3. Maintain and perform quality control on equipment and supplies, rotate inventory and assure that supplies are stored and distributed in compliance with quality control standards. Maintain appropriate stock levels

4. Drive blood collection vehicles to load and unload required supplies and equipment where applicable and as needed.


  • High School Diploma
  • Ability to carry moderate weight
  • Current Drivers' license with good driving record
  • Inventory control experience is preferred
