Clark College is currently accepting applications for a full-time, permanent, 12-month classified Program Coordinator in the Student Affairs unit. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Provide outreach, follow up and ongoing support to students for campus and community resources.
Help facilitate wrap-around services for students.
Collaborate with Student Leaders, Student Affairs staff and other college employees to better assist and serve students. Lead efforts to develop a community on campus
Participate in college-wide efforts to support student access, persistence, and completion.
Create marketing materials to promote the PEC Center
Maintain student education records confidentiality and comply with FERPA regulations.
Participate in ongoing evaluation and revision efforts to ensure appropriate and effective supports for prioritizing running start and dual enrolled students.
Conduct outreach to running start and dual enrolled students for academic support and resource connection.
Focus on event planning for the PEC Center, including success events, connection and community building events, and study/academic activities.
Assist with continuing to develop and maintain the PEC Center programming and lounge space.
Perform related duties as required.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES: Candidates will be evaluated based on application materials, including the supplemental questions and personal interview(s), and will be required to demonstrate competencies in the following areas:
High School graduation or equivalent AND two (2) years’ experience in an office setting preferably working with students OR equivalent education/experience.
One (1) year of experience using Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook and experience with Zoom.
Two (2) years of experience in any of the three key areas listed below:
Providing customer service to diverse populations
Working with confidential information and adhering to confidentiality

Maintain the Guide community Facebook and LinkedIn groups by adding members and posting engaging content.
Volunteer Recruitment
Support the Program Coordinator, Guide Program with developing and implementing volunteer recruitment strategies to maintain a consistent stream of virtual volunteer mentors entering the Guide Program that ideally reflect the diversity of Resolution’s Fellows, and grow the pipeline as Fellow numbers increase.
Support the Program Coordinator, Guide Program in their work with corporate partners to maintain current relationships and recruit new corporate volunteer partners in collaboration with the Assistant Director of Programs.
Provide support to the Program Coordinator in the management of the mentor matching process for recently onboarded Resolution Fellows.
Management
Manage and support the professional growth of the Program Coordinator, Guide Program.

Qualifications
3-5 years of relevant professional experience.
Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and follow-through.
Ability to work well independently, with a high level of professionalism and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to also work in collaboration with other staff, volunteers, and external partners from a variety of different backgrounds.
Prior stakeholder, relationship, or membership management experience.
Ability to handle sensitive information about donors, team members, Resolution Fellows, methodologies, etc. with discretion and good judgment.
Computer literacy, including extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite.
Experience managing a technical platform, volunteer management systems preferred.
Friendly and outgoing personality, and comfort running trainings, webinars, and regularly networking to grow the volunteer community.

You will be a key member of the Outreach and Governance team led by the Deputy Director of Outreach & Governance.
What will you do:
Communications & Project Management (50%):
Supports the Communications Manager with the production of all communications deliverables, including establishing deadlines for the Editorial and Design calendar, managing the intake and work flow for all communications products, and collaborating with Support Unit staff to frame and develop content
Liaises with external vendors, contractors, and consultants to copyedit, write, design, develop, and translate Support Unit products in collaboration with the Partnership’s host institutions
Engages with Support Unit staff to develop the monthly email newsletter and maintains and updates the newsletter audience
Publishes and curates content for the website
Supports design projects including photo selection and editing, as well as graphic design
Social Media (30%):
Supports the development of the Partnership’s social media strategy under the guidance of the Communications Manager, including curating the social media calendar, working with staff to source and draft social content, and designing branded templates
Regularly tracks and evaluates success metrics and key performance indicators with the Communications Manager to evaluate social media audience engagement and growth, and supports in media tracking and analysis
Administration, Grants and Finance (20%):
Supports with budget tracking and processes all communications invoices, grants and contracts with vendors and consultants in coordination with the Communications Manager and Operations and Grants team
Coordinates team input to the broader Support Unit, including through regular communications dispatches, meetings support and trainings
Supports the close of the fiscal year as requested by the Deputy Director of Operations, and assists with the onboarding of new interns, vendors and consultants in coordination with the Communications Manager
What will you need:
Education: A completed bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, international relations, public policy, or a related field
Experience: 3+ years of full-time, relevant experience in communications, journalism, public relations, event management or a similar field

The Washington Area Bicyclist Association is looking for a Youth and Family Education Coordinator to join our bicycle education program. We are looking for someone with experience teaching youth ages 5-18, who is committed to youth development, and is enthusiastic about empowering families to ride bikes together.
TEAM
WABA’s education team is a three person team and our job is to help youth, adults, and families throughout the DC region to learn to ride bikes and to ride safely and comfortably on our trails and city streets. Our youth education program provides bicycle and pedestrian education at public schools, aftercare programs, recreation centers, and public events.
The candidate must be located in the Washington, DC area — while the majority of our staff are working from home, this position will require delivering in-person bicycle education. Currently all programming is delivered outside or online.
The Youth and Family Education Coordinator is expected to begin employment in early March 2022. The salary range is $45,000 – $50,000 salaried, with benefits.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Implement WABA’s youth and family program in DC Public Charter Schools: You’ll plan, coordinate, and implement a key WABA program in the District, as laid out in WABA’s education contract with DDOT. WABA provides in-school education, after school bike clubs, youth learn to ride classes, and parent and child classes. You’ll be responsible for scheduling, leading, and teaching upwards of 20 classes and ride events per year, including marketing and promotion, outreach to teachers, parents and school administrators, designing and modifying programming, topics, ride routes, and curricula, and program evaluation. You’ll help to maintain a small fleet of youth bikes, including: cleaning, replacing parts, and tune-ups.
Implement youth and family programming across the region: You’ll deliver high-quality bicycling experiences to youth and families throughout the region. In 2022, this will include after school bicycle education in partnership with the Montgomery County Department of Recreation, and out of school bike day camps for high schoolers focused on exploring the District’s watershed and ecology.
Manage WABA’s Bike Camp! : You’ll plan and run our summer program for kids aged 8 to 14. You’ll lead on day-to-day camp operations, including overseeing registration and promotion, hiring, training, and supervising counselors, designing program curricula and a risk management plan, and coordinating with community partners.
Support WABA’s education program: In collaboration with the Adult Education Coordinator, you’ll provide administrative and logistics support for WABA’s education program. This includes teaching classes, scheduling and permitting, setting up class registrations and promotions, communicating with and following up with participants, risk management, and program evaluation.
QUALIFICATIONS

The Washington Area Bicyclist Association is looking for a Youth and Family Education Coordinator to join our bicycle education program. We are looking for someone with experience teaching youth ages 5-18, who is committed to youth development, and is enthusiastic about empowering families to ride bikes together.
TEAM
WABA’s education team is a three person team and our job is to help youth, adults, and families throughout the DC region to learn to ride bikes and to ride safely and comfortably on our trails and city streets. Our youth education program provides bicycle and pedestrian education at public schools, aftercare programs, recreation centers, and public events.
The candidate must be located in the Washington, DC area — while the majority of our staff are working from home, this position will require delivering in-person bicycle education. Currently all programming is delivered outside or online.
The Youth and Family Education Coordinator is expected to begin employment in early March 2022. The salary range is $45,000 – $50,000 salaried, with benefits.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Implement WABA’s youth and family program in DC Public Charter Schools: You’ll plan, coordinate, and implement a key WABA program in the District, as laid out in WABA’s education contract with DDOT. WABA provides in-school education, after school bike clubs, youth learn to ride classes, and parent and child classes. You’ll be responsible for scheduling, leading, and teaching upwards of 20 classes and ride events per year, including marketing and promotion, outreach to teachers, parents and school administrators, designing and modifying programming, topics, ride routes, and curricula, and program evaluation. You’ll help to maintain a small fleet of youth bikes, including: cleaning, replacing parts, and tune-ups.
Implement youth and family programming across the region: You’ll deliver high-quality bicycling experiences to youth and families throughout the region. In 2022, this will include after school bicycle education in partnership with the Montgomery County Department of Recreation, and out of school bike day camps for high schoolers focused on exploring the District’s watershed and ecology.
Manage WABA’s Bike Camp! : You’ll plan and run our summer program for kids aged 8 to 14. You’ll lead on day-to-day camp operations, including overseeing registration and promotion, hiring, training, and supervising counselors, designing program curricula and a risk management plan, and coordinating with community partners.
Support WABA’s education program: In collaboration with the Adult Education Coordinator, you’ll provide administrative and logistics support for WABA’s education program. This includes teaching classes, scheduling and permitting, setting up class registrations and promotions, communicating with and following up with participants, risk management, and program evaluation.

POSITION SUMMARY
Our client, the Child Abuse Prevention Center (CAP Center), is seeking a dynamic individual to serve as the Director of Policy for Prevent Child Abuse California (PCACA) and the California Family Resource Association (CFRA). This individual will be responsible for policy (legislative activities and advocacy for the CAP Center) and for CFRA’s membership (leadership, operations, oversight, effectiveness, and sustainability).
The Director of Policy is the chief policy leader for the organization, working directly with the legislature, the executive branch, Family Resource Center partners, and advocacy collaborations. The Director is responsible for developing a policy platform, initiating legislation, strategic partnerships, and budget proposals. This position is also responsible for CFRA’s membership (including internal and external communications, identifying emerging needs and opportunities for the association and its members, and ensuring member satisfaction, retention, and growth).
The Director of Policy works directly with Board of Directors’ Policy Committee. The Director supervises the CFRA Project Manager and the Communications Specialist. POSITION SUMMARY
Our client, the Child Abuse Prevention Center (CAP Center), is seeking a dynamic individual to serve as the Director of Policy for Prevent Child Abuse California (PCACA) and the California Family Resource Association (CFRA). This individual will be responsible for policy (legislative activities and advocacy for the CAP Center) and for CFRA’s membership (leadership, operations, oversight, effectiveness, and sustainability).

Collect data analytics and metrics to assess the impact and reach of our communication efforts. Periodically draft and update environmental justice communications (e.g., newsletters, reports, briefings, memos, factsheets, digital, web content) to facilitate information distribution among internal and external partners.
Elevate Shared Environmental Justice and Conservation Priorities : Distill information collected from convenings (e.g., meetings, roundtables, national townhalls) with frontline leaders, policymakers, funders, and organizations in summary documents, reports, and other forms of publications. The Environmental Justice, Climate, and Community Revitalization Program is committed to unraveling systems of oppression to achieve healthy, sustainable, and just communities by addressing environmental injustices that have overburdened lower wealth, communities of color, and Indigenous people by using our resources, cultivating strong partnerships, and prioritizing on-the-ground solutions that communities find value in. As we continue to ramp up our communication efforts to showcase the innovative work that the program is leading and collaborating with partners on, we seek to hire an Environmental Justice Sr. Communications Coordinator to join our team in Washington, D.C. (Due to COVID-19 all employees are working remotely until we make return to work decisions). In addition to supporting communications to amplify environmental justice issues and frontline stories via a multi-year communications plan, this creative individual will also serve a vital role in maintaining the Federation up-to-date with ongoing initiatives through innovative communication platforms.
In this role you will:
Develop and Implement Strategic Communications : Develop and maintain a multi-year communications plan to elevate environmental and climate justice-related priorities via digital media platforms, magazines, e-newsletters, etc. with the support of the Environmental Justice Program Manager and the Director of Communications. Collect data analytics and metrics to assess the impact and reach of our communication efforts. Periodically draft and update environmental justice communications (e.g., newsletters, reports, briefings, memos, factsheets, digital, web content) to facilitate information distribution among internal and external partners.
Elevate Shared Environmental Justice and Conservation Priorities : Distill information collected from convenings (e.g., meetings, roundtables, national townhalls) with frontline leaders, policymakers, funders, and organizations in summary documents, reports, and other forms of publications. Consult with staff that are interested in elevating environmental justice-related content in their communication platforms (e.g., newsletters, blogs, concept memos).
Work with Stakeholders to Elevate Issues and Priorities: Implement new and innovative ways of communicating about environmental justice through the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), videos, storytelling, and/or other forms of media to reach a broader set of constituents. Utilize our existing media platforms to amplify environmental justice leaders and initiatives to educate our membership and the public. Develop and maintain a digital database for compiled resources (e.g., reports, tools, papers) to support frontline leaders in collaboration with our web team.
Collaborate with Colleagues to Advance Environmental Justice-Related Communications: Periodically draft and review written content to ensure environmental justice-related language is accurately reflected. Work closely with the Environmental Justice Program Manager, Environmental Justice Coordinator, and digital team to develop social media toolkits and talking points to support projects and initiatives. Collaborate with communications team to coordinate communication and engagement strategies for targeted audiences in the form of press releases, media advisories, talking points, etc.
Minimum Experience:
College degree and/or a minimum of 3 years with relevant work experience in communications, journalism, marketing, publications, or related field
Experience drafting communication and outreach materials for general audiences (e.g., blogs, reports, digital content)
Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Canva, or other graphic design platforms
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in copy editing, pitching stories to news media outlets, bilingual translation, and alternative forms of communication (i.e., GIS, story mapping, video production, website design, audiograms) is plus

Travel:

The salary range for this position is currently $55,000 - $60,000 annually, dependent upon qualifications and experience.
