Job Purpose
The Data and Reporting Analyst develops reports and processes to summarize prospective student and applicant information to facilitate data-informed enrollment management and marketing decisions within the College of Charleston’s Enrollment Planning division. Primary job duties include report development, data management, end user training, and process documentation. This role is collaborative with the Office of Admissions, University Marketing, and multiple other College stakeholder groups to support achievement of the College’s enrollment planning goals.
Minimum Requirements
College degree from an accredited university in the field of data science, business, higher education, or a related discipline is strongly preferred. Alternatively, a high school diploma and at least two years of direct work experience is minimally required. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply.

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Proficiency with cleaning, organizing, and manipulating datasets in Excel or other software
Previous experience architecting logic and reports using one or more business intelligence platforms; demonstrated ability to learn reporting new reporting skills
Demonstrated ability for developing programming logic (e.g., using SQL operators)
Ability to be productive and focused in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail
Demonstrates excellent time management and organization; can effectively prioritize competing requests and tasks under direction and independently

Clark County Public Works Office of the County Engineer is seeking an Office Assistant III (Customer Service Representative) to support the office’s customer service program. Public Works is responsible for building and maintaining infrastructure that our community uses every day to include county roads and parks. This position provides complex customer service to internal and external customers, performing a variety of administrative support activities which contribute to efficient operations and require a thorough understanding of department and county programs and procedures. Public Works staff can be proud of the difference they make each day in the lives of our community. Not only is there the day-to-day work of building and maintaining roads and parks, but there’s also inclement weather events where the staff come together as a team to keep the roads open for the traveling public. During inclement weather, this position is required to work in the office even though other county offices may be closed. Some of this work may be conducted remotely at an alternate worksite with full access to the needed operating systems and technology. However, this position requires frequent travel in an assigned geographic area, and participation in periodic evening meetings of water system governing boards. The Oregon Health Authority (OHA), Public Health Division (PHD), Drinking Water Services (DWS) is recruiting for a Regional Engineer to serve the regulated public water system community and the consulting engineering profession as an expert technical resource on drinking water quality and water treatment, distribution, and operation issues.

Four years of engineering experience; AND

The Toxics Cleanup Program within the Department of Ecology is looking to fill a Federal Facilities Underground Storage Tank (UST) Inspector and Leaking Underground Storage Tank (LUST) Site Manager (Environmental Specialist 4) position. This position is located in our Headquarters Office in Lacey, WA . Upon hire, you must live within a commutable distance from the duty station. Accidental spills of dangerous materials and past business practices have contaminated land and water throughout the state. The Toxics Cleanup Program (TCP) works to remedy these situations, which range from cleaning up contamination from leaking underground storage tanks, to large complex projects requiring engineering solutions. Our mission is to get and keep contaminants out of the environment.
As the Federal Facilities UST Inspector and LUST Site Manager, you will help prevent environmental contamination and re-contamination by protecting the land, water, and air of the state through regulatory oversight of UST/LUST sites and providing technical assistance and guidance at federal facilities. In this role, you will provide regulatory oversight through education, UST significant operational compliance (SOC) inspections, UST installation inspections, UST decommission inspections, complaint investigations, LUST site management, and issuing enforcement actions when necessary. Duties
What makes this role unique? As the Federal Facilities Underground Storage Tank (UST) Inspector and Leaking Underground Storage Tank (LUST) Site Manager, you will travel throughout the state to inspect and provide technical assistance at underground storage tanks located at a wide range of federal facilities, such as Department of Defense sites, national parks, and post offices. You will use your technical, project management, and communication skills as you coordinate initial investigations of petroleum product spills at underground storage tanks and leaking underground storage tank sites. What you will do:
Conduct underground storage tank installation/retrofitting and decommission inspections.
Conduct initial investigations in response to spills of petroleum products at UST and leaking underground storage tank sites.
Issue the appropriate enforcement action(s) to Responsible Parties (RPs) when violations are observed and documented.
Resolve enforcement actions by following the procedures in the UST Inspector Enforcement Manual and by supplying RPs with guidance in order to correct violations.
Provide testimony for Pollution Control Hearing Board hearings, case reviews, and court cases involving UST regulations and inspections.
Direct and coordinate owners and operators, contractors, local government agencies, and others on complex UST projects.
Create new guidance documents and develop new tools to assist UST inspectors.
Provide technical assistance, guidance, and expertise at UST and LUST sites.
Independently review cleanup project reports to determine if cleanup actions meet the substantive requirements of Model Toxics Control Act (MTCA); draft opinion letters.

Duties
What makes this role unique? As the Federal Facilities Underground Storage Tank (UST) Inspector and Leaking Underground Storage Tank (LUST) Site Manager, you will travel throughout the state to inspect and provide technical assistance at underground storage tanks located at a wide range of federal facilities, such as Department of Defense sites, national parks, and post offices. You will use your technical, project management, and communication skills as you coordinate initial investigations of petroleum product spills at underground storage tanks and leaking underground storage tank sites. What you will do:
Conduct underground storage tank installation/retrofitting and decommission inspections.
Conduct initial investigations in response to spills of petroleum products at UST and leaking underground storage tank sites.
Issue the appropriate enforcement action(s) to Responsible Parties (RPs) when violations are observed and documented.
Resolve enforcement actions by following the procedures in the UST Inspector Enforcement Manual and by supplying RPs with guidance in order to correct violations.
Provide testimony for Pollution Control Hearing Board hearings, case reviews, and court cases involving UST regulations and inspections.
Direct and coordinate owners and operators, contractors, local government agencies, and others on complex UST projects.
Create new guidance documents and develop new tools to assist UST inspectors.
Provide technical assistance, guidance, and expertise at UST and LUST sites.
Independently review cleanup project reports to determine if cleanup actions meet the substantive requirements of Model Toxics Control Act (MTCA); draft opinion letters.
Qualifications

What makes this role unique?
As a Senior Underground Storage Tank (UST) Inspector, you will conduct UST system inspections following the Environmental Protections Agency's TC guidance and demonstrate an ability to apply sound professional judgment in identifying and resolving violations of UST regulations. UST Inspectors provide technical assistance and education on UST related topics for the Toxics Cleanup Program. They also act as regional contact for external customers and statewide contact for internal customers regarding UST regulations, forms, technical questions, and direct and coordinate with owners and operators of UST systems, UST service providers, local government agencies, and others on complex UST sites. You will also conduct Initial Investigations of potential releases of hazardous substances. Following the Initial Investigation, you will conduct Site Hazardous Assessments ranking the potential exposure risk posed by the hazardous substance. What you will do:
Conduct UST technical compliance, decommissioning, and installation inspections.
Promptly respond to UST complaints.
Conduct Initial Investigations under the provisions of MTCA of potential of a release or threatened release of a hazardous substance.
Conduct Site Hazardous Assessments involving ranking the potential exposure risk posed by a hazardous substance within a relative scoring system.
Issue the appropriate enforcement action(s) to responsible parties and resolve enforcement actions.
Provide technical assistance, expertise, and education concerning UST systems and the regulations that apply to them.
Direct and coordinate owners and operators, contractors, local, state and federal government agencies, and others on complex UST projects.

Uses advanced scientific knowledge to independently plan, prioritize, implement and perform professional activities in locating, installing, and operating new and existing air monitoring sites within Ecology’s Northwest Region that will help the Air Quality Program characterize air quality, meet federal air pollution standards, and ensure clean healthy air.
Serves as the primary operator for, and has a specialty focus on, the national near-road, PM2.5 Chemical Speciation Network, and fine and coarse particulate monitoring programs within Ecology’s Northwest Region.
Processes large amounts of air sample media for several different types of manual-method samplers. This is includes installing sample media in samplers in the field, properly storing media (e.g., refrigerating) sampled filters, as well as packing, shipping, and tracking media sample packages and coordinating with delivery services (FedEx, USPS) and analysis laboratories.
Investigates and evaluates new and current air monitoring sites, including sites in overburdened communities consistent with the implementation of the Environmental Justice provisions of the Climate Commitment Act.
Installs monitoring equipment including the site shelter and air monitors and coordinates with the IT & Telemetry unit and Calibration & Repair team to configure air monitors with data logging equipment.
Installs and operates temporary monitors and low-cost air sensors as needed to respond to wildland fire smoke and other emergent events.

Experience must Include : One (1) year of the professional level experience must be in conducting air monitoring or similar environmental measurements to qualify at the ES 4 level. A Master's degree in Atmospheric, Meteorological, or Environmental science will substitute for 6 months experience in conducting air monitoring experience, and a Ph.D. in Atmospheric, Meteorological, or Environmental science will substitute for the full year requirement.
Education: involving a major study in environmental, physical, or one of the natural sciences, environmental planning or other allied field.

Keeping Washington Clean and Evergreen
The Toxics Cleanup Program (TCP) program within the Department of Ecology is looking to fill an Underground Storage Tank Inspector (Environmental Specialist 3) position. The position is located in our Central Regional Office (CRO) in Union Gap, WA .
Underground Storage Tank (UST) inspectors fill an important role by preventing pollution. In this role, you will visit gas station owners in seven counties throughout central Washington. You will help them understand why monitoring of their USTs is so important, and make sure their testing and monitoring falls within our state regulations. If necessary, you will issue penalties. You will work with a senior UST inspector and shadow them on inspections until you are ready to be on your own. This position offers the opportunity to travel and create your own schedule.

Complaint and Foodborne Illness Outbreak Investigation - an EHS will investigate complaints by performing records searches, site visits, interviews of complainants and gathering other pertinent information.
Enforcement of Regulation - an EHS will, when necessary, initiate enforcement when regulations are not met. The goal is to ensure compliance with public health rules. In many instances, the EHS will partner with other agencies that can improve the process or offer resources to the one with whom enforcement is being pursued.
Technical Assistance - the EHS will offer technical expertise to property owners, business owners, private industry, real estate agents, developers, partnering agencies, county departments and other stakeholders. This task can include significant research and communication.
Qualifications Education and Experience:
The successful candidate will likely have a combination of education, experience, and qualifications equivalent to or including the following:
Bachelor of Science degree in environmental health or a closely related area.
Two years successful experience in obtaining compliance with environmental health standards. (EHS II classification only – if hired, applicants with less than 2 years of applicable experience will be classified as an EHS I).
Registration as a Registered Sanitarian (RS) or Registered Environmental Health Specialist (REHS) preferred.
