We are seeking an energetic and highly organized Development Director to implement our development plan. This is a key role in helping to grow the organization. Essential Functions: Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Development Director (DD) will provide strategic leadership for the planning, implementation, evaluation, integration, and administration development department. The DD will lead a team of development professionals in achieving the organization’s revenue goals, increasing income, and educating and engaging more individuals and institutions in the to advance the organization’s mission. The DD will be part of a skilled team of professionals working to raise at least $5 million annually. The DD manages a multi-faceted fundraising program; central to this role will be prioritizing personal solicitation of major donors, events, online and direct marketing, and foundation fundraising.
Duties:
Work closely with the Development Team to establish fundraising goals, set strategic priorities, advise on program development, and develop and meet annual budget
Manage and build a growing team of development professionals, provide on-going guidance, direction, and motivation, hire team members and provide oversight to consultants as needed, delegate appropriately and ensure strong internal communication and coordination, and evaluate performance and provide opportunities for personal and professional growth
Work closely with the Boards of Directors to engage them more deeply in the fundraising process and to help cultivate a strong relationship between board members and the organization
Help track cultivation and prospecting activity and ensure the execution of action items
Solicit contributions from major individual donors and steward long-term relationships with donors
Develop relationships with prospective individual and foundation donors to increase funding
Research prospective institutional and individual funders
Work with internal partners to draft and edit proposals and reports
Track proposal and reporting deadlines, ensure that all submitted materials are accurate and comply with any funder requirements
Manage all grant activity in a central database and deliver regular reports to the Executive Director
Serve as the point person for management and maintenance of funders database and ensure efficient system utilization across all units
Oversee the implementation of ongoing programs to improve the renewal rates of existing annual donors, creatively use events to upgrade donors and maintain a diversity of revenue
Work with the VP of Operations to develop annual budgets and income projections
Stay abreast of political and philanthropic trends and ensure that Board and staff are informed of changes in legislation and other trends and initiatives that might impact giving

Job Summary
The Department Information Systems Coordinator (DISC) provides technical assistance and support to the Sheriff’s Office, Jail Services, and other local law enforcement agencies in planning, developing, and operating a regional law enforcement information network. This position will work directly within Clark County Information Technology (IT) and collaborate with Clark County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) management, with key responsibilities of overseeing database and application technologies used in reporting; optimizing systems for information analysis; and coordinating related enforcement activities among multiple agencies. These responsibilities necessitate both a thorough understanding of the department processes and workflow, and comprehensive knowledge of the capabilities of the available computer software and programs as well as various niche technology products specific to law enforcement. Duties typically include, but are not limited to: Assist in the installation, administration, and support of various CCSO, Jail Services, and vendor-based hardware and software systems/applications. • Participate in evaluating, recommending, and selecting application and/or hardware products needed to support the Sheriff’s Office or partner agencies. • Assist users on day-to-day computer related issues such as setting changes, printer issues, burn CDs/DVDs, file recovery, and general application use. • Provide initial or secondary troubleshooting on system/server failure and coordinate with County IT to determine the appropriate fixes. Facility Property Manager General Duties: The Facility and Property Manager oversees the strategic plan, project management, budget, care, maintenance, and contracted work of assigned properties; and works with camp team to deliver services and maintain the site in a safe working order.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES
Camp Facility Oversight
Oversight of the implementation of the property strategic plan within camp's strategic plan.
Responsible for the management of property security practices and procedures.
Provide oversight and care of maintaining camp facilities, grounds including roads and fences, property and program equipment, and machinery are in safe, well-functioning, working, and clean condition.
Ensure that all safety-related projects/needs are completed in a swift and timely manner and prepare facilities for changing weather conditions to reduce risk.
Manage daily tasks making autonomous decisions without management approval.
Conduct property assessments, inspections, and surveys for the need of immediate repairs and/or renovations, and long-term planning and property improvements.
Responsible for the follow through and updates of daily, weekly, and annual property SOPs.

Facility Property Manager General Duties: The Facility and Property Manager oversees the strategic plan, project management, budget, care, maintenance, and contracted work of assigned properties; and works with camp team to deliver services and maintain the site in a safe working order.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES
Camp Facility Oversight
Oversight of the implementation of the property strategic plan within camp's strategic plan.
Responsible for the management of property security practices and procedures.
Provide oversight and care of maintaining camp facilities, grounds including roads and fences, property and program equipment, and machinery are in safe, well-functioning, working, and clean condition.
Ensure that all safety-related projects/needs are completed in a swift and timely manner and prepare facilities for changing weather conditions to reduce risk.

What you will do!
As a Senior Application Developer, you will provide expertise and leadership to analyze, plan, develop, integrate, implement, and coordinate the operations, maintenance, installation, and construction of information systems. You will serve as a specialist dealing essentially with software. The majority of your job duties will involve planning, business analysis, research, problem solving and application development.
In this role, you will provide technical expertise for staff on new system development, system modifications and system updates. You will make technical recommendations to assist management in establishing standards, recommending changes in business processes for effective utilization of the system resources and reviewing new construction for conformance to overall system standards and business objectives.
Additionally, you will be assigned work in terms of program and project objectives, priorities, and timelines. You will work with substantial latitude for un-reviewed action and decisions and inform supervisors on progress, potentially controversial issues, or implications. Proven experience in higher education leading sustainability programming is desired. LEED Accredited Professional or closely related sustainability credentials is also preferred. Job Purpose
The Director of Sustainability provides guidance and vision for the Center for Sustainable Development ( CSD ) by fulfilling the College’s goal of fostering a culture of innovation to support sustainable solutions. This position is responsible for strategic development and operational management of the CSD . This position manages the Associate Director, Zero Waste Manager, as well as well as student graduate assistants and interns that work in the office. The Center for Sustainable Development Manager will work closely with stakeholders across the organization and community, as well as the other department heads within Facilities Management.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree related to environmental science, environmental studies, sustainability or directly related fields and three (3) to five (5) years of work experience leading sustainability initiatives for a large organization. Master’s degree related to environmental science, environmental studies, sustainability or directly related field is preferred. Proven experience in higher education leading sustainability programming is desired. LEED Accredited Professional or closely related sustainability credentials is also preferred. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply.

Must have advanced knowledge and proficiency of the various aspects of sustainability on a large college campus. A demonstrated ability to identify and formulate long-term sustainability direction and goals with the ability to translate these long-term goals into short-term action items and operational activities is required. Our Director, Corporate and Foundation Partnerships will play an important role building external partnerships that position Making Waves to increase college and career opportunities and outcomes for underrepresented students in the Bay Area. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, you will be responsible for 1) leading the year-to-year strategy and execution of corporate partnerships, 2) managing a portfolio of institutional funders, 3) retaining, upgrading, and diversifying our base of corporate and foundation partners.

A competitive base salary range of $102,672-154,008 based on requisite work experience and performance during the interview process. We intend to hire a candidate who fully meets or exceeds the qualifications for this role, so we expect to offer a base salary in the top half of the salary band.

Corporate Partnerships Strategy and Execution
Craft and execute an overall annual and long-term vision for Corporate partnerships, including strategies and campaigns for retaining and upgrading current donors, securing new donor investments, and strengthening pathways for Making Waves Academy and college students to pursue postsecondary opportunities
Conduct regular analysis of quantitative and qualitative data to inform ongoing priorities and adjust course where needed in order to ultimately meet ambitious annual goals aligned with organization OKRs and strategic plan
Funder Cultivation and Stewardship
Source, cultivate, and steward a portfolio of high-capacity corporations and foundations by developing and executing tailored cultivation and engagement plans
Develop and maintain fluency in Making Waves Education Foundation and Making Waves Academy programs and operations
Strategically leverage the CEO, Chief Development Officer, board members, and other senior leaders to steward and engage donors, including preparing these individuals for successful funder interactions
Compose tailored grant narratives, pitches, and employee engagement opportunities for high-stakes corporate and foundation donors, including reports, proposals, and donor correspondence
Collaborate with Making Waves Academy team to cultivate/steward current and prospective corporate and foundation funders
Maintain up-to-date donor records for relationships to ensure accuracy of account information, interaction history, and proposal/report submissions

ABOUT THE POSITION
Our Director, Corporate and Foundation Partnerships will play an important role building external partnerships that position Making Waves to increase college and career opportunities and outcomes for underrepresented students in the Bay Area. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, you will be responsible for 1) leading the year-to-year strategy and execution of corporate partnerships, 2) managing a portfolio of institutional funders, 3) retaining, upgrading, and diversifying our base of corporate and foundation partners.

A competitive base salary range of $102,672-154,008 based on requisite work experience and performance during the interview process. We intend to hire a candidate who fully meets or exceeds the qualifications for this role, so we expect to offer a base salary in the top half of the salary band.
In line with our commitment to equity, fairness, and transparency, we do not negotiate salaries.
Signing bonus of 5% of base salary to be paid in two installments: 50% on the first eligible payroll and 50% within 6 months of the hire date.
51 total days off per fiscal year (a combination of company-paid holidays, vacation, sick, and personal time).

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Director, Corporate and Foundation Partnerships’ primary responsibilities include:
Corporate Partnerships Strategy and Execution
Craft and execute an overall annual and long-term vision for Corporate partnerships, including strategies and campaigns for retaining and upgrading current donors, securing new donor investments, and strengthening pathways for Making Waves Academy and college students to pursue postsecondary opportunities
Conduct regular analysis of quantitative and qualitative data to inform ongoing priorities and adjust course where needed in order to ultimately meet ambitious annual goals aligned with organization OKRs and strategic plan
Funder Cultivation and Stewardship
Source, cultivate, and steward a portfolio of high-capacity corporations and foundations by developing and executing tailored cultivation and engagement plans
Develop and maintain fluency in Making Waves Education Foundation and Making Waves Academy programs and operations
Strategically leverage the CEO, Chief Development Officer, board members, and other senior leaders to steward and engage donors, including preparing these individuals for successful funder interactions
Compose tailored grant narratives, pitches, and employee engagement opportunities for high-stakes corporate and foundation donors, including reports, proposals, and donor correspondence
Collaborate with Making Waves Academy team to cultivate/steward current and prospective corporate and foundation funders
Maintain up-to-date donor records for relationships to ensure accuracy of account information, interaction history, and proposal/report submissions
Assess Bay Area corporate and foundation philanthropy landscape through research and prospecting databases, identifying and qualifying new and lapsed funders for outreach and cultivation efforts
Contribute to important cross-functional projects
Serve as a member of the Leadership Team
Participate in organization-wide systems, processes, and rituals (e.g., annual and quarterly goal setting, employee engagement surveys, All Hands); commit to providing feedback to improve our work in the future.
