OpExNow, a leader in the financial service consulting industry, has a client with an immediate contract-to-perm opportunity for a Call Center Account Specialist in the Dallas area.

Hourly Rate Range, depending on experience: $14.75 – $15.50
This is a 3-month contract with possibility of permanent employment after successful completion of 90-day duration. Rate will increase upon conversion.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Perform the data entry and balancing of payments via check, phone pays, western union, money grams, and payoffs from customers to their account in the LSAMS system.
• Send out payoff quotes to customers and third parties/vendors; provide accurate payoff quoting information
• Reverse return payment and balance batch total to bank return amount, Open Legal Fee requests and audit various pieces of the payoff process
• Prepare the electronic file to transmit to the bank for the ACH process which includes adding, deleting and correcting accounts.
• Process adjustments/corrections of cash on accounts.
• Perform accounts payable functions for incoming invoices.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Prefer 3-5 years prior experience in Mortgage Servicing/Payment Processing, or similar financial services/call center environment. College Degree in a business related discipline preferred. Successful candidates must possess the following attributes/skills:
• Customer Service focused ability to work in a fast paced environment and maintain a professional image and demeanor.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing possess positive references from prior employers.
• Shift is Monday-Thursday 7AM - 8PM, Friday 7AM-6PM and 1-2 Saturdays a month 8AM - 2PM.
• Candidates on occasion must be able to work a flexible schedule that may include some evening and weekend hours.
• Preferred experience with payment posting, cash calculations, payoff quoting, and auditing.
• Consistent job history with 1-2 year minimum at each job held.
