Job Description

PeopleTec, Inc. is currently seeking a Quality Assurance/Software Development Manager to support our Huntsville, AL location.


Required Skills/Experience:

  • Supervisory skills and experience in establishing and maintaining Quality and Control procedures used in the execution of multiple projects simultaneously and with multiple team members to ensure work is performed in accordance with ISO, AS9100, and CMMI certification requirements.
  • Serve as a technical resource and team member in planning quality systems and procedures to assure the quality for new and existing product lines. 
  • Ensure the best practices in methods, standards and processes are utilized throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Support and coordinate the internal audit activities of software development process in order to closely monitor quality, manufacturing, engineering, and safety processes and procedures.
  • Work closely with corporate management personnel to continuously improve product reliability and functionality and minimize costs.
  • Perform internal inspections
  • Plan, promote, document and organize training events.
  • Review product specifications and edit as needed.
  • Conduct in-process reviews and internal audits for compliance.Ability to solve complex problems and communicate effectively. 
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office tools.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.


Education Requirements:

A completed Bachelor's Degree in engineering, business administration or a related field and 15 years of experience are required. Military experience is highly desired and may be substituted for degree requirements.
