Job Summary
The Department Information Systems Coordinator (DISC) provides technical assistance and support to the Sheriff’s Office, Jail Services, and other local law enforcement agencies in planning, developing, and operating a regional law enforcement information network. This position will work directly within Clark County Information Technology (IT) and collaborate with Clark County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) management, with key responsibilities of overseeing database and application technologies used in reporting; optimizing systems for information analysis; and coordinating related enforcement activities among multiple agencies. These responsibilities necessitate both a thorough understanding of the department processes and workflow, and comprehensive knowledge of the capabilities of the available computer software and programs as well as various niche technology products specific to law enforcement. Duties typically include, but are not limited to: Assist in the installation, administration, and support of various CCSO, Jail Services, and vendor-based hardware and software systems/applications. • Participate in evaluating, recommending, and selecting application and/or hardware products needed to support the Sheriff’s Office or partner agencies. • Assist users on day-to-day computer related issues such as setting changes, printer issues, burn CDs/DVDs, file recovery, and general application use. • Provide initial or secondary troubleshooting on system/server failure and coordinate with County IT to determine the appropriate fixes. Assists in break fix where applicable or in County IT absence. • Assist in the development, maintenance, and troubleshooting of data transfer process between CCSO systems, County IT, and vendors. • Assist in the design and development of department level relational database (e.g. SQL database) and database objects to support in-house developed applications. (I.E. – Win-Pak) • Assist in coordinating database support functions for law enforcement systems including security administration, performance tuning, and data moves. • Perform system administration for reporting systems (e.g. SQL Reporting Service) including security administration, setup, bug fixes, and deployment. • Convert and migrate data from existing systems to new systems and provide on-going system maintenance for client. • Develop ad-hoc query, data extraction, and other reports to meet the department and external agencies objectives. (I.E. – SSRS reports) • Analyze data and create reports (I.E. – SSRS or other required formats for presentations) as needed for customers. • Monitor and track inventory of law enforcement hardware and software including laptops, projectors, etc. • Assist in the development of short-term and long-term strategic planning for the law enforcement IS support unit. • Research, suggest, design, validate, and deploy new law enforcement and mobile related technology. (I.E. – Apple iOS phones and iPads, Android phones, body cameras) • Assist in Bodycam support related to hardware and supporting applications. • Utilize MobileIron MDM solution to support the management of Apple iOS and Android phones. • Assist outside agencies on items and issues related to law enforcement records management systems. Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Education equivalent to an associate degree in computer science or closely related field (directly related work experience may substitute for the degree requirement) plus three to five years of responsible experience in supporting computer technology users and systems is required. The degree must have been conferred by an institution of higher education and have National Recognition of Accrediting Agencies by the U.S. Secretary of Education, and official transcripts will be required at the time of hire.

Crisis Intervention Specialist:
Join our new and innovative Mobile Crisis Team! Cummins is adding to the Crisis Team in hopes of reaching more people in need in Hendricks County. We are seeking a motivated individual to become a FULL-TIME Crisis Intervention Specialist. The Crisis Specialist will be responsible for managing communication around a range of crisis situations, including telephone responses, in person care, and when deemed necessary become part of a mobile crisis response team. A Crisis Specialist will provide risk assessments and de-escalation interventions for both existing Cummins' consumers and those not yet engaged in Cummins' services. This position will collaborate with community partners such as shelters, law enforcement, acute inpatient hospitals.
When deemed necessary, crisis team members go mobile within Hendricks County. What does this mean? At minimum, a pair of providers go to the home, school, or community to provide thorough crisis assessments and actionable steps to bring safety to the person in need. The mobile teams use contemporary and evidence-based practices (training is provided) to bring those in crisis to recovery.

Crisis Intervention Specialist:
Join our new and innovative Mobile Crisis Team! Cummins is adding to the Crisis Team in hopes of reaching more people in need in Hendricks County. We are seeking a motivated individual to become a FULL-TIME Crisis Intervention Specialist. The Crisis Specialist will be responsible for managing communication around a range of crisis situations, including telephone responses, in person care, and when deemed necessary become part of a mobile crisis response team. A Crisis Specialist will provide risk assessments and de-escalation interventions for both existing Cummins' consumers and those not yet engaged in Cummins' services. This position will collaborate with community partners such as shelters, law enforcement, acute inpatient hospitals.
When deemed necessary, crisis team members go mobile within Hendricks County. What does this mean? At minimum, a pair of providers go to the home, school, or community to provide thorough crisis assessments and actionable steps to bring safety to the person in need. The mobile teams use contemporary and evidence-based practices (training is provided) to bring those in crisis to recovery.

This position requires access to a vehicle and insurance. This position requires field work 4 days per week with one day per week of administrative or office-based work.

Work with Housing Providers to assess and refer clients in Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) and Transitional Housing programs in need of substance use treatment services to substance use treatment providers
Provide harm reduction education to clients including training and distribution of Naloxone and fentanyl test strips
Support and advocate for clients to self-determine appropriate treatment options
Work with Housing Providers to provide outreach services to those clients who need to be re-engaged in services
Utilize internal and external database systems, including CaseWorthy, to track project data and client engagement
Assist to convene meetings and provide trainings to intensive case managers and supervisors on harm reduction, drug policy and other topics relevant to support drug user health and autonomy
Coordinate other related initiatives that support the CHH collaborative and the project
Complete funder mandated reports as necessary; document daily activities as related to the project
Attend regular trainings on harm reduction and related policy and advocacy issues
Engage in regular educational opportunities to increase knowledge about drugs, drug user health, the War on Drugs, harm reduction techniques and any other related topics to increase competency and compassion

As the Program Contracts and Grants Specialist, you will report to the AQP Budget Manager and support the Program’s goal to provide clean, healthy air for all of Washington by managing grants for local core, diesel soot reduction, wood smoke reduction and federal grants, and supporting new climate legislation contracts and grants. Duties
What makes this role unique? In this position you will be a key member of the Air Quality Program Financial Unit and will run procurements, core, woodsmoke reduction, federal, and climate-related grant programs, and ensure that the program’s Financial Unit provides accurate, transparent, and timely information that adheres to applicable federal, state, and agency policies at all times, while maintaining high-value professional relationships with internal and external partners. This position acts as a program expert in contracts, agreements, and procurements and works with program staff and management to assist them in understanding regulations, policies, and procedures in the preparation of contracts, agreements, and procurements. What you'll do:
Manage and coordinate the grant application process and pre-application announcement, including resolving issues, for assigned grant programs so that potential applicants are well-informed, final awards are as equitable and as wide spread as possible, and grant spending can begin in a minimal amount of time.
Provide assistance to regional offices and recipients on budgetary design/planning and contractual requirements, including but not limited to: grant agreements, payment requests/progress reports, amendments, and closeout processes.
Serve as a liaison between program and local air authorities regarding grant processes and implementation.
Develop, negotiate, implement and monitor terms of agreements for AQP contracts, resolve issues that arise as part of the contract process, work with agency Contracts and Grants Unit, the Attorney General’s Office, and other agencies and vendors to insure compliance and fulfillment of contract timelines and deliverables.
Establish working relationships with technical and subject matter experts in Ecology programs related to AQP grant proposals or projects, and coordinate grant development and oversight activities with these individuals.

Duties
What makes this role unique? In this position you will be a key member of the Air Quality Program Financial Unit and will run procurements, core, woodsmoke reduction, federal, and climate-related grant programs, and ensure that the program’s Financial Unit provides accurate, transparent, and timely information that adheres to applicable federal, state, and agency policies at all times, while maintaining high-value professional relationships with internal and external partners. This position acts as a program expert in contracts, agreements, and procurements and works with program staff and management to assist them in understanding regulations, policies, and procedures in the preparation of contracts, agreements, and procurements. What you'll do:
Manage and coordinate the grant application process and pre-application announcement, including resolving issues, for assigned grant programs so that potential applicants are well-informed, final awards are as equitable and as wide spread as possible, and grant spending can begin in a minimal amount of time.
Provide assistance to regional offices and recipients on budgetary design/planning and contractual requirements, including but not limited to: grant agreements, payment requests/progress reports, amendments, and closeout processes.
Serve as a liaison between program and local air authorities regarding grant processes and implementation.
Develop, negotiate, implement and monitor terms of agreements for AQP contracts, resolve issues that arise as part of the contract process, work with agency Contracts and Grants Unit, the Attorney General’s Office, and other agencies and vendors to insure compliance and fulfillment of contract timelines and deliverables.
Establish working relationships with technical and subject matter experts in Ecology programs related to AQP grant proposals or projects, and coordinate grant development and oversight activities with these individuals.

Duties
What makes this role unique? In this position you will be a key member of the Air Quality Program Financial Unit and will run procurements, core, woodsmoke reduction, federal, and climate-related grant programs, and ensure that the program’s Financial Unit provides accurate, transparent, and timely information that adheres to applicable federal, state, and agency policies at all times, while maintaining high-value professional relationships with internal and external partners. This position acts as a program expert in contracts, agreements, and procurements and works with program staff and management to assist them in understanding regulations, policies, and procedures in the preparation of contracts, agreements, and procurements. What you'll do:
Manage and coordinate the grant application process and pre-application announcement, including resolving issues, for assigned grant programs so that potential applicants are well-informed, final awards are as equitable and as wide spread as possible, and grant spending can begin in a minimal amount of time.
Provide administrative assistance to regional offices and recipients on budgetary design/planning and contractual requirements, including but not limited to: grant agreements, payment requests/progress reports, amendments, and closeout processes.
Serve as a liaison between program and local air authorities regarding grant processes and implementation.
Develop, negotiate, implement and monitor terms of agreements for AQP contracts, resolve issues that arise as part of the contract process, work with agency Contracts and Grants Unit, the Attorney General’s Office, and other agencies and vendors to insure compliance and fulfillment of contract timelines and deliverables.
Establish working relationships with technical and subject matter experts in Ecology programs related to AQP grant proposals or projects, and coordinate grant development and oversight activities with these individuals.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications: A total of Nine (9) years of experience and/or education as described below. Professional level experience in: Environmental analysis or control, or environmental planning, or experience which may include a combination of the following:
Environmental permit development and review.
Environmental inspections or enforcement activities.
Scientific studies, surveys or scientific analysis.
Technical assistance for grants, contracts, and loans.
Interpretation of policy and environmental technical assistance.
Education: involving a major study in environmental, physical, or one of the natural sciences, environmental planning or other allied field. All experience and education combinations that meet the requirements for this position:

OR Two years of experience as an Environmental Specialist 3 at the Department of Ecology. Special Requirements/Conditions of Employment:
Successfully completed Department of Enterprise Services’ Washington State Contract Management 401 training modules (or within 90 days of employment).
