Human Resource Coordinator - Recruiter

Arrow Child & Family Ministries’ HR Team provides the unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our employees and the kids Arrow serves. Arrow Child & Family Ministries provides foster care & adoption services, non-public, specialized educational programs and therapeutic treatment in residential settings across Texas & Maryland. Our Human Resources Coordinator serves as a business partners to our Arrow offices. Arrow Child & Family Ministries’ HR Team is looking for an HR professional with a variety and depth of Recruitment knowledge. This position will serve in a number of HR areas including maintaining HRIS records, administering HR functions with may include workers compensation, benefits, full cycle recruiting & coordinating the pre-hire process. This opportunity provides the unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our employees and the kids Arrow serves. Our Human Resources Coordinator serves all Arrow offices and has the opportunity to drive change within the organization. Education, Licensure and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (HR Management or Business-related) preferred.Combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Knowledge of state and federal employment laws and compliance programs (ADA, FMLA, FLSA, EEO/AAP, etc.)
  • Certification in HR practice preferred.
  • Experience with HRIS systems.
  • Must be self-directed and able to multi-task successfully.
  • Ability to positively interact in a team environment.
  • Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  
Other Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license, appropriate insurance and reliable car
  • Must submit to and pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Must submit to and pass random drug tests during employment
  • Must successfully pass all background screens as required by the state
  • Must receive a minimum of 30 hours of initial and annual training
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
