The communications senior coordinator will support CRCL’s communication and public relations activities. The communications senior coordinator will play a central role in planning and hosting the 2025 State of the Coast conference, the largest gathering of its kind in Louisiana. Secondarily, as a member of the communications team, the coordinator will help create content for and manage the organization’s website and social media; contribute to marketing and development campaigns; help generate digital and print products, including newsletters; and track and analyze data to inform communication activities. The coordinator will also be a member of the communications team of Restore the Mississippi River Delta, a five-organization campaign that includes CRCL. Facility Property Manager General Duties: The Facility and Property Manager oversees the strategic plan, project management, budget, care, maintenance, and contracted work of assigned properties; and works with camp team to deliver services and maintain the site in a safe working order.
**This position is required to stay on-site in private employee housing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES
Camp Facility Oversight
Oversight of the implementation of the property strategic plan within camp's strategic plan.
Responsible for the management of property security practices and procedures.
Provide oversight and care of maintaining camp facilities, grounds including roads and fences, property and program equipment, and machinery are in safe, well-functioning, working, and clean condition.
Ensure that all safety-related projects/needs are completed in a swift and timely manner and prepare facilities for changing weather conditions to reduce risk.
Manage daily tasks making autonomous decisions without management approval.
Conduct property assessments, inspections, and surveys for the need of immediate repairs and/or renovations, and long-term planning and property improvements.
Responsible for the follow through and updates of daily, weekly, and annual property SOPs.
Maintain a positive rapport and relationship with local sheriff, fire and rescue services for the safety and protection of camp.
Work with various state agencies for inspections, water systems testing and forest mitigation.
Oversight for scheduling and set-up of vendors for maintenance/repairs and contract maintenance.

Deliver emergency management during on-site and off-site trip incidents.
Provide site training and orientation to all camp staff.

Facility Property Manager General Duties: The Facility and Property Manager oversees the strategic plan, project management, budget, care, maintenance, and contracted work of assigned properties; and works with camp team to deliver services and maintain the site in a safe working order.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES
Camp Facility Oversight
Oversight of the implementation of the property strategic plan within camp's strategic plan.
Responsible for the management of property security practices and procedures.
Provide oversight and care of maintaining camp facilities, grounds including roads and fences, property and program equipment, and machinery are in safe, well-functioning, working, and clean condition.
Ensure that all safety-related projects/needs are completed in a swift and timely manner and prepare facilities for changing weather conditions to reduce risk.

Knowledge/Skill Requirements: Position requires a high level of technical proficiency in several distributed software, hardware, and broadcasting systems and strong project management and analytical skills. A thorough knowledge of video and audio broadcasting and studio equipment including high definition (HD) digital video, signal routing, processing equipment and Internet protocol (IP). Fluent understanding and the ability to read wiring diagrams, flowcharts and schematics. Purpose Reporting to the Associate Director of Exhibitions and Public Programs, the Event Operations Manager will plan and execute events for the Harry Ransom Center that serve researchers, students, faculty, staff, public, members, donors, and external groups. Events range from public programs and lectures, membership programs and receptions, advisory council meetings and receptions, donor events, staff gatherings, and facility rentals to a major fundraising gala held every five years.

Working closely with staff across Programming, Membership, Development, and Marketing, helps develop, deliver, and assess both in-person and virtual programs for the Ransom Center. Manages event logistics from start to finish, including public programs, donor and member events and receptions, and staff functions. Works with caterers, independent contractors, sponsors, fellow staff, and others to ensure all events comply with university and Ransom Center policies and are in keeping with the Center's mission. Participates in event execution and is onsite for the duration of each event, including rehearsals, sound check, load-in/out, set up, and breakdown .
Develop public programs budget and track use of funds.
Function 2: Program Administration
Solicits bids from vendors, negotiates contracts, and follows appropriate university and Ransom Center business office processes. Processes all necessary event forms, purchase requests, payments, and contracts to ensure prompt payment for services. Communicates and coordinates with vendors on vendor guidelines, arrival, load-in, and load-out procedures for all events.
Works with external organizations to facilitate site rentals. Develops and shares event confirmations that include customized quotes and planned schedules for the unique needs of each event. Works with external organizations in-person, by phone, and over email to ensure each external event is thoughtfully executed. Submits invoices to organizations and maintains attendance reports following each event.
Function 3: Site Administration
Coordinates event plans with Ransom Center facilities manager, guards, custodians, technology, and business office staff. Collaborates with relevant staff across Programming, Development, and Marketing to review space use requests and maintains an ongoing schedule of approved external events.
Provides reliable, high-quality administrative support exhibiting excellent communication, follow-up, and ability to take on independent projects. Assists with booking travel, hotel, or other arrangements for guest speakers or invited guests. Duties include but are not limited to maintaining budgets; communicating effectively with Ransom Center colleagues, outside organizations, speakers, and vendors; generating event reports; coordinating and managing special event volunteers; and representing the Ransom Center in a positive and professional manner.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree.
At least three years of experience in program and event operations, event coordination, or venue management.
Proven ability to interact effectively with multifaceted audiences and provide excellent customer service.

What is a Program and Events Specialist?

What is a Program and Events Specialist?
Girl Scouts of Colorado partners with a variety of organizations to engage Girls Scouts in leadership development programming through the lens of STEM, life skills, entrepreneurship, and outdoor stewardship. The UC Berkeley Labor Center conducts research and education on issues related to labor and employment. The Labor Center’s student engagement and leadership training serve to educate a diverse new generation of labor leaders. The Labor Center carries out policy relevant research on topics such as job quality and workforce development, and works with unions, policymakers and other stakeholders to develop innovative policy perspectives and programs. The Labor Center provides an important source of research and information on unions and the changing workforce for students, scholars, policymakers and the public. Departmental Overview
The UC Berkeley Labor Center conducts research and education on issues related to labor and employment. The Labor Center’s student engagement and leadership training serve to educate a diverse new generation of labor leaders. The Labor Center carries out policy relevant research on topics such as job quality and workforce development, and works with unions, policymakers and other stakeholders to develop innovative policy perspectives and programs. The Labor Center provides an important source of research and information on unions and the changing workforce for students, scholars, policymakers and the public. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-impact, high-visibility organization and to work with a nationally-recognized team of researchers, policy analysts, and educators.
Reporting to the Student Engagement Director, the Program Coordinator performs a variety of moderately complex to difficult tasks across a variety of administrative functions in support of varied programs offered by the Center for Labor Research and Education (Labor Center). WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW Provide functional support to Disaster Program Manager and Leadership at a regional level or take full cycle responsibility to provide service delivery programs within a defined geography. Support the Disaster Program Manager and volunteer workforce to support local communities by providing services to include but are not limited to: response to recurrent local disasters (house fires, floods, etc.), capacity building for mass care service delivery, participation in the Home Fire Campaign, and direct assistance and recovery services to those impacted by disasters. Assist with a broader division and national network of disaster responders and help with deployments and relief operation activity outside immediate region. This may include physical deployment to impacted communities. Engage and develop a volunteer team responsible for the implementation of disaster preparedness, response, and recovery programs in the local area. Ensure the development of leadership volunteers in each of the assigned program support functional areas of the disaster cycle in order to meet the needs of the assigned geography. Support local responses through the deployment of volunteer leaders on a daily basis in a rapid and accessible manner. Qualified and experienced volunteer leaders should be placed in key roles first.
