Job Purpose
The Supply Specialist III works under limited supervision to assist Fleet and Supply Manager, Central Store Manager, and Inventory Control Manager in accomplishment of the Central Warehouse mission. Main responsibilities of the position include order pulling, receiving goods, and delivery as well as basic computer operations to include data entry, processing, and email communications.
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma and valid SC driver’s license required. Basic knowledge of receipt control, storeroom, warehousing, and delivery related areas preferred. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Experience with material handling equipment, including a forklift and other standard equipment preferred but not required (current staff will train as needed). Must be able to communicate effectively. Basic knowledge of accounting, bookkeeping, and inventory procedures preferred. Must have legible handwriting, and the ability to accurately record and file information. Must have basic data entry skills and experience in the use of standard PC software.
Additional Comments Regarding Position
Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, operate material handling equipment. Must be able to lift and carry equipment and supplies. Warehouse environment tends to be hot and dusty. Must be capable of lifting 75+ lbs. assisted and 50lbs unassisted. Must have a valid driver’s license and satisfactory background report. May be required to travel for training opportunities.

Job Summary
The Facilities Maintenance Specialist is a journey level position performing skilled work using standardized practices for the following Specialist position: Journey Level Electrician. Incumbents are responsible for repair, adjustment, and maintenance of building systems and equipment within their specialty. Additionally, the Specialists are responsible for assisting in other specialties necessitating broad knowledge, skills and abilities in all areas of building repair and maintenance. This is the journey level in the Facilities Maintenance job family. Incumbents work with considerable independence following the standard practices of their specialty, ensuring that regulatory and preventive maintenance is performed, that routine maintenance is completed and urgent repairs are corrected in a timely manner. Incumbents may guide the work of other Specialists in accomplishing projects within their specialty area and may be responsible for training apprentice level Workers. The Specialist level is distinguished from the Worker level in that Specialists are expected to have completed the equivalent of a structured apprenticeship program and, where applicable, to hold the appropriate specialty license or card. This is a limited duration Local 48 project position ending 12/31/2025.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Completion of a trades apprenticeship program leading to the equivalent of a Journey card or license in the assigned specialty area; and,
Two years of general experience in building maintenance, construction, or an additional trade.
Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator's license.
Ability to pass Sheriff's background clearance prior to employment as required for work performed in the Jail facility.
Any combination of training and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities will be considered.

The Operations Support Coordinator plays a critical role in helping the Division transition to the Future of Work and strengthen its overall operations by assisting with high-priority technology and operational knowledge management projects. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead coordination of IT software procurements to support division-wide business needs.

Lead the project coordination of digital solutions needed to support the growth of the division. Examples of responsibilities include:

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW : Responsible to deliver corporate classes to community groups at corporate facilities and/or at community or corporate sites. Responsible to provide high quality instruction per program guidelines, provide the necessary information/reports in a timely manner and properly maintain equipment in their possession. Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with standard operating procedures and other applicable Federal, State, and local regulations. American Red Cross Training Services instructors are an elite group of professionals who teach valuable lifesaving skills to 12 million people each year in businesses, schools, and communities. WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD : Instruction: Teaches Red Cross Training Services instructors within their current certifications to businesses and to the community. Must arrive to teaching site a minimum 30 minutes before class is to begin. Supply Chain/Logistics : Responsible for maintaining, managing, and storing all assigned equipment, including storage at assigned work location and transporting equipment in personal vehicle. Responsible for re-ordering all necessary equipment at least once per month and maintaining and managing an active inventory of supplies at all times. Instructors are responsible for transporting, loading/unloading, carrying and/or lifting equipment as necessary at assigned teaching locations. At conclusion of class, is responsible for the cleaning equipment according to established decontamination guidelines and reporting any maintenance issues to the appropriate logistics staff member. Quality Assurance: Responsible for applying quality assurance and control programs. Integrates quality improvement activities and measures in overall service provision. Ensures that the proper safety measures are in place to protect customers and staff who participate in the training activities. Resource Management: Responsible for efficient and effective use of resources. Adheres to the financial and registration policy regarding unregistered students in Community classes. Communications/Reporting: Engages in regular communications with Training Specialist regarding course updates and latest changes to products/services. Actively submits unavailability requests, as necessary, in Skedulo when not available to be assigned to classes. Submits training activity and other course related records according to standard timelines. Where applicable, training and course-related records must be submitted electronically using the American Red Cross web-based learning center. The instructor is required to use the corporate email account (@Redcross.org) issued to him/her upon hire, for all American Red Cross related correspondence. Standard Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. Pay Information: The salary for this position is $18.35 an hour Note: that the American Red Cross sets salary ranges aligned to a specific geographic location in which the work is performed.
