Every day, Multnomah County staff work together to serve as a safety net for our communities. During a disaster, this safety net becomes even more critical. Position Description
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Salesforce and Data Evaluation Director is a critical member of the national operations team and plays a key role in ensuring the effectiveness of our growing organization. The Salesforce and Data Evaluation Director is responsible for leading ANY and its staff in using data to inform the development and implementation of ANY programs and services. The Director will own the collection, analysis, compliance, audit, dissemination and utilization of all ANY data and systems.
The Director will own the administration of ANY’s CRM database – Salesforce. The role will create, update, and manage Salesforce solutions that ensure the successful operation of all programs, will improve all user experiences, and ensure that all ANY staff can reliably and accurately collect and report programmatic data. Partner with senior leadership and program staff to establish evaluation priorities for all program areas and the organization overall
Salesforce Administration
Work closely with the COO and the national operations team to review operational processes, identify opportunities for automation, and prioritize and resolve technical issues
Develop CRM solutions to existing and new data collection and reporting challenges
Implement and refine various Salesforce solutions, custom objects and fields, forms, application forms, validation rules, page layouts, reports, dashboards, user account maintenance, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and email templates and triggers
Manage external platforms, apps, and projects that interact with ANY’s Salesforce CRM
Transition Salesforce processes to the new solution – Flows, and ensure all automation architecture and functions are updated
Oversee all Salesforce needs for FirstGenU including preparing and completing bulk uploads/edits as well as creating and managing a program dashboard.
Design mockups, test, and implement iterative User Interface (UI) improvements
Research customized and cost-effective solutions using the full Salesforce toolset and collaborate with internal teams as well as external developer to implement
Provide staff training and support; create training materials and training guides for staff
Employ strategies that achieve high data quality by reducing duplicate, incomplete, and orphaned records
Improve the security of the platform with effective access control solutions (roles, permissions, profiles, sharing rules)
Systems/Platforms and Vendor Management:
Develop and deliver regular trainings and testing to ensure ANY’s knowledge is on par with intermediate to advanced level utilization of all systems
Manage all vendor relationships, consultants for systems, and conduct sourcing, system upgrades and proposal development as needed for all existing and new systems
Provide day-to-day administration, user profile creation, license renewals, customization/architecture (adding new fields/formulas), template reports and troubleshooting, and updates for Salesforce, Classy, and all other data collection, evaluation, and survey tools
Recommend new solutions and execute organizational change as needed to utilize new platforms
Research and assess new software to increase organizational efficiency (i.e., collaborate with teams on finding better peer fundraising platform, file sharing system, etc.), manage software licenses/purchases/training (Adobe, iContact, etc.).
Identify, assess and analyze new organizational needs and find solutions to meet those needs.
Other:
Manage meetings, follow up, projects, and the management of ANY’s Data Committee
Attend Saturday workshops Quarterly

Intertek, a leading provider of ATIC (Assurance, Testing, Inspection, and Certification) Services, is looking for a Lead Testing Technician to join our Building & Construction team in Cleveland, OH .
What you’ll do:
Perform or assist with building enclosure performance field testing for curtain walls, windows, skylights air barriers, EIFS, and roof systems during mockup and construction
Perform construction quality inspections of building enclosure systems work at project sites, including below grade waterproofing, exterior walls, air barrier, masonry, metal panels, EIFS, curtain walls, windows, skylights and roofing systems for ongoing construction projects
Prepare reports for inspection and testing work
Create and maintain building construction documents
Work with Clients, Project Managers and Project teams to schedule inspections and testing
Coordinate testing and inspections schedule with equipment schedule and other department testing
Check calibration status of test equipment prior to testing. Read and be familiar with testing standards
Analyze test results and write accurate and concise test reports that summarize the test procedures and results using company templates
Communicate with senior project managers for internal QA review
Communicate with clients regarding test preparation, procedures, and results
Assist department admin in invoicing for all assigned projects
Learn test standards and test procedures (e.g., AAMA, ASTM, NFPA, etc.)
Maintain tools and equipment; inventory supplies; maintain cleanliness of work area
Assist in the sales and marketing of testing services to new and potential clients
Perform other work as required
What it takes to be successful in this role:
High School Diploma or GED, Degree in a technical field preferred
2-5 years of successful experience in building enclosure testing preferred
Knowledge and experience related to the construction of exterior building systems (i.e., waterproofing, masonry, metal panels, water drainage systems, windows, curtain walls and roofing systems).
Able to read and understand architectural and engineering drawings and specifications, as well as contractor shop drawings
Experience in construction, glazing, roofing or general construction, preferred
Must be technically competent to understand and communicate test procedures, specifications, and results and possess a mechanical aptitude
Must be familiar with Quality Assurance policies and procedures which relate to the control, storage, and disposition of test specimens
General construction/carpentry knowledge and experience using power tools preferred
Physical ability to routinely lift at least 50 pounds
Physical ability to sit, stand, crouch, bend, climb stairs and ladders, crawl, push, pull, etc. as required to perform job duties
Ability to follow directions and work with minimal supervision
Excellent customer service skills
Strong communication skills – both written and oral
Good computer skills using Word and Excel, and AutoCAD if applicable
Ability to travel as business needs dictates
Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record (required)

The Environmental Assessment Program (EAP) within the Department of Ecology is looking to fill a Hydrogeologist 4 position. This position is located in our Central Region Office (CRO) in Union Gap, WA. Upon hire, you must live within a commutable distance from the duty station.
In this role, you will plan, develop, direct, conduct and/or oversee hydrological/hydrogeological projects or investigations for surface water and/or groundwater investigations as well as supervise a technical group. You will be responsible for developing and implementing scientifically credible, well-coordinated Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL), surface water quantity and quality studies designed to meet multiple agency objectives involving the management and regulation of Eastern Washington freshwater resources. Duties
What makes this role unique and challenging?
You will serve as the senior hydrogeologist and project manager in the design and management of Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) water quality studies to identify and evaluate the fate and transport of point- and nonpoint-source pollution within the state, including complex river and lake systems, and complex groundwater/surface water interactions as well as supervises a technical group. You will manage and direct the Central Regional Office Unit staff, which conducts Surface water, Groundwater, Stream Biological Habitat Assessment, and Effectiveness Monitoring studies in support of the agency’s water cleanup efforts.
What you will do:
Plan, organize, conduct, and direct multiple major hydrologic and water quality field investigations evaluating the effects of point and non-point pollution sources on water quality in waters of the State. The investigations require an understanding and assessment of the hydrology, hydrogeology, water quality, and primary productivity of aquatic systems.
Serve as project manager of large, complex projects, set project objectives and plan/oversee the work of the project team, including other senior and junior staff, to reach the objectives on time and on budget. The project team typically collects and analyzes data on streamflow, water quality and other waterbody conditions. Trains project staff on the appropriate technical methods.
Research and select mathematical water quality and hydrologic models appropriate for the project objectives.
Analyze data by applying advanced statistical, water quality and hydrologic/hydrogeologic modeling techniques, and formulate and justify conclusions and recommendations.
Report status and results of water quality, hydrologic, hydrogeologic, and other studies and analyses to management, staff, public, and stakeholders in TMDL studies.
Direct and prepare publication of technical reports and present results to scientific audiences (e.g., conferences, universities, technical advisory groups). Draft reports are typically reviewed by external experts.
Defend scientific conclusions in legal setting if the report's conclusions are challenged on their technical merit.
Train other staff in surface water and hydrogeologic research and investigative techniques.
Qualifications

The Environmental Assessment Program (EAP) within the Department of Ecology is looking to fill a Hydrogeologist 4 position. This position is located in our Central Region Office (CRO) in Union Gap, WA. Upon hire, you must live within a commutable distance from the duty station.
In this role, you will plan, develop, direct, conduct and/or oversee hydrological/hydrogeological projects or investigations for surface water and/or groundwater investigations as well as supervise a technical group. You will be responsible for developing and implementing scientifically credible, well-coordinated Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL), surface water quantity and quality studies designed to meet multiple agency objectives involving the management and regulation of Eastern Washington freshwater resources. Duties
What makes this role unique and challenging?
You will serve as the senior hydrogeologist and project manager in the design and management of Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) water quality studies to identify and evaluate the fate and transport of point- and nonpoint-source pollution within the state, including complex river and lake systems, and complex groundwater/surface water interactions as well as supervises a technical group. You will manage and direct the Central Regional Office Unit staff, which conducts Surface water, Groundwater, Stream Biological Habitat Assessment, and Effectiveness Monitoring studies in support of the agency’s water cleanup efforts.
What you will do:
Plan, organize, conduct, and direct multiple major hydrologic and water quality field investigations evaluating the effects of point and non-point pollution sources on water quality in waters of the State. The investigations require an understanding and assessment of the hydrology, hydrogeology, water quality, and primary productivity of aquatic systems.
Serve as project manager of large, complex projects, set project objectives and plan/oversee the work of the project team, including other senior and junior staff, to reach the objectives on time and on budget. The project team typically collects and analyzes data on streamflow, water quality and other waterbody conditions. Trains project staff on the appropriate technical methods.
Research and select mathematical water quality and hydrologic models appropriate for the project objectives.
Analyze data by applying advanced statistical, water quality and hydrologic/hydrogeologic modeling techniques, and formulate and justify conclusions and recommendations.
Report status and results of water quality, hydrologic, hydrogeologic, and other studies and analyses to management, staff, public, and stakeholders in TMDL studies.
Direct and prepare publication of technical reports and present results to scientific audiences (e.g., conferences, universities, technical advisory groups). Draft reports are typically reviewed by external experts.
Defend scientific conclusions in legal setting if the report's conclusions are challenged on their technical merit.
Train other staff in surface water and hydrogeologic research and investigative techniques.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Option 1: A Bachelor’s degree involving a major study in hydrogeology, hydrology, geology, environmental, physical, or one of the natural sciences, or closely allied field AND Five years of professional experience as a hydrogeologist, hydrologist, geologist, or closely allied profession.
Option 2: A Master’s degree with a major study in hydrogeology, hydrology, geology, environmental, physical, or one of the natural sciences, or closely allied field AND Three years of professional experience as a hydrogeologist, hydrologist, geologist, or closely allied profession.
Option 3: A Ph.D. with a major study in hydrogeology, hydrology, geology, environmental, physical, or one of the natural sciences, or closely allied field AND Two years of professional experience as a hydrogeologist, hydrologist, geologist, or closely allied profession.

Duties
What makes this role unique and challenging?
You will serve as the senior hydrogeologist and project manager in the design and management of Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) water quality studies to identify and evaluate the fate and transport of point- and nonpoint-source pollution within the state, including complex river and lake systems, and complex groundwater/surface water interactions as well as supervises a technical group. You will manage and direct the Central Regional Office Unit staff, which conducts Surface water, Groundwater, Stream Biological Habitat Assessment, and Effectiveness Monitoring studies in support of the agency’s water cleanup efforts.
What you will do:
Plan, organize, conduct, and direct multiple major hydrologic and water quality field investigations evaluating the effects of point and non-point pollution sources on water quality in waters of the State. The investigations require an understanding and assessment of the hydrology, hydrogeology, water quality, and primary productivity of aquatic systems.
Serve as project manager of large, complex projects, set project objectives and plan/oversee the work of the project team, including other senior and junior staff, to reach the objectives on time and on budget. The project team typically collects and analyzes data on streamflow, water quality and other waterbody conditions. Trains project staff on the appropriate technical methods.
Research and select mathematical water quality and hydrologic models appropriate for the project objectives.
Analyze data by applying advanced statistical, water quality and hydrologic/hydrogeologic modeling techniques, and formulate and justify conclusions and recommendations.
Report status and results of water quality, hydrologic, hydrogeologic, and other studies and analyses to management, staff, public, and stakeholders in TMDL studies.
Direct and prepare publication of technical reports and present results to scientific audiences (e.g., conferences, universities, technical advisory groups). Draft reports are typically reviewed by external experts.
Defend scientific conclusions in legal setting if the report's conclusions are challenged on their technical merit.
Train other staff in surface water and hydrogeologic research and investigative techniques.

Option 1: A Bachelor’s degree involving a major study in hydrogeology, hydrology, geology, environmental, physical, or one of the natural sciences, or closely allied field AND Five years of professional experience as a hydrogeologist, hydrologist, geologist, or closely allied profession.

As one of the key positions within the Clark County Budget Office, the Senior Budget and Policy Analyst position is a vital part of the county’s overall budget cycle.
The budget preparation process includes four typical steps followed by public officials, both elected and appointed. These steps include the administrative preparation of the budget, the legislative approval of the budget, the financial implementation of the budget and the annual year-end accounting and financial reporting. What You’ll Be Doing
We are looking for a Director, Data Analytics to oversee our growing team of data experts. The successful incumbent will be responsible for training and mentoring staff to execute protocols and best practices to ensure accurate data collection, processing, modeling, and reporting.
You will oversee data analytics initiatives for projects that serve our utility, state, city, and federal clients. You will apply your deep knowledge of data analytics to help our employees and clients solve real-world problems, working across multiple projects, teams, and business units. You have an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for driving forward data-driven products and solutions.
You are an excellent communicator, love coaching team members, and are well-versed in project management best practices (e.g., agile, waterfall). You will work with the business unit Vice Presidents and our Vice President of Data Analytics to ensure replicability and scalability of our data solutions.
You will enable deployment of data analytics solutions across the full sales to delivery lifecycle, from business development to project execution. Your work will ultimately accelerate Cadmus’ ability to deliver decarbonization, clean energy, and resiliency solutions to clients across North America.
Successful candidates will work collaboratively with senior management and data analytics experts at Cadmus to provide the following:
Project execution
Serve as technical lead for cross-disciplinary projects using advanced data modeling and analytical techniques to discover insights and optimize results for our clients.
Support business development by crafting data analytics solutions and presenting those solutions to our clients, as needed. Staff coordination and coaching
Work in a matrix organization to coordinate staff planning of data analytics employees across a portfolio of projects.
Provide coaching and mentorship for data analytics employees.
Support recruiting efforts to build data analytics capabilities across the company.
Deploy data analytics protocols
Execute standards established by VP of Data Analytics for data collection, warehousing, modeling, and reporting across a portfolio of projects at Cadmus.
Train, develop, and coach employees to follow data analytics best practices.
Collaborate with senior leaders and staff to ensure quality assurance and quality control standards are applied across all our data analytics projects. Strategic planning
Anticipate future demands related to people and technology within the business unit and work with the VP of Data Analytics to develop those solutions.
Qualifications
BSc/BA in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Management, or a related field
5+ years of proven experience as an Analytics Manager or Data Scientist
Knowledge of SQL, R, Python, Databricks, or other relevant software; familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., PowerBI)
Superb verbal and written communication skills
Superb people and project management abilities, especially working in a matrix organization
Excellent problem-solving skills Preferred
Experience working in the utility or government sector
Management consulting experience
Experience with decarbonization, clean energy or resiliency is a plus
