The American Red Cross has a full time Calendar Planning Assistant II position open in our Madison, Wisconsin office.
In this role you be responsible for assisting with the development and maintenance of the Annual Recruitment/Collection Calendar for the region. Performs data analysis required to accurately track historic outcomes for operations as well as overall booking status into future months. Prepares reports used to assure operations are goaled with the highest probability outcomes possible. In addition, prepare other performance tracking reports as assigned. This role supports the logistics and planning for our blood drives. You will be helping to make sure our blood drives are correctly staffed and each have the equipment and vehicles to properly service our donors to support the mission of the Red Cross.
Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience required. Planning experience preferred. Requires excellent analytical and computer skills. Must be able to communicate effectively and plan and utilize time efficiently. Requires the use and knowledge of computers and software including but not limited to: Microsoft Word, Excel and Access.
1. Assists the Calendar Manager with the production planning review process to include coordination of agendas and preparation of trend reports to help establish appropriate final goal, staffing and equipment decisions for each operation.
2. Reviews, monitors and approves drive additions and changes to the regional calendar based on established guidelines.
3. May provide detailed planning information to other departments to assure optimal coordination between calendar planning, scheduling and logistical support as assigned.
Pay - $16-17 an hour.
Schedule - M-F from 7:30am -4pm.
