Job Purpose
Institutional Research Data Architect designs systems for and manages complex data to support the data-driven decision-making functions of the institution. This position serves to support the Office of Institutional Research in providing a first-class reporting structure for national and state accountability reporting including IPEDS and SC CHE . The Office of Institutional Research serves a critical function for the College of Charleston in providing data to senior administrators, the College community, and external agencies.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, mathematics/statistics, engineering, management information science, data processing or related field and experience with Tableau, Cognos/Argos, SQL , and/or SAS is required. Experience with data mining, including techniques of data extraction, documentation, analysis, and reporting is required. Experience working in a higher education environment is preferred. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Required:
Experience with Tableau, Cognos/Argos, SQL , and/or SAS . Advanced SAS programming experience is preferred.
Working knowledge and practitioner of methods and techniques of data extraction, documentation, analysis, and reporting.
Proficiency with MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint and PowerPoint.
Knowledge and understanding of the data and information that is important to an academic institution.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and to communicate effectively.
Must be able to work well under strict deadlines and have exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects with shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Must understand the significance of maintaining data integrity and confidentially with student records; knowledge of and adherence to FERPA regulations.
Preferred:
Exceptional organizational skills and experience managing and documenting complex projects.
Knowledge of higher education information systems such as Ellucian Banner and related data systems and repositories such as Salesforce, IPEDS , US News, and CSRDE .
Additional Comments Regarding Position
Limited overnight travel may be required to attend professional development conferences and meetings. Job Purpose
The Director of Sustainability provides guidance and vision for the Center for Sustainable Development ( CSD ) by fulfilling the College’s goal of fostering a culture of innovation to support sustainable solutions. This position is responsible for strategic development and operational management of the CSD . This position manages the Associate Director, Zero Waste Manager, as well as well as student graduate assistants and interns that work in the office. The Center for Sustainable Development Manager will work closely with stakeholders across the organization and community, as well as the other department heads within Facilities Management.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree related to environmental science, environmental studies, sustainability or directly related fields and three (3) to five (5) years of work experience leading sustainability initiatives for a large organization. Master’s degree related to environmental science, environmental studies, sustainability or directly related field is preferred. Proven experience in higher education leading sustainability programming is desired. LEED Accredited Professional or closely related sustainability credentials is also preferred. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply.

Must have advanced knowledge and proficiency of the various aspects of sustainability on a large college campus. A demonstrated ability to identify and formulate long-term sustainability direction and goals with the ability to translate these long-term goals into short-term action items and operational activities is required. A cooperative and collaborative leadership style that emphasizes inclusion, integrity, honesty, openness and fairness is required. Must have leadership and management experience and skills focused around program development and execution, as well as, demonstrated ability to work across silos and between multiple entities to achieve stated goals or objectives is required. Strong customer service orientation and a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships throughout the College with a diverse student body, faculty, staff and the Charleston community is also required. Keeping Washington Clean and Evergreen The Human Resources Office (HRO) within the Department of Ecology is looking to fill an HR Tech Consultant (Human Resource Consultant Assistant 2) position. This position is located in our Headquarters Office in Lacey, WA . Upon hire, you must live within a commutable distance from the duty station. This position is a member of the Human Resource Technical Team, that monitors and maintains Human Resource Management System (HRMS) data entry, as well as administers protected leave programs. Duties
What makes this role unique? You will assist your team members on the Technical Team to ensure we are receiving all necessary new hire paperwork for new employees, and for any internal movement actions for existing Ecology employees. You will help complete student loan forgiveness forms, verifications of employment forms, some inquiries from the Employment Security Department, assist with HRMS entry for select actions, and help to ensure our central files are up-to-date and maintained. What you will do:
Manage the onboarding paperwork for Washington Conservation Corps (WCC) and Ecology Youth Corps (EYC) members, by accurately entering new/rehires and separations into in the Human Resource Management System (HRMS), complete Personnel Action Forms (PA40’s) for EYC crew members and submit paperwork to our payroll partners.
Track paperwork for all Ecology hires, to ensure we are receiving all necessary new hire forms. These forms include employee information, affirmative action and demographics, I-9, new employee checklists, and emergency contact.
Complete Public Service Loan Forgiveness forms as they are received.
Receive and complete employment verifications received via telephone, fax, email, or mail by verifying employment of current or former employees in a timely manner. Process and complete necessary forms or letters, providing our payroll partners with the necessary forms to complete the request.
Assist in maintaining up-to-date position and personnel files. This includes printing completed, approved paperwork, and filing them in the appropriate place in the correct file.

Required Qualifications: Years of required experience indicated below are full-time equivalent years. Full-time equivalent experience means that any experience where working hours were less than 40 hours per week will be prorated in order to meet the equivalency of full-time. Duties
What makes this role unique?
In this role you will, organize and effectively prioritize multiple competing tasks and have the opportunity to work on fast paced issues which are part of the Governor’s key priorities. You will be part of and support a team with diverse skills and expertise to further our environmental mission. What you will do: Maintain confidentiality and keep managers informed of significant issues.
Assist with time management by working closely with managers to ensure that calendars are kept up to date and accurate.
Independently organize the hiring process including: setting up interviews, compiling and distributing interview packets, and escorting interviewees.

Coordinate travel arrangements and agency-required documentation for managers and staff as needed for attendance at meetings, conferences and training, both in and out-of-state.
Independently coordinate preparation, proofreading, signatures, and packaging of documents, including reports, for manager and Ecology executive management briefing and/or approval.
Complete and process internal and external correspondence, including typing, proofreading/formatting, distributing, and filing documents reflecting agency standards to ensure it is clear and concise.

Duties
What makes this role unique?
In this role you will, organize and effectively prioritize multiple competing tasks and have the opportunity to work on fast paced issues which are part of the Governor’s key priorities. You will be part of and support a team with diverse skills and expertise to further our environmental mission. What you will do: Maintain confidentiality and keep managers informed of significant issues.
Assist with time management by working closely with managers to ensure that calendars are kept up to date and accurate.
Independently organize the hiring process including: setting up interviews, compiling and distributing interview packets, and escorting interviewees.
Assist with onboarding of new staff in a timely and effective manner including ensuring that necessary paperwork for new hires is fully completed.
Organize and coordinate the Air Quality All-Staff meeting and other similar program wide meetings.
Coordinate travel arrangements and agency-required documentation for managers and staff as needed for attendance at meetings, conferences and training, both in and out-of-state.
Independently coordinate preparation, proofreading, signatures, and packaging of documents, including reports, for manager and Ecology executive management briefing and/or approval.
Complete and process internal and external correspondence, including typing, proofreading/formatting, distributing, and filing documents reflecting agency standards to ensure it is clear and concise.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications: Years of required experience indicated below are full-time equivalent years. Full-time equivalent experience means that any experience where working hours were less than 40 hours per week will be prorated in order to meet the equivalency of full-time. POSITION SUMMARY:

Update Casewatch eligibility every 6 months as required by the DHSP Program.
Ensure that all eligible patients under the RW Program sign the service agreement form required by DHSP; the following documents are required: Proof of Income, Proof of Residency, Current Diagnosis Form ( Lab work for established patients)

Act as the petty cash custodian for the dental clinic under the supervision of the Dental Clinic Manager.

Duties
What makes this role unique?
As our first point of contact, you will manage the front lobby area and our main Ecology phone line, responding to general inquiries from the public in both English and Spanish, government agencies and staff, both in person and over the phone so you will need to be able to multi-task while maintaining a high level of professionalism. You will engage with Ecology’s ten environmental programs and make determinations on directing inquiries. You’ll be responsible for coordinating emergency personnel (i.e. fire, police and medical) that come to the building in response to an emergency, serving as the first line of security for the Central Region Office. What you will do:
Use a multi-functional telephone with five incoming lines.
Process outgoing and incoming mail.
Direct customers to appropriate staff for assistance, handling multiple forms of communication simultaneously, and providing courteous customer service.
Use agency standard computer and computer software to:
Create, maintain, and print documents.
Access information on the web page.
Communicate through electronic mail.
Access the calendar and schedule time.
Schedule conference rooms.
Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with co-workers, agency staff, private sector and other government agencies. Maintain effective working relationships.
Participate in group processes and on teams.
Provide positive, accurate and pleasant customer service to external clients.
Take accurate messages and forward messages to the appropriate personnel.
Perform clerical support duties including but not limited to creating emails, typing letters, making copies, and scheduling meetings for the Region’s Business Administrator and other staff.
Research and produce copies of well logs for customers.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications: Years of required experience indicated below are full-time equivalent years. Full-time equivalent experience means that any experience where working hours were less than 40 hours per week will be prorated in order to meet the equivalency of full-time. We would calculate this by looking at the total hours worked per week, divide this by 40, and then multiply by the total number of months worked. Examples of the proration calculations are:
30 hours worked per week for 20 months: (30/40) x 20 months = 15 months full-time equivalent
20 hours worked per week for 12 months: (20/40) x 12 months = 6 months full-time equivalent
Experience for both required and desired qualifications can be gained through various combinations of formal professional employment, education, and volunteer experience. Senior Specialist (Accounts Receivable), Arabella Finance (Durham, NC or Washington, DC)
Arabella Advisors seeks a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our Corporate Finance team. The position reports to the Accounting Manager and will be responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of accounts receivable information. We need you to be highly organized, and detail and deadline-oriented with a demonstrated ability to manage several projects simultaneously. The right candidate has outstanding client service skills, operates independently with minimal direction and enjoys working in a fast paced, mission driven environment.
Essential Responsibilities
Manage Accounts Receivable processes including client intake, weekly and monthly invoicing, credit memo, and monthly reporting
Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve collections issues
Monitor project costs
Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate month-end close procedures including preparation of accounts receivable related GL reconciliations
Assist with preparation of annual audit reconciliations and schedules
Assist the Assistant Controller and the Accounting Manager with special projects
Support General Accounting function
To Be Successful in This Role, You’ll Need
Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or other related field, or equivalent level of experience (5 years of experience without an Associate's degree)
4+ years of relevant professional experience
Understanding of accounting principles including accrual accounting
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word)
A strong worth ethic; be well-organized and a self-starter
A solid analytical and problem-solving skillset
A drive to raise process efficiency issues and collaborate with team members to implement solutions
Excellent verbal and written communication, including the ability to report on complex data in an easily understandable manner

Travel Requirements:

What makes this role unique?
In this role, you will support our dynamic AmeriCorps program through complex timekeeping audits and file administration for 300 AmeriCorps members annually. Lead member criminal history and driving record checks, including payment to vendors and routing assistant supervisor onboarding material.
Process timely AmeriCorps member enrollment and exit paperwork, and serve as lead on member early exits and pro-rated awards.
Administer WCC member health insurance program and process WCC credit card logs and personal reimbursement vouchers.
Create and update spreadsheets to track and report on staff paperwork submission, error tracking, and member progress.
Develop forms, templates, and guidance for use by WCC field staff in partnership with Ecology’s fiscal office.

Under the direction of the Director of Finance and Administration, carry out daily/weekly/monthly bookkeeping and accounting activities: o Accounts payable, cash receipts, and credit card transactions. o Bank and credit card reconciliations. o Process semi-monthly payroll. o Invoicing for grants and program service fees. o Journal entries. o Month-end closing procedure. o Quarterly and annual taxes and 1099s. o Monthly and quarterly general ledger account reconciliations. o Maintain accounting and financial files.
Assist with financial reporting as requested.
Assist with budget and audit preparation as requested.
Assist with benefit administration and onboarding new staff
Order and track organization’s ORCA cards, keys, and keycards.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
AA degree in accounting or related discipline, or a comparable combination of education and experience. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in bookkeeping and accounting for nonprofit organizations is preferred, including account analysis and reconciliations.
Must be highly organized, analytical, detail-oriented, and able to multitask, meet deadlines, balance priorities, and follow through on assigned tasks to completion.
Experience with QuickBooks Desktop is preferred.
Strong data entry skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills; ability to maintain a positive, professional, and service-oriented demeanor toward a variety of stakeholders.
Experience with, and/or commitment to having, race equity, social justice, and cultural competence be a workplace priority.
