Job Purpose:
The University of Wyoming is accepting applications for the position of Director of Sports Medicine. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the Sports Medicine department for a successful DI (FBS) athletic program. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Recruiting, hiring, onboarding, supervising and evaluating a large staff of associate/assistant athletic trainers and student support staff (e.g., interns, volunteers, etc.);
Providing and coordinating a high level of athletic healthcare services for assigned team(s) to include prevention, evaluation, treatment, and short-term and long-term rehabilitation of athletic injuries (anticipated team coverage is men’s and women’s golf or men’s and women’s cross country),

Communicating and working in partnership with applicable coaching staffs and the multi-disciplinary team (e.g., Sports Medicine, Student-Athlete Well-Being, Sports Nutrition, Sports Performance, etc.) to provide an integrated program of year-round injury prevention and rehabilitation for applicable student-athletes.
Coordinating all home and away coverage for appropriate student-athlete athletic activities (e.g., contests, practices, workouts, etc.).
Developing appropriate policies and procedures;
Monitoring of all expenditures to ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines;
Communicating problems, issues and program improvement ideas involving the sports medicine area to immediate supervisor in a timely manner.
Coordinating the student-athlete drug-testing program; and
Performing other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics/Designee.
The successful candidate will coordinate the care for approximately 400 student-athletes and serve as the primary athletic trainer for men’s and women’s cross country or men’s and women’s golf. The projected start date for this position is July 1, 2024. The position will remain open until filled. This is a full-time (12 month), benefited position with a posted salary of $100,000/commensurate with experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree in athletic training, health science, or related field
BOC Certified Athletic Trainer
Current state of Wyoming licensure or within 60 days of starting the position
BLS Certification
A minimum of five (5) years of full-time collegiate and/or professional experience (minimum of three (3) of those years at the Division I level) in the sports medicine field

Assistant Health Supervisor General Duties: Working under the regular supervision of the Camp Health Supervisor, Camp Director and the technical supervision of a licensed physician who is on call, the Assistant Health Supervisor provides health services for Sky High Ranch. A primary function of this, and every other job at the Sky High Ranch, is to ensure that each member, guest and visitor receives the highest caliber of service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise the care of all cases of illness and accident to campers and staff.
Implement health and emergency procedures as written in Colorado Council's Health Supervisor's Manual, Medical Standing Orders, and in accordance with Girl Scouts, Colorado Department of Health & Child Protective Services and American Camp Association (ACA) standards.
Maintain routine and emergency health procedures in consultation with the camp director, camp health supervisor and in keeping with established guidelines.
Provide care for campers and staff who are confined to the health center, including meals, rest, nursing care and supervision.
Administer first-aid care, going to other locations on site as needed.
Instruct counseling and program staff in their health responsibilities, specifically reviewing first-aid procedures most likely to occur in their areas of activity.
Arrange for medical advice and treatment according to procedures.
Transport patients to health care facilities. Give instructions to others who may transport campers. Make emergency transportation arrangements when required.
Talk to parents to obtain health and treatment information and to inform them when medications, trips to health facilities or overnights in the health center are necessary.
Maintain good relationships with health and emergency service providers and the public.
Keep the camp health supervisor and camp director informed of all cases of illness and/or injury, the need for medical transportation and of all persons who stay at the health center.
Work in conjunction with Program Counselors, CITs, PAs, and Volunteers providing adequate support.
Demonstrate a recognition and understanding of good customer service in all dealings and interactions as an employee of Girl Scouts of Colorado by maintaining constructive relationships with co-workers, members, parents, volunteers, and the community.
Talk to parents to share information, to get input, to reassure them and to promote a positive image of camp.
Provide support to volunteer staff as needed.
Operate the health center and maintain supplies and equipment.
Implement procedures for dispensing routine medications and charting of all medication.
Arrange for qualified health center and first aid coverage when on time off or out of camp. Instruct qualified first aides as health center backups.
Prepare first-aid kits for specified permanent areas and for checkout. Resupply weekly during the season.
Follow up to assure campers receive medications as directed. Follow up on treatment.
Always maintain the health center and personal living quarters in clean and presentable condition.
Supervise the general health and safety of campers and staff.
Review health history and health examination records for all campers and staff, making sure that required consents are signed.
Contact parents/guardians if important information is missing.
Inform cabin staff in writing of health conditions and the needs of campers in their care.
Collect, safeguard, and administer medications for campers. Return camper medications at session end.
Consult with and advise campers and staff about health problems.
Screen the physical condition of campers and staff as directed in the Medical Standing Orders within 24 hours of arrival at camp and before specific activities.
Inspect sanitation and safety practices throughout the camp at least weekly. Submit written reports to the camp health supervisor.
Advise staff on accommodations for special needs.
Complete written reports.
Submit completed injury and illness reports to the camp health supervisor immediately after each occurrence and camper forms at the end of each session.
Record treatment of campers in a daily log. Include routine medications and treatment.
Submit supply and equipment requisitions according to schedule.
Work with camp health supervisor to submit properly completed insurance claim forms as directed immediately after each occurrence.
Collect first-aid report forms from all unit and activity first-aid kits and record them in the logbook weekly.
Send written first-aid or illness reports home with campers.
Prepare accurate inventories and reports. Submit written recommendations.
Make written recommendations for supply needs, changes in general procedures and about site hazards.
Participate as a professional member of the total staff in providing effective staff service in all aspects of this job.
Present a positive image to parents and visitors through attitude, dress, and courtesy.
Perform other duties to foster a cooperative climate and a smoothly operating camp.
Participate in pre-camp and in-service training, attend staff meetings, and contribute to the planning and coordinating of the work of the total staff team.
Keep such records and files as are necessary to carry out the job.
Participate in supervisory conferences and in the staff evaluation process.
Respect the confidential nature of all information pertaining to staff, volunteers, and campers.
Assist in supervising campers at meals and all-camp activities.
Attend and participate in other camp programs such as campfires and activities.

Assistant Health Supervisor General Duties: Working under the regular supervision of the Camp Health Supervisor, Camp Director and the technical supervision of a licensed physician who is on call, the Assistant Health Supervisor provides health services for Sky High Ranch. A primary function of this, and every other job at the Sky High Ranch, is to ensure that each member, guest and visitor receives the highest caliber of service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise the care of all cases of illness and accident to campers and staff.
Implement health and emergency procedures as written in Colorado Council's Health Supervisor's Manual, Medical Standing Orders, and in accordance with Girl Scouts, Colorado Department of Health & Child Protective Services and American Camp Association (ACA) standards.
Maintain routine and emergency health procedures in consultation with the camp director, camp health supervisor and in keeping with established guidelines.

Inspect sanitation and safety practices throughout the camp at least weekly. Submit written reports to the camp health supervisor.
Advise staff on accommodations for special needs.
Complete written reports.
Submit completed injury and illness reports to the camp health supervisor immediately after each occurrence and camper forms at the end of each session.
Record treatment of campers in a daily log. Include routine medications and treatment.
Submit supply and equipment requisitions according to schedule.
Work with camp health supervisor to submit properly completed insurance claim forms as directed immediately after each occurrence.

What you will do! You will work at Sunset Bay State Park near Coos Bay, Oregon. This recruitment is for one, full-time, permanent position and may be used to fill future vacancies as they occur. This is a Management Service position that exercises supervisory authority over assigned staff. The following duties may be performed, but are not limited to:
Project/Program Management (50%)
Conduct boundary inspections for trespass violations; inspect properties for negative impacts to natural and cultural resources.
Maintain an appropriate inventory of maintenance and operations supplies and materials.
Write materials or work specifications, obtain quotations, purchase materials or authorize work based upon state purchasing policy.
Dispose of surplus property by following approved procedures.
Develop specific plans, including: employee, material, equipment and budget needs, for the completion of all management unit projects and programs.
Provide opportunities for and actively seek volunteer participation in park maintenance and operations projects and visitor services programs. Work with Friends groups, Partners-in Parks, camp hosts, extended service hosts and volunteer individuals or groups to supplement paid staff. Research and promote the most efficient and cost-effective methods of park maintenance and operations while insuring that OPRD maintenance standards are met on all facilities and properties. Oversee difficult or complex assignments in landscape maintenance, facility and utility system maintenance, repair and rehabilitation and new construction. Such assignments may require blueprint and contract reading, carpentry, plumbing, electrical wiring, masonry, asphalting, painting and other construction knowledge or skills.
Work with the district manager and OPRD staff to effectively manage natural and cultural resources within OPRD guidelines and in a manner which will protect resource values, especially native plants and rare, threatened and endangered species, significant wetlands, and cultural or historic properties contained on park lands within the Sunset Bay Management Unit.
Inspect park properties and facilities to identify potential hazards; take appropriate and necessary measures to eliminate or mitigate hazards.
Insure that data and photographs concerning assets and projects in OPRIS is current.
Use OPRIS as a planning and scheduling tool for maintenance and construction activities within the Sunset Bay Management Unit.

Staff Supervision (30%)
Directly plan and supervise the maintenance, operation and interpretation, rehabilitation and construction activities for all park properties within the management unit. Project/Program Management (50%)

Oversee difficult or complex assignments in landscape maintenance, facility and utility system maintenance, repair and rehabilitation and new construction. Such assignments may require blueprint and contract reading, carpentry, plumbing, electrical wiring, masonry, asphalting, painting and other construction knowledge or skills.
Work with the district manager and OPRD staff to effectively manage natural and cultural resources within OPRD guidelines and in a manner which will protect resource values, especially native plants and rare, threatened and endangered species, significant wetlands, and cultural or historic properties contained on park lands within the Sunset Bay Management Unit.
Inspect park properties and facilities to identify potential hazards; take appropriate and necessary measures to eliminate or mitigate hazards.
Insure that data and photographs concerning assets and projects in OPRIS is current.
Use OPRIS as a planning and scheduling tool for maintenance and construction activities within the Sunset Bay Management Unit.
Insure that completed maintenance and construction activity data is entered in OPRIS.

Staff Supervision (30%)
Directly plan and supervise the maintenance, operation and interpretation, rehabilitation and construction activities for all park properties within the management unit. Crews may consist of permanent, seasonal, and/or temporary State Park employees, Oregon Youth Corps, Department of Corrections inmates, juvenile inmates, court appointed volunteers, private employment agency clients, cooperating association members and other group or individual volunteers.Specific duties may include: Prioritizing the tasks to be accomplished and planning the means for their accomplishment; developing work schedules and assigning and reassigning tasks to accomplish prescribed work; giving direction concerning work procedures and transmitting established standards of performance to workers or team leaders; insuring that materials and equipment to complete the tasks are on hand; reviewing work of employees for conformance to standards and assessing workers' performance.

Hope College is seeking the next Mary Riepma Ross Director of Special Collections, an endowed, 11 month non-tenure track faculty position within the library. Reporting to the Dean of Libraries, this position is responsible for the management of physical and financial resources, planning and implementation of programming and policies, teaching, community outreach and security of archival and rare book collections. The Archivist ensures that the collections represent the broadest possible spectrum of viewpoints and human experience in accordance with Hope’s commitment to equity and inclusion.
Special Collections at Hope College include the Joint Archives of Holland, and the Van Wylen Library Rare Books Collection . The Archives is housed in the Theil Research Center on Hope College’s campus. It serves as a regional center for local history research, specializing in Hope College, the history of the Dutch in America and the Holland, Michigan, area. The Archives has a strong record of mentoring undergraduate research and writing. The collections include works and writings from Hope College students and faculty, records from administrative offices, photographs, recordings, and videos documenting the history of the College from 1866 to present, the community of Holland, and Reformed Church in America missionaries. It currently shares the building with the Van Raalte Institute . ArchiveSpace was implemented in 2021 and many of the digitized materials are held in Digital Commons and in Artstor Public Collections , two online repositories. As a member of the library staff, this position works closely with nine faculty librarians and serves on the Library Leadership Team.
The Rare Books Collection at Van Wylen LIbrary, contains many rare Bibles, and volumes related to art, religion, Dutch history, Asian history and the history of science and aspires to be illustrative of the history of books and print culture.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for all aspects of the Archives’ development, including implementing the program, mission statement and collections policy, and representing the Joint Archives in the community.
Provide reference and research assistance to students, faculty, staff, alumni, and outside researchers using archives and rare book materials.
Provide course-integrated instruction to college classes and collaborate with faculty on the integration of special collections into the college curriculum.
Develop processing priorities for the archival collections of Hope College and Western Theological Seminary and oversee their principle processing and management.
Work with potential and past donors to collect archival materials and evaluate potential gifts of rare books.

Hope College is seeking the next Mary Riepma Ross Director of Special Collections, an endowed, 11 month non-tenure track faculty position within the library. Reporting to the Dean of Libraries, this position is responsible for the management of physical and financial resources, planning and implementation of programming and policies, teaching, community outreach and security of archival and rare book collections. The Archivist ensures that the collections represent the broadest possible spectrum of viewpoints and human experience in accordance with Hope’s commitment to equity and inclusion.
Special Collections at Hope College include the Joint Archives of Holland, and the Van Wylen Library Rare Books Collection . The Archives is housed in the Theil Research Center on Hope College’s campus. It serves as a regional center for local history research, specializing in Hope College, the history of the Dutch in America and the Holland, Michigan, area. The Archives has a strong record of mentoring undergraduate research and writing. Develop processing priorities for the archival collections of Hope College and Western Theological Seminary and oversee their principle processing and management.

The Assistant Site Director will assist with all day to day operations for all programs assigned and report directly to the Community Center Site Director.
Responsible for adhering to Community Services Foundation (CSF) and management company established guidelines and regulations.
