The Department Information Systems Coordinator (DISC) provides technical assistance and support to the Sheriff’s Office, Jail Services, and other local law enforcement agencies in planning, developing, and operating a regional law enforcement information network. This position will work directly within Clark County Information Technology (IT) and collaborate with Clark County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) management, with key responsibilities of overseeing database and application technologies used in reporting; optimizing systems for information analysis; and coordinating related enforcement activities among multiple agencies. (I.E. – SSRS reports) • Analyze data and create reports (I.E. – SSRS or other required formats for presentations) as needed for customers. • Monitor and track inventory of law enforcement hardware and software including laptops, projectors, etc. • Assist in the development of short-term and long-term strategic planning for the law enforcement IS support unit. • Research, suggest, design, validate, and deploy new law enforcement and mobile related technology. Minimum Qualifications
Four years experience doing administrative research that included compiling and evaluating facts to recommend management action, or decide compliance with program guidelines and regulations. Two of the four years must be above the technical support level.
Note: college-level course work may substitute for experience on the basis of 45-quarter units per year, up to a maximum of three years. (Applicable Associate’s degrees equal 2 years of substitution, a Bachelor’s or higher degree will equal 3 years of substitution.)

JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Reporting to the senior associate director of LISCC, the assistant director serves as the co-chair for the Large Institution Supervisory Coordinating Committee (LISCC) Recovery and Resolution Preparedness (RRP) Program. The RRP Program, which the assistant director leads, is focused on the LISCC firms’ preparedness to recover from a deep stress or enter into a resolution, and, in turn, the Federal Reserve’s responsibilities should that occur. The review of preparedness is achieved through staff assessments of firms’ capabilities as well as the development of the Federal Reserve’s own analytical and operational preparation for a LISCC firm that is in deep stress or needs to be resolved. In addition, domestic and international regulatory coordination is a centerpiece of RRP because of the complexity of operations and cross-border presence of the LISCC firms. Duties for this role include the following: 1.
