America Votes is seeking a talented staff or project manager and mid-senior campaign strategist for a full-time position as Arizona Deputy State Director. The Deputy State Director will take a strategic, collaborative, and flexible approach to their work with the state coalition and the coordination of strategies between state based partner organizations and national partners. The position will have responsibility in supporting the scale-up, direct support, and coordination of canvass operations. They will work with the America Votes team in Arizona and will support advancing team priorities and goals, with direct management responsibilities. Responsibilities
Campaign Planning & Leadership : Facilitate innovative and creative solutions to challenges related to electoral and issue campaigns, short- and long-term campaign planning for statewide and ballot level electoral and voter education plans. Create transparency to support evaluation, troubleshooting, effectiveness, and efficiency in progress towards goals. Facilitate ongoing conversations and collective actionable steps toward equity in the work of the coalition and partner members.
Coalition Coordination: Plan and facilitate regular coalition meetings for organizations to create and share plans as well as progress toward goals; identify problems and new opportunities toward winning elections and advancing advocacy goals. Directly manage and provide leadership in the state with the development, implementation, and analysis of state campaign plans, with an emphasis on direct voter contact programs. Support state director in coalition work including in approaching campaign, electoral, and coalition work through a lens of racial equity. Model principles of equity, diversity and inclusion internally and externally. Be culturally competent and support work to build power with BIPOC-led and focused partners.
Staff Management: Ensure a safe, welcoming, cohesive, and inspiring team culture for staff to excel in; Role model and uphold the organization's values of creating an inclusive and equitable working environment for all members of the team.
Project Management: Support the state director in implementing America Votes' organizational goals. Support team creation of work plans and team benchmarks for success. Manage special projects to deliver on team goals, both internal and external.
Partner Campaign Support: Advocate for partner organizations and elevate quality programs in the state, assist organizations in identifying potential resources, and move resources to partner groups whenever possible. Support organizational and team focus on quality service to partners and stakeholders Lead, organize, and facilitate coordinated and/or collaborative partner events, including coalition meetings, training and direct voter contact activities. Develop and execute training curriculums to advance the partner's program, as well as create and organize resources. Support program implementation through the voter file and other related tools including basic VAN administration.
Product Creation : Lead and support the creation and development of written reports and products to tell the story of Arizona and support the coalition. Lead the development of content for reports and presentations for a diverse audience of stakeholders. Deliver presentations to stakeholders, sometimes on short timelines.

Qualifications Required
Ideal candidates will have a minimum 5+ years experience in progressive political campaigns with at least 1 cycle of statewide experience, or similar transferable experience and three years' project management or staff management experience, including a track record of fostering a collaborative environment and consistent feedback.
Expertise in electoral field program management, including outstanding organizing skills and the ability to write, evaluate, and execute winning campaign plans with a strong direct voter contact component.
Experience working with underrepresented and/or historically marginalized communities, particularly in political and organizing settings.
Demonstrated ability to build consensus, negotiate, and strategically disagree within a highly collaborative work environment; ability to be respected by progressive stakeholders, to be trusted to lead and to be able to practice confidentiality, discretion, and legal compliance in the work.
Demonstrated ability to recognize the strengths of others; to coach, manage, and develop them as professionals; and to exemplify a people-management style that is results-oriented, inclusive, collaborative, and respectful.
Strong sense of ownership and resilience with respect to planning ahead, finding alternative paths when needed, and moving forward after setbacks.

Ability to travel within the state (as needed); ability to work irregular and campaign style hours, especially during the peak months of the electoral cycle. Candidates should have a spirit of service and curiosity, along with a diplomatic, professional approach to problem-solving in work with outside partners and while working internally, independently or on a team.
Ability to lead and support the creation and development of written reports and products to tell the story of Arizona and support the coalition. Ability to understand and synthesize data, using it to inform strategy and problem solve across diverse audiences.

Compensation
Salary range is $80,000 - $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience. ,

What you will do! The Data Equity Business Analyst (OPA3) will work within a Data Equity team that works in partnership with HPA data analysis and reporting teams, and teams from the Equity and Inclusion Division (E&I) and the Office of Information Services (OIS). These teams work together to create and maintain analytical processes for the collection and storage of data for race, ethnicity, language and disability (REALD) and sexual orientation and gender identity (SOGI) in the REALD & SOGI data repository/information system, and the development of external reporting and data sharing processes that include and use REALD & SOGI data for the purpose of detecting and addressing inequitable health outcomes across REALD & SOGI disadvantaged populations. The HPA Data Equity team will a) develop documentation and business rules for REALD and SOGI data collection, b) fulfill HPA’s requests for REALD& SOGI repository data by querying and matching repository data, merging and sharing datasets, c) support an agency wide REALD &SOGI data governance committee, d) establish data use and sharing processes with internal and external partners and organizations that follow confidentiality and privacy laws, and e) build and maintain relationships with interested parties.
The purpose of this Business Analyst position is A) to lead business analysis and technology initiatives and activities in support of House Bill 3159 and the legislatively mandated implementation of a statewide REALD &SOGI data repository / information system, and B) to lead and ensure effective analysis and implementation of data and business initiatives for the HPA Data Equity REALD/ SOGI program. These initiatives usually involve business transformation and information technologies and are critical to support the agency’s mission and health equity and strategic goals. Other key responsibilities for this position include:
Providing specialized REALD& SOGI and data equity expertise and assistance to HPA research, data and analytics teams, and other OHA business and IT programs.
Documenting HB 3159 REALD and SOGI business and data requirements and data integration processes, providing requirements and validation for data reports, and developing methodologies for estimating data quality and completeness.
The position requires strong project management, analytical and interpersonal skills, and poise. The incumbent will have a substantial amount of autonomy requiring exceptional skills in self-direction, as well as navigating complex situations and competing demands. Issues and recommendations within the purview of this position will be highly visible and potentially controversial to OHA and ODHS Leadership, health care constituents, state agencies, external organizations, and the Governor's Office. The results of this work will affect significant levels of OHA operations and have far reaching implications for community-based committees and other groups interested in the reporting of REALD & SOGI data.

Work Location: Optional 100% remote, 100% in-person or hybrid options are available, with office space available in Salem or Portland. What you will do! The Data Equity Business Analyst (OPA3) will work within a Data Equity team that works in partnership with HPA data analysis and reporting teams, and teams from the Equity and Inclusion Division (E&I) and the Office of Information Services (OIS). These teams work together to create and maintain analytical processes for the collection and storage of data for race, ethnicity, language and disability (REALD) and sexual orientation and gender identity (SOGI) in the REALD & SOGI data repository/information system, and the development of external reporting and data sharing processes that include and use REALD & SOGI data for the purpose of detecting and addressing inequitable health outcomes across REALD & SOGI disadvantaged populations. The purpose of this Business Analyst position is A) to lead business analysis and technology initiatives and activities in support of House Bill 3159 and the legislatively mandated implementation of a statewide REALD &SOGI data repository / information system, and B) to lead and ensure effective analysis and implementation of data and business initiatives for the HPA Data Equity REALD/ SOGI program. These initiatives usually involve business transformation and information technologies and are critical to support the agency’s mission and health equity and strategic goals. Other key responsibilities for this position include:
Providing specialized REALD& SOGI and data equity expertise and assistance to HPA research, data and analytics teams, and other OHA business and IT programs.
Documenting HB 3159 REALD and SOGI business and data requirements and data integration processes, providing requirements and validation for data reports, and developing methodologies for estimating data quality and completeness.
The position requires strong project management, analytical and interpersonal skills, and poise. The incumbent will have a substantial amount of autonomy requiring exceptional skills in self-direction, as well as navigating complex situations and competing demands. Position Summary:
The Education Specialist (ES) will complete specialized tasks to facilitate logistics, volunteer operations, content development, and other functions under the direction and assignment of the Education Leadership team.
The ES assigned to logistics will handle day-to-day scheduling operations of school outreach and field trip programs. They are the primary communicator between LLPA and schools.
The ES assigned to content development will write interpretive signs, develop curriculum, and review and create other educational content. They will keep up with innovative best practices in the field of informal learning and interpretation.

Position: Education Specialist
Reports To: Education Manager
Position Summary:
The Education Specialist (ES) will complete specialized tasks to facilitate logistics, volunteer operations, content development, and other functions under the direction and assignment of the Education Leadership team.
The ES assigned to logistics will handle day-to-day scheduling operations of school outreach and field trip programs. They are the primary communicator between LLPA and schools.
The ES assigned to content development will write interpretive signs, develop curriculum, and review and create other educational content. They will keep up with innovative best practices in the field of informal learning and interpretation.
The ES assigned to volunteers will maintain and expand the volunteer program in the Education Department. They will recruit, train, and evaluate Education volunteers.
The ES position does not include supervision of any employee or volunteer.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional work experience preferred. Degree in education, communication, museum studies, non-profit management, or a related field strongly preferred.
Must be willing to submit to an additional background check required by the Utah Public Local Education Agency
Valid Utah driver’s license required
Critical Skills/Competencies:
National Association for Interpretation Certified Interpretive Guide status preferred
Strong computer software skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Office 365, Volgistics, Galaxy, and other programs

Answers questions from schools about the Education Department and the various programs offered
Schedules visits through scheduling systems or over the phone when needed
Directs phone calls, messages, and general questions to the appropriate individual
Processes and manages incoming program requests
Creates confirmation sheets and distributes them to the appropriate locations and individuals
Books hotels and confirms travel itineraries for extended school outreach visits
Assists with scheduling, sending emails, and providing information to teachers and guardians for the Education Department’s Summer Camp, School Break Camp, and Teacher Resources programs
Confirms that all school outreach visits and field trip bookings have initial contact, finalized schedules, confirmation sheets, invoices if applicable, and final contact to confirm the visit or booking
Completes other duties as assigned

Ensures quality, engaging, accurate content across Education Department programs and materials
Manages several projects at once
Uses appropriate sources to learn about the subjects of Education Department programs and materials

EDUCATION OR FORMAL TRAINING

A four-year college degree with a major such as recreation, outdoor education, education, early childhood education, or a subject in the human service field; or
Two years of college training and 6 months (910 hours) of experience, since age 18, in the care and supervision of 4 or more children; or
Three years (5460 hours) of experience in one of the following:
Six semester hours in course work from a regionally accredited university; or
40 hours of training in course work applicable to school-age children.
Experience working in an outdoor program, camp, or educational setting.
Documented training, experience, or certification in applicable outdoor program areas.
Have current, or be willing to obtain, the following certifications through day camp staff training:
CPR/First Aid
Archery, USA Level 1 instructor
Paddle Sports Facilitator
Medical Administrator

Must be able to pass a criminal background check acceptable to GSCO standards.
Must have at least three years driving experience, a valid driver's license and driving record acceptable to Girl Scout standards.

Ensure all regulations are being followed at camp and fix issues that may arise.
Act as the direct contact for pick-up and drop-off for camper families.
Create programming that is exciting, progressive, skill based and inclusive of Girl Scouts of all ages, ability levels and from a variety of backgrounds.
Adapt activities and methods to individual and group needs and abilities, provide opportunities for Girl Scouts to experience variety, challenge, and progression.
Use experiential, Girl Scout-led methods of instruction, and positive group management in accordance with the outdoor program department procedures and the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.
Supervise and mentor Day Camp staff throughout the season.

Help resolve any small conflicts with staff and parents or contact manager to assist.
Prevent accidents and injuries through maintaining safety and risk management standards:
Implement Girl Scout, State of Colorado, and American Camp Association safety standards.
Conduct ongoing site inspection for hazards and verify that equipment is in safe condition before each use and is used properly for participants.
Give first-aid care and complete required documentation of care.
Respond to emergencies as appropriate in dynamic outdoor situations.
Participate as a professional member of the GSCO staff in providing effective staff service to the Council:
Be an active member of the Girl Scouts of the U.S.A., demonstrating the principles of the Girl Scout Promise and Law in all activities.
Present a positive image to campers, parents, and volunteers through all interactions.

Summer Day Camp Program Staff
Make a difference in the life of a camper and spend an unforgettable summer working for Girl Scouts of Colorado! Guide, supervise and counsel elementary and middle school aged campers in outdoor program activities at various day camp locations across the Denver Metro area. Days at camp are filled with hiking, boating, outdoor skills, archery, Girl Scout outdoor badges, team building, camp games, singing and other activities.

Day Camp Site Director General Duties: The Day Camp Site Director will be the lead for all day camp staff and assist with all activities including administrative tasks, childcare licensing site visits, health department inspections, emergency actions and other leadership tasks. Directors will also assist with guiding, supervising, and counseling in the outdoors with elementary age Girl Scouts at local nature parks in the Denver Metro area throughout the summer to help them gain invaluable experience in outdoor recreation, leadership, confidence and so much more! Activities include but are not limited to hiking, stand-up paddleboarding, canoeing, outdoor skills, archery, Girl Scout outdoor badges, teambuilding, camp games and other activities.

Must be able to submit detailed and complete records and paperwork associated with various special events, event support, furniture relocation, etc. Troubleshooting and resolving problems. Ensuring that special events have all the requested materials needed per the work order request. Identifying and assessing customer’s needs to achieve satisfaction. Handling customer complaints and providing appropriate resolutions and alternatives. Organizing and maintaining files and records. Assisting requesters/supervisors/managers/coordinators to ensure logistical arrangements for programs are met. A valid SC driver’s license, or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment, as the employee will be required to drive state vehicles to transport equipment and/or personnel. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply.

Position requires basic computer skills and working knowledge and experience in using e-mail. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) is preferred. Must be able to perform duties as described and work both indoors and outdoors in all types of weather. Must be able to work in close quarters, climb ladders/stairs, enter/exit hatches, & work on rooftops. Must be able to work in areas of excessive heat/cold and lift or move furniture, objects, heavy components, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Required to work on weekends and after normal working hours, as needed, to assist with special events, moves, and emergencies. Some overtime & call back after normal working hours and on weekends will be required, as needed. May be required to be on campus prior to & immediately following all emergencies such as hurricanes, floods, snow/ice storms, etc. to assist in cleanup of potential damage to campus.

Job Purpose
The Director of Sustainability provides guidance and vision for the Center for Sustainable Development ( CSD ) by fulfilling the College’s goal of fostering a culture of innovation to support sustainable solutions. This position is responsible for strategic development and operational management of the CSD . This position manages the Associate Director, Zero Waste Manager, as well as well as student graduate assistants and interns that work in the office. The Center for Sustainable Development Manager will work closely with stakeholders across the organization and community, as well as the other department heads within Facilities Management.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree related to environmental science, environmental studies, sustainability or directly related fields and three (3) to five (5) years of work experience leading sustainability initiatives for a large organization. Master’s degree related to environmental science, environmental studies, sustainability or directly related field is preferred. Proven experience in higher education leading sustainability programming is desired. LEED Accredited Professional or closely related sustainability credentials is also preferred. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Must have advanced knowledge and proficiency of the various aspects of sustainability on a large college campus. A demonstrated ability to identify and formulate long-term sustainability direction and goals with the ability to translate these long-term goals into short-term action items and operational activities is required. A cooperative and collaborative leadership style that emphasizes inclusion, integrity, honesty, openness and fairness is required. Must have leadership and management experience and skills focused around program development and execution, as well as, demonstrated ability to work across silos and between multiple entities to achieve stated goals or objectives is required. Strong customer service orientation and a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships throughout the College with a diverse student body, faculty, staff and the Charleston community is also required. Must have a working knowledge in all Microsoft Office Suite, Google programs, Canva, social media outlets and MailChimp. Demonstrated excellence in communicating complex or technical information verbally and in writing is preferred. Demonstrated skills in effective management and team building, as well as, strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills is desired. This position manages the Associate Director, Zero Waste Manager, as well as well as student graduate assistants and interns that work in the office. The Center for Sustainable Development Manager will work closely with stakeholders across the organization and community, as well as the other department heads within Facilities Management.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree related to environmental science, environmental studies, sustainability or directly related fields and three (3) to five (5) years of work experience leading sustainability initiatives for a large organization. Master’s degree related to environmental science, environmental studies, sustainability or directly related field is preferred. Proven experience in higher education leading sustainability programming is desired. LEED Accredited Professional or closely related sustainability credentials is also preferred. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Must have advanced knowledge and proficiency of the various aspects of sustainability on a large college campus. A demonstrated ability to identify and formulate long-term sustainability direction and goals with the ability to translate these long-term goals into short-term action items and operational activities is required. A cooperative and collaborative leadership style that emphasizes inclusion, integrity, honesty, openness and fairness is required. Must have leadership and management experience and skills focused around program development and execution, as well as, demonstrated ability to work across silos and between multiple entities to achieve stated goals or objectives is required. Strong customer service orientation and a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships throughout the College with a diverse student body, faculty, staff and the Charleston community is also required. Must have a working knowledge in all Microsoft Office Suite, Google programs, Canva, social media outlets and MailChimp. Demonstrated excellence in communicating complex or technical information verbally and in writing is preferred. Demonstrated skills in effective management and team building, as well as, strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills is desired. Must have skills in exercising a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion and decision-making to achieve organizational objectives.

What is a Program and Events Specialist?

This position requires experience and business knowledge in the definition and management of the different Master Data elements in S4/Hana. These include customers (sold-to, bill-to, ship-to, payer), vendor (business partner types), materials master and finance master data. An end-to-end understanding of these different datasets, and how they relate to other data elements and business processes, will be critical for guiding various teams in managing master data scenarios. This position requires experience in collecting business requirements and creating detailed functional solutions documentation. Experience in coordinating testing with business users and capturing change.
Responsible for script creation/maintenance in Winshuttle Studio.
Responsible for Evolve forms and workflow creation/maintenance, end to end testing of solutions, as well as promoting them from non-prod to prod environments.
Responsible for setting up users, assigning licenses and assigning/maintaining groups.
Maintain knowledge and experience of SAP S4/HANA.
Create, review, and maintain quality documentation (Business process documents, process flows, forms, testing and procedures, etc.).
Continue to look for and drive process improvements.
Solve and understand how our processes work within Evolve and SAP.
Takes work direction from the Master Data Management Manager/Supervisor and Data Governance Business Partners.

Basic & Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience with minimum 3-4 years related experience analyzing, validating, and posting data.
2-3 Years’ experience with solution scoping, development and delivery with Winshuttle Studio, Composer and Foundation.
Knowledge of SAP business processes related to master data creation and maintenance in S/4 Hana, especially material master, customer, vendor, and finance.
Knowledge of the SAP GUI – transactions related to master data.
Knowledge of backend tables
Knowledge of SAP ABAP development a plus, especially BAPIs and RFCs
Knowledge of SAP PLM, Salesforce.com, and SLP Ariba a plus.

Located in northwestern Oregon at the confluence of the Columbia and Willamette Rivers, Multnomah County is at the heart of one of the most livable areas in the United States.
The County offers natural splendor and urban amenities alike: it is home to the scenic wonders of the Columbia River Gorge and the western slopes of picturesque Mt. Hood, and to the urban sophistication of Portland, Oregon's largest city. The City boasts 10,000 acres of park land in 206 locations (including the largest forested wilderness park within an American city), as well as ballet, symphony, and theater companies. MULTNOMAH COUNTY GOVERNMENT
The County is governed by a Board of County Commissioners, consisting of four non-partisan members elected from designated districts, and the Board Chair, who is elected at large. The Chair also provides executive direction as the County's CEO.
The County provides diverse services to the community, including libraries, road maintenance, social services, health clinics, regulatory health services, supervision and custody of justice-involved youth and adults, criminal prosecution, and law enforcement for unincorporated areas.

DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY JUSTICE
Vision ~ Community Safety through Positive Change
The Department of Community Justice (DCJ) is recognized as a national leader in both adult and juvenile community justice. DCJ routinely consults and makes use of evidence-based practices in our program and policy development. The Department's commitment to data-informed decision-making has led DCJ to make smart investments of taxpayer dollars in supervision, sanctions, and services for the county's highest risk and highest need justice-involved individuals. DCJ makes long-term investments in its employees through the provision of education and training. The Department believes that in order to enhance public safety we must work collaboratively with the judiciary, law enforcement, schools, treatment agencies, and the community.
The Department shares information with community members, partners, and staff to keep communities safe by preventing and reducing crime and routinely evaluating which local policies support best practices. DCJ operates 24 hours a day, with nearly 650 regular, on-call, and temporary employees. The Department supervises over 4,000 justice-involved individuals annually and those defendants requiring pretrial services. DCJ's Juvenile Services Division operates the Donald E. Long Juvenile Detention Facility and is responsible for approximately 500 youth on formal and informal community supervision.

SERVING THE PUBLIC, EVEN DURING DISASTERS
Every day, Multnomah County staff work together to serve as a safety net for our communities. During a disaster, this safety net becomes even more critical. All County employees have a role in serving the public during inclement weather, natural disaster, or other types of community emergency response. During these emergency responses, while typically there begins with a call for volunteers, county employees may ultimately be reassigned from their current position to a role in the emergency response in order to support the critical needs presented by our communities.
