Job Description

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Military Operations Analyst support our Colorado Springs, CO (Peterson AFB) location.

Operations Support and Subject Matter Expertise (SME) to USASMDC/ARSTRAT International Partnerships. Provide International Agreement and SATCOM SME support for activities required in the effective implementation and management of current SATCOM International Partnerships, and future SATCOM Partnership exploratory discussions, negotiation support, and integration of new International Partners. The Military Operations Analyst will be responsible for the following: - Maintain a direct liaison with the U.S. Military Departments, Joint Staff, Defense Information Systems Agency, the Office of the Secretary of Defense, U.S. North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) staff, and the International Partner Participant users of SATCOM systems as directed to provide necessary support to USASMDC/ARSTRAT G6 Directorate. - Provide SATCOM SME support for activities required in the analysis of future North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Wideband and Narrowband SATCOM requirements. - Provide SATCOM SME for adjustments to current U.S. International Partnerships; perform link budgeting analysis and associated system capability review.


Required Skills/Experience:

  • 10 years of Department of Defense (DoD) SATCOM experience .
  • Experience in military operations, daily operational support, planning, coordination, facility, personnel, training and technical analyses.
  • Experience with planning and executing coalition operations.
  • Project Management and analytical tools: Microsoft Office - Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Communications Planning Tools: Common Network Planning Software and Narrowband SATCOM Planning systems.
  • Travel: 25%
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • An active DoD Top Secret/SCI (or Top Secret with SCI eligibility) clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Top Secret/SCI (or Top Secret with SCI eligibility) clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.


Education Requirements:

A completed Bachelor's Degree in a related field OR 10 years of relevant experience. 


Desired Skills:

Significant military familiarity and training in SATCOM and be able to demonstrate proficiency in SATCOM principles, technical analysis, and problem solving.
