Job Description

PeopleTec is currently seeking an Intermediate Analyst to support our THAAD efforts in Huntsville, AL.

 

Duties Include:

  • Support the mission of the Future Architecture, Integration, and Requirements division of the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) System Engineering Office
  • Support Government Customer in the review of documentation, issue identification, and completion of action items assigned in the following working groups:
    • Interface Control Working Group
    • Interoperability Technical Analysis Group
  • Maintain implemented Interface Change Proposal (ICP) listing for the programs:
    • Integrated Architecture Data Standardization Working Group
    • Common Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD)
    • eXtensible markup language
    • Schema Configuration Control Board (CIXS CCB)
    • Joint System Engineering Team (JSET) threat consistency study
  • Support Government Customer by acting as the THAAD System Architect developing System Architecture artifacts supporting the following working groups or documentation development:
    • Joint Planning Architecture Working Group
    • Capabilities Description Documents (CDD) and Capabilities Production Documents (CPD)
    • Information Support Plan
  • Supply Subject Matter Expertise and institutional knowledge on Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) Automated Engagement Coordination (AEC) methods and implementation.
  • Primary reviewer of prime contractor implementation study documentation
  • Review Prime Contractor developed documentation for content correctness and completeness
  • Develop Engineering Estimates used to develop Independent Government Estimates of interoperability additions to the THAAD weapon system
  • Track Unfunded Requirements (UFRs) 

 

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Experience in Interoperability, Interface Change Proposals (ICPs), BMDS Automated Engagement Coordination, and Link 16
  • Experience with generating architectural artifacts for weapon systems
  • Excellent people, organizational, management and leadership skills
  • Capable of working independently, as a team member, or leading teams/tasks to solve engineering/scientific problems
  • Serve as a proactive team member within the Program Office
  • Analysis and reports of weapon system interoperability in a link 16 environment
  • Ability to support missile defense engineering design, requirements, and programmatic reviews (DOORs, CCBs) assessments and summaries
  • Capability to use the Microsoft Office package to include: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Travel: Up to 5% to various locations within the CONUS
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

 

Education Requirements:

A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Physic with 5+ years of experience is required. 

 

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in the design, development, testing, production, or production of THAAD missile defense weapon systems or components
  • Experience with interacting and supporting high level government customers to include generating briefing and written products and presenting information at the executive level
  • Experience working IAMD
