Senior Systems Engineer (#1806222)

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support our Huntsville, AL location.

The successful candidate will work in support of a Future Vertical Lift Project Office as a Systems Engineer.

Duties Include:

• Develop, capture and trace requirements utilizing DOOR, MBSE tools such as MagicDraw or other related programs
• Support the development of airworthiness documentation such as integration plans, procedures and scenarios used in the conduct of software and hardware system integration testing, and perform analysis of integration results to assess system impacts
• Develop and maintain models using modeling languages such as Unified Modeling Language (UML), Systems Modeling Language (SysML), and Unified Profile for DoDAF/MODAF (UPDM)
• Perform trade studies
• Evaluate airworthiness criteria
• Develop automated test procedures for system software, hardware, and other segments and system components

Required Skills/Experience:

• Ability to develop and maintain models using modeling languages such as Unified Modeling Language (UML), Systems Modeling Language (SysML), and Unified Profile for DoDAF/MODAF (UPDM)
• Ability to define, analyze, develop, and model requirements
• Experience in avionics and real time systems
• Travel: 10%
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

Education Requirements:

Bachelors degree and at least six years of experience required

Desired Skills:

• MOSA, SOSA and FACE experience is desired
