We are looking for a Cloud Application engineer. The candidate will be required to aid in the development, unit test and integrate into the larger software solution.

How You'll Make Your Mark:

Work hands on in Cloud Development areas such as: Java, Golang GRPC, SQL Aurora, Spark, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Envoy, Couchbase, Dynamo, Redis, Maven, Docker,  Elasticsearch.

·         Developing and implementing cloud applications.

·         Developing and releasing cloud applications in production environment.

·         AWS, Azure, GPC, and/or Private Cloud exposure

·         Work closely with Product Marketing to understand requirements and translate those into design and implementation.

·         Have a solid grasp of computer science/software engineering concepts, including:

o    Common data structures

o    Standard algorithms

o    Object-oriented design

o    Distributed computing

o    Cloud computing paradigms

About You:

·         BS or MS level in Computer Science or related fields with 2+ years experience

Experience with Python, Golang, or Java

·         Knowledge of RDBMS (Postgres) and NoSQL (Cassendra, ElasticSearch, Kairos DB, etc.) Persistence stack needed.

·         Knowledge of Cloud Platform - CoreOS, Kubernetes and Docker containers.

·         Experience in designing cloud applications using distributed cache and experience of using Redis, Hazelcast and similar products.

·         Experience with messaging systems like RabbitMQ and distributed streaming platforms like Kafka.

·         You will have the ability to deploy various techniques to ‘scale’ an application in a cloud environment.
