Job Description

HISPANIC DIGITAL MEDIA PLANNER

 Summary: Responsible for broad involvement in the media planning process to expand individual knowledge base and media experiences.

 

Qualifications

 

  1. 3-4 years of Hispanic digital agency experience with working knowledge of:
  • Data management platforms
  • Ad server experience (Double Click preferred)
  • Verification software (IAS or Double Verify preferred)
  • Programmatic buying landscape
  1. Experience working with partners, media brief / RFP
  2. Experience handling negotiations and contracts with partners and holding them accountable to agreed upon KPIs
  3. Experience in collaborating with the broader media and digital teams to develop media strategies and tactics to effectively target the diverse Hispanic consumer in the U.S.
  4. We value opinions at all levels and embrace collaboration – candidate should be motivated and a self-starter
  5. Strong mathematical abilities, attention to detail and ability to multi-task required
  6. Bilingual – English and Spanish a plus
  7. Experience with and working knowledge of Search practices a plus

 

 

Duties & Responsibilities

 

  • Write RFPs / RFIs (one sheet briefs to partners)
  • Vet different partners in partner selection process to build a comprehensive media process
  • Bring partnership ideas to be evaluated for future Hispanic media plans and campaigns
  • Confer with media team, clients, and/or account services to establish media objectives and strategies for advertising campaigns
  • Promote synergy between Hispanic and general market digital plans to help enhance effectiveness as well as efficiencies for the agency clients
  • Assist and implement the management of daily tasks in support of the digital media product
  • Evaluate communication goals of potential media plans and make best recommendation
  • Confer with media representatives to evaluate best optimum use of budgeted funds to achieve marketing and sales objectives
  • Monitor digital campaigns to ensure pacing and delivery
  • Manage campaign budgets
  • Ability to act as a mentor to junior team members on digital acumen and knowledge
  • Study demographic data and consumer profiles to identify desired target audiences
  • Evaluate editorial content, ratings and audience composition of a wide range of digital channels/partners to determine which would most effectively reach the target audience
  • Gather statistics, and from these data runs, chart and identify trends to make the numbers reflect recommendations supported by metrics
  • Conduct media research, evaluate data; develop points of view; understand system applications; and understand various media and their applications against Client strategies/goals
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the client’s business
  • Keep current on media trends
  • Travel occasionally to supported markets or client events
