Job Description

PeopleTec is currently seeking an Interdisciplinary Engineer to support our Huntsville, AL location.

The Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA)/ Missile and Space Intelligence Center (MSIC) requires contract support for scientific computing operations, computational Analysis, tool development, knowledge, and Program management activities, system services, digital production, and advanced data analytics. These areas enable MSIC to produce scientific and technical intelligence (S TI) assessments of foreign ground-based air defense missiles, ballistic missiles, ballistic missile defense systems, anti-tank guided missiles, anti-satellite and directed energy weapons, as well as their associated command, control, communications, and computer (C4) systems.

The successful candidate supports the development of Intelligence Mission Data (IMD) products for the intelligence community with focus on kinematic, signature (radar / thermal), electronic warfare, propulsion, and materials. A strong background in systems engineering processes supports coupled with a comprehensive understanding of the use of modeling and simulation for the prediction of missile system and subsystem characteristics leads to superior job performance. The candidate uses these skills to support the development of comprehensive and detailed products descriptive of the performance of missile subsystems and systems. The candidate may lead or participate in multi-disciplinary teams or perform independent research.

Required Skills/Experience:

Demonstrated experience with missile sub-system and system performance analysis

Demonstrated knowledge of database (Oracle, Microsoft SQL) use

Strong written and verbal communications skills

A Counterintelligence polygraph examination is required

Travel: Up to 20%

Must be a U.S. Citizen

An active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

Education Requirements:

A BS degree in Engineering (Electrical, Aerospace, Mechanical, Computer) is required.

(BS + 15; MS+12, PhD+10)

Desired Skills:

Higher level degrees (MS, PhD) in Electrical, Aerospace, Mechanical or Computer Engineering are highly desired. Published research is desired.

Demonstrated experience leading multi-disciplined teams is required, inclusive of project requirements, personnel supervision, budget planning and monitoring, and schedule planning and monitoring is desired. Intelligence community fundamentals certification(s) are desired.
