IoT/ICS/SCADA Cyber Lead (#1935858)

PeopleTec is seeking an IoT/ICS/SCADA Cyber Lead to support our Huntsville, AL location.

The candidate will lead Cyber M&S, Vulnerability Analysis, Penetration Testing, and Exploitation Development efforts of ICS/SCADA/IoT systems and architectures. The work will be supporting cyber hardening efforts of critical government weapon systems and infrastructure. Work areas also include digital forensics, threat hunting, intrusion analysis, and exploitation of non-standard IT systems (e.g. ICS/SCADA/IoT and operational technology systems). The risk profile of control systems and infrastructure is constantly changing as OT and IT networks become increasingly interconnected. Our team researches cyber threats to OT/IT networks and helps our customers increase their weapon systems' cyber security and mitigate risk to mission.

Duties Include:

• Leading a small team of cyber analysts and engineers to support IoT/ICS/SCADA cyber efforts
• Leverage knowledge of Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs) to conduct Offensive Cyber Operations (OCO) against weapon systems in a lab environment to emulate real-world threats
• Lead and conduct cyber vulnerability assessments of enterprise, weapon, and space-based systems and recommend best cybersecurity practices to government customers to mitigate vulnerabilities
• Develop custom hardware/software solutions to harden cyber physical systems
• Research cyber hardening techniques and apply solutions to customer systems
• Research and develop novel software exploitation techniques
• Design and enhance cyber ranges to provide test architecture for vulnerability assessments
• Employ COTS techniques/tools such as BlackEnergy, Burp Suite, Cobalt Strike, Core Impact, Endgame, Kali, Kerrdown, Metasploit, and Mimikatz to conduct offensive cyber operations
• Use knowledge of Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) and countermeasures such as Carbon Black, Elastic Endgame, SecureOnix, and Splunk to define OCO approaches that evade DCO analysts and tools
• Author technical reports of assessments, results, and recommended mitigations
• Proactively engage with customers by presenting project updates, technical details, and demonstrations
• Support business development and proposal activities to grow IoT/ICS/SCADA cyber work areas and customers

Required Skills / Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in IoT/ICS/SCADA cybersecurity
• In-depth understanding of cyber security policies, tools, threat mitigations, network topologies, and secure networks
• Technical and project leadership experience
• Excellent thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experienced at self-starting, seeking solutions, and works well in a team environment
• Travel: up to 10% during safe travel conditions
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field

Desired Skills:

• Experience with digital twin modeling & simulation
• One or more of the following certifications: CISSP, GIAC, GISCP, CISA, GPEN, CEH, or Pentest+
• Experience with SCADA, PLC, DPC, ICS technologies/vendors
• Active TS/SCI clearance
