We are seeking an energetic and highly organized Development Director to implement our development plan. This is a key role in helping to grow the organization. Essential Functions: Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Development Director (DD) will provide strategic leadership for the planning, implementation, evaluation, integration, and administration development department. The DD will lead a team of development professionals in achieving the organization’s revenue goals, increasing income, and educating and engaging more individuals and institutions in the to advance the organization’s mission. The DD will be part of a skilled team of professionals working to raise at least $5 million annually. The DD manages a multi-faceted fundraising program; central to this role will be prioritizing personal solicitation of major donors, events, online and direct marketing, and foundation fundraising.
Duties:
Work closely with the Development Team to establish fundraising goals, set strategic priorities, advise on program development, and develop and meet annual budget
Manage and build a growing team of development professionals, provide on-going guidance, direction, and motivation, hire team members and provide oversight to consultants as needed, delegate appropriately and ensure strong internal communication and coordination, and evaluate performance and provide opportunities for personal and professional growth
Work closely with the Boards of Directors to engage them more deeply in the fundraising process and to help cultivate a strong relationship between board members and the organization
Help track cultivation and prospecting activity and ensure the execution of action items
Solicit contributions from major individual donors and steward long-term relationships with donors
Develop relationships with prospective individual and foundation donors to increase funding
Research prospective institutional and individual funders
Work with internal partners to draft and edit proposals and reports
Track proposal and reporting deadlines, ensure that all submitted materials are accurate and comply with any funder requirements
Manage all grant activity in a central database and deliver regular reports to the Executive Director
Serve as the point person for management and maintenance of funders database and ensure efficient system utilization across all units
Oversee the implementation of ongoing programs to improve the renewal rates of existing annual donors, creatively use events to upgrade donors and maintain a diversity of revenue
Work with the VP of Operations to develop annual budgets and income projections
Stay abreast of political and philanthropic trends and ensure that Board and staff are informed of changes in legislation and other trends and initiatives that might impact giving
Competencies:
Experience in fundraising and achieving corporate s;ponsorships
Extensive knowledge of fundraising strategies and principles

Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree plus 7+ years fundraising experience

A clear understanding of 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) nonprofit legal issues/structures.
Well-developed writing, interpersonal and organizational skills and experience managing staff
Commitment to organization’s mission and understanding of current policy issues and political landscape
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with, and quickly gain the respect and support of, various constituencies, including a visible chief executive committed to raising money, established development management team, active board members, other senior leadership, program directors and donors.
Experience as an effective communicator who is articulate and persuasive in both the spoken and written word; must be adept at crafting materials and making presentations to a variety of audiences

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a permanent full-time position. This position regularly requires long hours and frequent weekend work.
Travel Requirements: This position has frequent travel throughout the United States and Puerto Rico.
Salary Range: $85,000-$100,000/year
Commensurate according to years of experience. All employees must meet a 6-month probationary period. Continuation of this position after one year is dependent on the successful candidate meeting jointly determined performance goals.

America Votes is seeking a talented staff or project manager and mid-senior campaign strategist for a full-time position as Arizona Deputy State Director. The Deputy State Director will take a strategic, collaborative, and flexible approach to their work with the state coalition and the coordination of strategies between state based partner organizations and national partners. The position will have responsibility in supporting the scale-up, direct support, and coordination of canvass operations. Coalition Coordination: Plan and facilitate regular coalition meetings for organizations to create and share plans as well as progress toward goals; identify problems and new opportunities toward winning elections and advancing advocacy goals. Directly manage and provide leadership in the state with the development, implementation, and analysis of state campaign plans, with an emphasis on direct voter contact programs. Support state director in coalition work including in approaching campaign, electoral, and coalition work through a lens of racial equity. Model principles of equity, diversity and inclusion internally and externally. Be culturally competent and support work to build power with BIPOC-led and focused partners.

Qualifications Required

Ensure equity principles related to research, data collection, data analysis and communication are fully integrated into analytic and evaluation work.
Communicate efficiently and effectively with OHA program staff and general leadership. Provide expertise needed to independently design, plan, and conduct research needed to evaluate and monitor the activities and goals of HPA programs and services.
Coordinate opportunities for internal and external interested parties (e.g., OHA and other agency staff, health plans, health service providers, etc.) to provide input for evaluations.

The purpose of this position is to support the data collection, analysis and reporting efforts of the OHA and serves as a critical coordination point for data and reporting between the Health Systems Division Compass Team and Health Policy and Analytics Behavioral Health Analytics (BHA) Team. This position performs a variety of research activities and tasks to facilitate the completion of operational reports and research studies, policy analyses, and production of a variety of reports, dashboards, and other data products. This body of work includes gathering requirements from internal and external partners and communities with lived experience, providing gap assessments of existing data systems and identifying future data/system needs, develop and test new data collection efforts, and provide ongoing data validation and transformation in support of behavioral health programs and initiatives.
The position executes some independence in designing and executing data reports and visualizations. The position also works to execute data reports designed by higher-level analysts and validate the data contained within reports and other data products completed by other analysts. This body of work includes gathering requirements from internal and external partners and communities with lived experience, providing gap assessments of existing data systems and identifying future data/system needs, develop and test new data collection efforts, and provide ongoing data validation and transformation in support of behavioral health programs and initiatives.
The position executes some independence in designing and executing data reports and visualizations. The position also works to execute data reports designed by higher-level analysts and validate the data contained within reports and other data products completed by other analysts. The position prepares data visualizations, tables, and charts in MS Excel and PowerBI, and other software, and performs queries on a variety of databases using computer software, such as Synapse, PowerBI and SQL. The position will access the Behavioral Health Data Warehouse and conduct queries and analyses on the data contained within. The position serves to fulfill many data requests, especially ad hoc requests from behavioral health partners.

Minimum Requirements

Experience with data mining, including techniques of data extraction, documentation, analysis, and reporting is required. Experience working in a higher education environment is preferred. Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, mathematics/statistics, engineering, management information science, data processing or related field and experience with Tableau, Cognos/Argos, SQL , and/or SAS is required. Experience with data mining, including techniques of data extraction, documentation, analysis, and reporting is required. Experience working in a higher education environment is preferred. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply.

Required: Experience with Tableau, Cognos/Argos, SQL , and/or SAS . Advanced SAS programming experience is preferred. Position Description :
The Director of Development is the chief fundraiser for CVPA and is responsible for creating, executing, and managing all fundraising and development activities, including raising funds towards a $1.8 million yearly budget. They will build and oversee the execution of CVPA’s development strategy and will be a member of the senior leadership team. The Director of Development will work to engage and raise funds from existing donors, forge new relationships to build CVPA’s visibility, impact, and financial resources, and create an internal organizational culture for fundraising.
This position will primarily be responsible for expanding, diversifying, and strengthening CVPA’s donor base and pipeline, while cultivating existing donors, organizational partners, and foundations. They will work closely with the Executive Director, leadership team members, the board of directors, and development and executive staff at PennFuture, our C3 strategic partner, to secure funding for new and existing initiatives.
Specific Job Duties:
Meet with and make fundraising asks of individual donors.
Develop an annual fundraising plan with evaluation metrics.
Develop and implement strategies for the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of
individuals, corporations, and foundations in concert with the Executive Director.
Manage and develop a portfolio of current, lapsed, and prospective donors.
Work in deep coordination with Development staff at PennFuture to share resources, create equivalencies, and jointly raise more funds for both organizations.
Work with the other staff and Executive Director to organize and execute various fundraising events each year, including our annual Green Gala.
Work with the other staff to manage grant timelines and deliverables, including drafting content and coordinating with program staff as appropriate.
Oversee support staff’s work on annual membership engagement, including direct mail pieces, email fundraising, and timely acknowledgment.
Work with and support the Board of Directors in their fundraising efforts.

Job Purpose
The Academic Advisor supports undergraduate students with all aspects of academic planning by promoting and encouraging self-authorship and resource utilization in support of academic success, as well as timely and informed pursuit of an academic major. This is accomplished through a one on one student-centered, individualized, technology-enhanced advising appointments, classroom instruction of EXPL 101, and the establishment of a relationship based on mutual trust with a diverse student population. Students meet with their academic advisor in a one-on-one and a classroom setting to explore their interests, discuss course options, consider majors, plan for the future, and address any academic concerns.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required in liberal arts discipline, counseling or related field and the ability to be certified to teach EXPL 101 if candidate does not have a Masters degree. Two years of professional workplace experience in higher education or related field in which applicant can convey relevant transferable skills. Knowledge and understanding of FERPA regulations and its application. Working knowledge and effective utilization of Microsoft Suite products and Zoom software. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply.

Physical demands include sitting, walking within the office and around campus; navigating to, from and between buildings, classroom environments and stairways, particularly during New Student Orientation. The Oregon Health Authority (OHA), Public Health Division (PHD), Health Care Regulation and Quality Improvement Program (HCRQI) is recruiting for a Client Care Surveyor to provide assurance that the citizens of the State of Oregon have access to safe, quality health care. LCV is hiring an Associate Data and Project Analyst who will oversee the data and reporting for LCV’s issue advocacy program, Climate Action, and its electoral member mobilization program, GreenRoots, and will ensure the team has the proper training and documentation on various tools to meet their strategic goals. This role will be a strategic partner that will act as a liaison between the campaigns and fundraising data teams to ensure effective and efficient flow of data and reporting between the departments. The Associate Data and Project Analyst will oversee the collection, creation, and maintenance of documentation pertaining to LCV’s campaigns data structure, and will be responsible for planning, creating, and executing newsletters and communication related to the work of the Campaigns Data team to ensure maximum effectiveness in communicating important strategic findings and utilizing data and analytics to engage the public on environmental issues across the country and build support for environmental priorities.
Responsibilities:
Generate, manage and track voter, membership and volunteer lists for LCV and LCVEF programs, including mailings and online outreach, in a fast-paced campaign setting.
Work with the Development department to synchronize data across departments and programs.
Train staff on data tracking and reporting in VAN.
Analyze demographic and socioeconomic trends in membership, volunteer, and voter data and recommend measures to expand stakeholder diversity.
Clean data and prepare lists to upload and export into the database(s).
Serve as the main point of contact for Climate Action and GreenRoots program data training, requests and reporting.
Work closely with the Campaign Data team to ensure processes performed by internal staff and external partners, including vendors, are documented.
Maintain constant communication with stakeholders of projects to ensure effective project management.
