The Access & Instruction Specialist is a permanent, full time staff member of the Access & Instruction Team at the College of Charleston Libraries who works primarily at the Access & Instruction Desk in Addlestone Library. Directly supporting Pillar 1 in the College’s Strategic Plan, this position impacts our students’ College experience and success by providing academic support and creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where all students feel they belong. Under the direct supervision of the Circulation and Shelving Manager and the direction of the Access Services Coordinator, the Access & Instruction Specialist provides excellent point-of-need access and instruction services (in-person and virtually) to all patrons; works with members of the Access and Instruction Unit to promote the College Libraries’ spaces, resources, and services across multiple channels and platforms to increase student engagement and success; assists with supervising and training student employees; and ensures library systems and facilities are operating as expected.
Minimum Requirements
High School diploma and 2 years of library/information services experience or a bachelor’s degree and 1 year of customer service experience. Ability to bend, stoop, and lift material up to 30 pounds. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply.
Working evenings and Sundays is required.

Excellent customer service skills. Technologically proficient with Windows and iOS software operations, scanning technology, and Microsoft Office programs. Fluency in content creation and content management; confident in navigating social media platforms; creative, detail-oriented, and resourceful. Ability to teach others basic research and technology skills. Ability to prioritize job duties and multitask. Must be flexible, adaptable, and demonstrate enthusiasm for changes in technologies and services. Must demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail, have excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work and troubleshoot issues independently as they arise. Must be able to lead projects involving clearly defined, time-sensitive outcomes.

Experience with and proficient use of access services components of integrated library system(s) and SpringShare LibApps Platform (or similar library services platform) preferred. Typical work week during regular semesters is Sunday – Thursday, 12pm – 8pm. This shift serves as a backup for the Sunday-Thursday, 4pm – Midnight shift. Hours and location are subject to change and may be revised as needed, especially during summers, holidays, and days when classes are not in session.

Position Description
America Votes is currently seeking a Development & Grants Assistant to join our diverse and high performing Development & Grants team. Reporting to the Director of Development, the Development & Grants Assistant serves as the backbone of department operations by ensuring all administrative processes are in place to execute the department's work. This includes, working closely with other departments to ensure compliance needs are met, assisting with contribution tracking and acknowledgement, supporting donor communication needs, and other related projects as assigned. This is a temporary position, ending on March 31, 2025.

Support Grants Manager in working with finance and legal teams to ensure grantees have submitted necessary documentation for tracking.
Provide additional support on tracking and summarizing grantee reporting for internal and external communications.
Coordinate with the political department and state staff to gather information for regular funder updates on overall program execution.
Support the productions of various donor communications including research, content collection, copy-editing, etc.
Support the executing of in-person and virtual donor briefings (including slide administration and management).
Provide dedicated administrative support for fundraising principals, to include assistance with scheduling, meeting prep, and other logistical needs.
Manage the EveryAction platform, covering all data entry and system maintenance.

Compensation
The salary for this position will be between $53,000 and $58,000 and depend upon the applicant's experience. Position Overview: Footsteps seeks an energetic, highly organized, project manager to serve as the Coordinator of the Executive Office. The Coordinator will provide overall executive-level support and coordination to the CEO in all aspects of their daily activities, managing an array of projects, including organizational development, and supporting coordination for the executive office. The executive office includes the CEO, the Board of Directors, the Senior Director of People and Culture, the Senior Director of Programs, and the Senior Director of Finance, Data, and Administration. Job Responsibilities:
Supporting the CEO
Be aware of and manage the CEO’s priorities, fielding inquiries, anticipating and navigating shifting needs as they arise
Manage the CEO’s calendar, scheduling and confirming appointments, preparing materials for meetings and coordinating travel arrangements
Support the CEO in managing email inbox, draft correspondence with external constituents and document key correspondence in the database
Support the CEO’s fundraising work, partner with the development team to coordinate, prepare for, and follow-up on donor meetings and events, and support with development tasks as needed
Act as an information funnel, facilitating between CEO and internal and external stakeholders
Supporting the Executive Office
In partnership with the Senior Director of People and Culture, build agendas and manage scheduling and content for leadership and all staff meetings, as well as staff gatherings and retreats

Position Overview: Footsteps seeks an energetic, highly organized, project manager to serve as the Coordinator of the Executive Office. The Coordinator will provide overall executive-level support and coordination to the CEO in all aspects of their daily activities, managing an array of projects, including organizational development, and supporting coordination for the executive office. The executive office includes the CEO, the Board of Directors, the Senior Director of People and Culture, the Senior Director of Programs, and the Senior Director of Finance, Data, and Administration. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional project manager who possesses a high level of discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information and managing relationships with staff, board members, Footsteps members, and external stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:
Supporting the CEO
Be aware of and manage the CEO’s priorities, fielding inquiries, anticipating and navigating shifting needs as they arise
Manage the CEO’s calendar, scheduling and confirming appointments, preparing materials for meetings and coordinating travel arrangements
Support the CEO in managing email inbox, draft correspondence with external constituents and document key correspondence in the database
Support the CEO’s fundraising work, partner with the development team to coordinate, prepare for, and follow-up on donor meetings and events, and support with development tasks as needed
Act as an information funnel, facilitating between CEO and internal and external stakeholders
Supporting the Executive Office
In partnership with the Senior Director of People and Culture, build agendas and manage scheduling and content for leadership and all staff meetings, as well as staff gatherings and retreats
Project manage organization-wide strategic initiatives and special projects that do not fit neatly within the organizational chart or that fall between departmental or leadership responsibility
Plan and execute the annual goal-planning process
Board Liaising
Work with the operations team to coordinate all logistics around board meetings including scheduling, managing RSVPs, and materials preparation
Manage schedule of board activities, schedule board committee meetings, facilitate communication and reporting leading up to board meetings and organizational events
Take notes at board and committee meetings, disseminate minutes and action items in a timely manner
Manage board orientation process, including scheduling orientation and the compilation of the board manual for new members

Develop and implement an annual, multi-faceted communications strategy that builds and maintains a positive organizational brand and supports Generation Hope’s strategic goals and priorities
Ensure consistent and compelling branding across all communication materials, including websites, video, organic and paid social media, print materials, collateral, slide decks, and press releases. Protect and enhance the organization's reputation through effective brand management.
Create and deploy a guide for the organization that details consistent language and terms and work with the Race Equity Working Group to ensure that our language is inclusive and reflects our race equity commitment
Monitor and analyze audience engagement both digitally and through conversion rates, using data to make informed decisions and to strengthen, improve, and evaluate communications strategies
Lead the assessment of current internal and external communications and media practices, systems, and processes and the design and execution of new practices, systems, and processes. Develop and track communications performance metrics on a quarterly basis.
Develop and manage an organizational crisis communications plan to ensure best practices in brand protection and management.
Create and manage systems for ensuring consistent and on-brand communications across all direct-service sites
Evaluate the organization’s current website assets and needs and lead a website redevelopment project to guide the organization’s future online presence

Ensure the Communications team is creating engaging and impactful content for various platforms and collaborate with other departments to gather content and success stories
Work with PR firm to deploy consistent, timely, and strategic press and media relations efforts that are aligned with the annual communications plan and build long-term relationships with key press (emphasizing economic mobility, higher ed, family, student parents, early childhood, race equity, advocacy)
In partnership with our public relations firm, develop press kits, timelines, and fact sheets for internal and external stakeholders
Ensure the organization's website is up to date with fresh content, reflecting the latest initiatives and developments. Optimize website content for search engine visibility and user experience.
Collaborate with the Development team to create compelling campaigns and donor communication materials, including the annual report, to convey the impact of donations and appreciate supporters
Partner with the Programming team to amplify student parent voices and share strengths-based stories about their persistence and success through digital and print media and support recruitment efforts

The Position (IT Security Administrator)
The IT Security Administrator will work to strengthen the agency’s overall cybersecurity posture. This person will be a member of the Information Security team, leading on developing and maintaining global information security policies. This position will have a significant role in the formation and implementation of a global information security program based on the Center for Internet Security (CIS) controls and protocols. They will also develop, implement and maintain a Privilege Access Management system, acting as the subject matter expert providing the first line of support throughout the agency. The IT Security Administrator will work with our cybersecurity partner to oversee various services provided such as Threat Hunting and Response, Continual Vulnerability Scanning and Mitigation. This person will respond to all cyber security incidents, investigations, mitigations and reporting. This person will also work with M365 and SharePoint administrators to ensure effective security practices are in place around data access and sharing. This position must have a strong understanding of the security implications of Identity management and SSO technology.

The Information Technology Department Summary
The Information Technology Department ensures that Mercy Corps’ global workforce has the infrastructure, security, support, and technology they need to fulfill their critical missions.
The Position (IT Security Administrator)
The IT Security Administrator will work to strengthen the agency’s overall cybersecurity posture. This person will be a member of the Information Security team, leading on developing and maintaining global information security policies. This position will have a significant role in the formation and implementation of a global information security program based on the Center for Internet Security (CIS) controls and protocols. They will also develop, implement and maintain a Privilege Access Management system, acting as the subject matter expert providing the first line of support throughout the agency. The IT Security Administrator will work with our cybersecurity partner to oversee various services provided such as Threat Hunting and Response, Continual Vulnerability Scanning and Mitigation. This person will respond to all cyber security incidents, investigations, mitigations and reporting. This person will also work with M365 and SharePoint administrators to ensure effective security practices are in place around data access and sharing. This position must have a strong understanding of the security implications of Identity management and SSO technology.
This person should have a strong background in systems / network administration to provide backup support for network infrastructure administration including support of Linux and Windows servers. Responsibilities :

These are a full-time, limited duration, classified positions which are represented by a union.
The Oregon Health Authority (OHA), Public Health Division (PHD), Office of the State Public Health Director (OSPHD) in Portland, OR is recruiting for two Executive Support Specialists to provide executive administrative support to executive leadership in the Office of the State Public Health Director. The Office of the State Public Health Director guides the strategy, operations, and policy of public health programs within the division, and assures an effective and coherent public health system for Oregon.
NOTE: Approximately 1-2 days a week work will be conducted remotely at an alternate worksite with full access to the needed operating systems and technology. However, 3-4 days a week, the work will need to be conducted at the central work location listed in this announcement, the Portland State Office Building located at 800 NE Oregon Street, Portland, OR 97232. Work location can be changed at any time at the discretion of the hiring manager.
What will you do? As the Executive Support Specialist, you will perform special projects in support of those positions to assist in preparing for meetings, presentations, travel, and tracking follow-up on problems or issues across the division. You will review incoming work, set priorities to expedite workflow, and review progress of work with Public Health Division managers and staff to ensure proper deadlines. You will analyze material provided in response to requests from the directors to ensure completeness and accuracy.
In this position, you will manage the flow of written and oral information for the directors with internal and external customers, including analyzing the quality and timeliness of work to ensure that materials needed for decision-making are collated and available. You will track and triage calendar requests, develop agenda, keep minutes for meetings, and follow up on issues. In addition, you will perform short-term special projects on behalf of the Office of the State Public Health Director in support of the division. These positions serve as general resources and administrative problem solvers to staff at all levels of the Office of the Public Health Director both internally and externally.
