Job Description

The Assistant Director of Admissions for Campus Visit is responsible for managing the Inman Admissions Welcome Center, and provides high-level customer service to visiting students and families. The Assistant Director also manages a student team of Office Assistants.   

Welcome Center Management

·Greets and checks in families for their information session/tour

·Print guest information sheets prior to tour for guides

·Order publications as needed

· Opening and closing Inman

·Orders guest water / coffee as needed

·Sets up information session technology prior to tour

Office Assistant Team Management

·         Schedules all Office Assistant responsibilities for the welcome center and phone coverage

·         Conducts two annual hiring processes for new Office Assistants

·         Plans and executes new hire on-boarding training 

·         Approves all Office Assistant time-sheets

·         Hires and supervises a student coordinator for OA’s.

·         Leads weekly student intern meeting

·         Collaborates with the Events Coordinator for OA needs for events

Campus Visit

·         Manages the Campus Visit email account

·         Assist with the class visit program – prospective student-check 

·         Assist as a faculty liaison for student meetings 

·         Maintains and updates the Campus Visit calendar in Slate 

Bachelor's degree required.
