The communications senior coordinator will support CRCL’s communication and public relations activities. The communications senior coordinator will play a central role in planning and hosting the 2025 State of the Coast conference, the largest gathering of its kind in Louisiana. Secondarily, as a member of the communications team, the coordinator will help create content for and manage the organization’s website and social media; contribute to marketing and development campaigns; help generate digital and print products, including newsletters; and track and analyze data to inform communication activities. The coordinator will also be a member of the communications team of Restore the Mississippi River Delta, a five-organization campaign that includes CRCL. The strongest candidates will bring creativity as well as strong organization skills.
The communications senior coordinator will work closely with the executive director, partner organizations and other staff members in planning and executing the State of the Coast conference, focusing largely on the conference logistics and framework. This conference will be held over three days starting in late May of 2025. The coordinator will work with colleagues, contractors, partners and participants to ensure the conference is useful, engaging, effective and well organized, with communications planning, graphic design, website and app development and overall workflow coordination as the primary focuses.

The coordinator should have experience with writing external-facing communications, with social media platforms, with content management systems such as WordPress and software such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere and Canva.
The Communications Department connects to all other departments within the organization, as well as with the public. The communications senior coordinator should be familiar with Asana and other workflow platforms to coordinate events, graphics, etc. Familiarity with coastal restoration is important. The position will report to the director of communications.
Responsibilities
Coordinate planning of the 2025 State of the Coast conference with event consultants, CRCL staff, Serve Louisiana partners, the Program Committee and others.

Create digital content, including video content, for the organization’s websites: crcl.org, stateofthecoast.org and centralwetlands.org.
Create content for and design printed materials (flyers, pamphlets, etc.); create social media, eblast and newsletter content and manage content across platforms.
Track and analyze data to evaluate the reach of CRCL communications via newsletters, websites, social media.
Manage information, including documents, images, graphics and video, in internal databases.
Work with development and other staff to establish and strengthen visual identity for organization and conference.
Support the application of DEIJ principles internally and externally to increase collaboration with and participation of communities underrepresented in our coastal work.

Must be a highly skilled carpenter with considerable knowledge of standard practices, methodology, techniques and requirements of the carpentry trade. Two years of supervisory experience required. Must have a valid SC Driver’s License, or ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment, as the employee will be required to drive state vehicles to transport equipment and/or personnel. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience an/or education and encourage to apply.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Must have the ability & skill to locate & correct emergency, general, & complex carpentry problems. Must be knowledgeable & skilled in using tools, equipment, materials & supplies of the carpentry trade. Must be able to comprehend blueprints, plans & specifications & know structural support/load bearing requirements. Must also be knowledgeable in all facets of installation, repair, & maintenance of drywall, tile, bricks, pavers, & Formica. Knowledge and experience with historic preservation is a plus. This role, under general supervision, performs support service duties of moderate difficulty in the event support field, pressure washing and minor building maintenance such as replacing ceiling tiles . The successful candidate will work with internal and external teams that optimize the customer service effort at the College. This role, under general supervision, performs support service duties of moderate difficulty in the event support field, pressure washing and minor building maintenance such as replacing ceiling tiles . Minimum Requirements

You will provide administrative support to the Dean as well as perform a variety of administrative support services for special projects, committees, functions and activities for our fifteen diverse, career building programs.

Fields and submits day-to-day Hawkeye Service requests from faculty and staff into Hippo.
Prepares special assignment pay paperwork and overloads pay paperwork.
Updates the full-time faculty list and adjunct lists each semester, including updating the directory and distribution lists.
Prepares, formats, and displays classroom schedules each semester. Tracks any changes that occur.
Prepares, formats, and displays faculty schedules each semester. Tracks any changes that occur.
Tracks faculty syllabi submissions.
Processes requisitions via Colleague, processes faculty special assignment pay, sub pay, and CSAR.
Submits sub pay for faculty as needed.
Prepares advisory committees to include sending invites, tracking attendance, and taking meeting minutes. Updates advisory committee member lists.
Prepares MORE packets for assigned program, including running student evaluations. Fields incoming calls from students and signs them up for the MORE sessions. Notifies Student Services on which session student is attending; check students on the day of their MORE session; and adds the cluster code into Colleague so they can register for classes.
When applicable, maintains and updates clinical contracts for all clinical sites used by HCC. Sends new contracts and tracks for signatures. Maintains clinical site list for faculty use.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Skills : Required – Extremely detail-oriented and well-organized. America Votes Ohio is seeking a well-organized self-starter for a full-time position as the Ohio Program Director. The Ohio Program Director plays a key role in the advancement of the progressive movement and winning elections in the state. This person will be the keeper and coordinator of some of the most exciting progressive electoral and issue work taking place in the state. The position works directly with the America Votes team as well as with dozens of progressive partners across the state in the planning and execution of electoral and advocacy campaigns, the coordination of field programs, and the utilization of best practices to ensure quality plans and maximize our collective efforts. This position is ideal for someone who is ready for a mid-level role in a campaign environment and has a passion for helping others do their best work, loves canvass programs, and is excited about the details and tools that power direct voter contact programs. The position reports directly to the Ohio State Director.

This position is based in Ohio with Columbus preferred and will require travel around the state. The America Votes office is located in Columbus, Ohio.
Responsibilities
Project Management: Support the state director in implementing America Votes' organizational goals, including REI goals. Participate in team creation of work plans and team benchmarks for success. Manage special projects to deliver on team goals.
Partner Support : Support coalition partners through the development of campaign plans (electoral, voting rights and issue campaigns). This may include providing technical and organizing assistance for individual partner organizations or groups of partners, responding to programmatic requests, and supporting the implementation of winning strategies. Develop or co-develop capacity-building opportunities for partners and work with the state team to assess program gaps and overlaps to maximize program impact for both issue and electoral efforts. Work with the state data director to support data needs of partner programs. Portfolio may include some grant management.
Support Coalition Management : Work with the state director by tracking electoral and advocacy programs aligned with the coalition plan, monitoring benchmarks, providing technical assistance including scaling up tactics and basic use of tools like VAN, and identifying gaps in collective strategy. This work may include providing logistical support to coalition meetings, leading core areas of the coalition coordination, leading strategic conversations around winning strategies, and/or managing work groups. Maintaining external communications with partners (i.e. may include weekly emails) and workgroup listservs, meeting follow-up, regular phone calls, etc. Lead and support the creation and development of written reports and products. Support and create content for reports and deliver presentations to diverse sets of stakeholders, sometimes on short timelines.
Direct Voter Contact Leadership : Lead coalition campaign work on field tactics implementation (like canvassing), including supporting the integration of best practices as well as managing universe coverage. Facilitate creative solutions to challenges related to electoral and issue campaigns. Support electoral and advocacy program implementation across partner organizations including script development and program timing and support some partners in using VAN (Voter Activation Network). This work includes planning, implementation, and post-program assessment and may include developing systems or updating existing systems to manage the information.
Program Implementation Management : Lead meetings of coalition partners, which may include work groups on election-related topics such as down ballot (legislative, school board, etc) races. Support events of America Votes partners and allies including coalition meetings and trainings. REQUIRED SKILLS

The compensation range for this role is $65,493 - $80,047. At The Humane League, we believe in maintaining a fair and equitable work environment for all employees. REQUIRED SKILLS
You must have hands-on experience working within a content management system (CMS), Customer Relationship Manager (CRM), Short Message Service (SMS), Project management system, and report building / data visualization platform.

The compensation range for this role is $65,493 - $80,047. At The Humane League, we believe in maintaining a fair and equitable work environment for all employees.
