The Multnomah County Department of Community Justice Juvenile Services Division strives to be a National Model for Juvenile Justice where integrity, commitment, leadership, diversity, inclusion, and compassion are the foundation. The essential functions of this position include:
Oversight, supervision, and leadership to the Restorative Practice Team and Assessment and Evaluation Program
Direct the managers who lead the day-to-day operations of the Assessment and Evaluation (A&E), Courtyard Cafe, and Restorative Services programs.
For the A&E Program, this includes ensuring adherence to Behavioral Rehabilitation Services (BRS) standards as set forth by Oregon Health Authority (OHA) and reviewed by regular audits.
Supervision of staff that includes:
Supervision of two A&E Managers and the A&E Program
Supervision of the Courtyard Cafe Manager and Nutrition Services Program
Supervision of the Restorative Practices Program
Manage 20% of JSD’s FTEs.
Establishes expectations and provides employee performance feedback.
Create a positive work environment and employ a strength-based approach to supervising staff.
Respond to and resolve confidential and sensitive inquiries; investigate complaints and recommend corrective actions as necessary.
Develop and coordinate professional staff development.
Development and management of the budget, contract monitoring, purchasing and accounting functions
Develop justifications and make budgetary recommendations to the DCJ Executive Team for the $6.1 million (approx.) of the JSD budget that they will be responsible for.
Develop, administer, assist, and monitor program budgets.
Assist the Juvenile Services Division Director in preparation, management and oversight of contracts and service delivery.
Forecasts and projects expenditure/revenue impacts and reallocates resources as necessary.
Plan, organize, direct, manage, coordinate and evaluate A&E and restorative programs in JSD.
Assist in the coordination and development of the Juvenile Crime Prevention Plan.
Approve expenditures with strict adherence to County Finance Administrative Procedures.
Analyze and review federal, state, and local laws, regulations, policies, and procedures in order to ensure compliance; conduct analysis on best practices and trends, and formulate and implement recommendations.
Recommend and establish administrative controls and improvements.
Identify, obtain, and manage funding from grants, contracts and other funding streams
Clinical Direction and Oversight for Assessment & Evaluation Behavioral Residential Program
Provide oversight of clinical operations of the program.
Implementation of therapeutic interventions and evidence-based practices.
Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to include other county agencies, clients/families, and community providers to ensure accessibility of services to clients and appropriateness of referral and placements.
Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of programming.
Ensure that treatment programs effectively integrate community supervision, safety, and clinical protocols and mandates.
Initiate continuous program improvement efforts.
Program development, planning, coordination, and implementation
Lead in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and practices for improved outcomes.
Monitors employee compliance with policy and procedure and keeps JSD Director advised of staff issues.
Set goals and objectives for the unit in alignment with the Department’s overall mission and vision.
Continuously review and evaluate the quality of services provided by individual work teams.
Provide leadership, strategy, and advice, driving the programmatic work of the Restorative Practices team.
The Restorative Practices team includes the Hands of Wonder garden, Detention restorative practice coordinator, and Court and Community Services restorative practice coordinator.
The programmatic work includes developing and implementing restorative practice training programs, designing and facilitating, restorative circles or meetings, creating policies and procedures for restorative approaches, evaluating the effectiveness of restorative interventions, and collaborating with other internal and external stakeholders to promote restorative practices.
Provide leadership for interagency collaborations that will improve policies and procedures to better youth and families impacted by the Juvenile Justice system.
Research evidence based practices related to subject matter expertise, including topics on trauma, cultural responsivity, and reducing overrepresentation of marginalized populations in the Juvenile Justice system.

Position Overview
The Division of Developmental Disabilities is seeking to hire an energetic, detail-oriented individual to serve as Director of Fiscal & Support Services for the Mabley Developmental Center located in Dixon, Illinois. The Director of Fiscal and Support Services will organize, plan, control, execute and evaluate the fiscal, business and service operations for the Center. Directs budget preparation and reviews and approves expenditures. Reviews and interprets budget forecasting and provides presentation of forecasting.
Job Responsibilities
Serves as Director of Fiscal and Support Services. Organizes, plans, controls, executes and evaluates the fiscal, business and service operations for the Mabley Developmental Center.
Maintains data placed into the Center’s automated budget database.
Serves as full-line supervisor.
Prepares federal grants.
Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four (4) years college.
Requires three (3) years of progressively responsible administration experience in a public or business organization.
Preferred Qualifications (in priority order)
Two (2) years of professional experience in managing a budget, including designing and developing budget reports and contracts for a public or private organization.
Two (2) years of professional experience in maintaining financial operations for a public or private organization.
Three (3) years of professional experience utilizing automated accounting systems and financial spreadsheets.
Two (2) years of professional experience communicating with both internal and external stakeholders in oral or written form ensuring detailed and critical analysis of work performed including writing complex objectives and justifications for contract establishments.
Two (2) years of professional experience ensuring policies, reporting and recordkeeping meet the requirements of State and Federal guidelines in a private or public organization.

Position Overview
The Division of Developmental Disabilities is seeking to hire an energetic, detail-oriented individual to serve as Director of Fiscal & Support Services for the Mabley Developmental Center located in Dixon, Illinois. The Director of Fiscal and Support Services will organize, plan, control, execute and evaluate the fiscal, business and service operations for the Center. Directs budget preparation and reviews and approves expenditures. Reviews and interprets budget forecasting and provides presentation of forecasting.
Job Responsibilities
Serves as Director of Fiscal and Support Services. Organizes, plans, controls, executes and evaluates the fiscal, business and service operations for the Mabley Developmental Center.
Maintains data placed into the Center’s automated budget database.
Serves as full-line supervisor.
Prepares federal grants.

Minimum Qualifications
1. Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four (4) years college.
Requires three (3) years of progressively responsible administration experience in a public or business organization.
Preferred Qualifications (in priority order)
Two (2) years of professional experience in managing a budget, including designing and developing budget reports and contracts for a public or private organization.
Two (2) years of professional experience in maintaining financial operations for a public or private organization.
Three (3) years of professional experience utilizing automated accounting systems and financial spreadsheets.

America Votes is currently seeking a Development & Grants Assistant to join our diverse and high performing Development & Grants team. Reporting to the Director of Development, the Development & Grants Assistant serves as the backbone of department operations by ensuring all administrative processes are in place to execute the department's work. Support the productions of various donor communications including research, content collection, copy-editing, etc.

Compensation

America Votes is currently seeking a Development & Grants Assistant to join our diverse and high performing Development & Grants team. Reporting to the Director of Development, the Development & Grants Assistant serves as the backbone of department operations by ensuring all administrative processes are in place to execute the department's work. Compensation

FCC General Class License, SBE Certifications, Computer Networking certifications (Comp TIA+ or CCNA), and VMWare certification desired.
Experience maintaining and troubleshooting high power TV transmitters and antenna systems along with in-depth knowledge of ATSC encoding, modulation, and signal analysis methodologies.
Experience supporting Live Television Production activities.
A combination of ten (10) years of Television/Radio Broadcast engineering, hands-on experience including supervisory roles in a unionized or non-unionized environment. Successful candidate must have excellent communication skills and excellent team leadership skills.
Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays on short notice as needed, and as part of on-call broadcast-critical escalation.
A valid driver's license with a good driving record.
Good understanding of applicable FCC rules and regulations
Computer literacy in applicable software packages (Microsoft OS and Office Suite)
Working knowledge of computer networking technology.
Ability to troubleshoot broadcast equipment to the component level.
Familiarity with Ross, SSL, VizRT and Weather Company software/hardware products a plus.

Civic Nation is seeking an Executive Vice President (EVP) of Development and Corporate Partnerships to lead the organization’s fundraising operation and oversee relationships with major corporate and philanthropic partners. Reporting to and working closely with the Chief Executive Officer, the EVP is responsible for leading a high-performing team, creating and successfully implementing a diversified fundraising plan that meets the organization’s annual budgetary needs and strengthens the foundation for long-term sustainability.
The EVP will serve as a member of Civic Nation’s senior leadership team, playing an important role in shaping priorities, identifying opportunities, and informing decisions about the future direction of the organization. RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy
Oversee and expand upon Civic Nation’s fundraising and corporate partnerships strategies focused on individual, corporate, and institutional major donors that fosters long-term sustainability and takes advantage of current trends and opportunities to enhance organizational impact.
Create new strategies to expand and diversify the organization’s revenue generating partnerships, leveraging key leaders on our Board and executive and senior leadership.
Oversee the implementation of regular donor communications and engagement activities, including donor events and briefings.
Management & Operations
Manage, supervise, and support the Development & Corporate Partnerships staff in close collaboration with the Development Director and Director of Corporate Partnerships.
Partner with the CEO on all aspects of fundraising activities and responsibilities, and work closely with Chief Strategy Officer, Chief Finance Officer, and other members of the executive and senior leadership to ensure alignment between organization-wide goals and the team’s priorities.
Ensure strong cultivation and stewardship of current and prospective major individual and institutional donors across the organization, and grow, maintain and manage a personal portfolio of relationships with major donors and corporate partners.
Review and improve fundraising messaging and materials.
Liaise with key staff to ensure grant compliance.

12+ years’ experience in fundraising and partnerships.

Responsibilities include ensuring effective grant management working with the Finance and Legal teams, supporting preparation of grant proposals and reports, overseeing Institutional Giving data management, and facilitating the Institutional Giving team’s stewardship and engagement of institutional funders and prospects.
Responsibilities :
Maintain the Institutional Giving team’s records in the Salesforce donor database, including data entry and running reports on the team’s goals/performance and other information.
Maintain the team’s shared drive for document management and organization, including all grant agreements, submitted proposals and reports.
Oversee Institutional Giving operations processes, workflows, and systems to ensure efficiency and accuracy across the team, including updating or developing new systems, as needed.
Help contribute to and track the team’s racial justice and equity work and help ensure an inclusive organizational culture.
Update the team's language library to organize template proposals and reports, and relevant program language to ensure content is up-to-date, easily accessible and reflects our commitment to racial justice and equity.
Run the incoming grant review process, including serving as team liaison with the financial, legal, and executive teams to get approval and signature for grants, as necessary.
Manage the team’s shared worklog to ensure that all funder deliverables (LOIs, proposals, reports, etc.) and other tasks are completed and submitted in a timely and professional manner.
Support the team in grant submission and reporting including navigating grant submission portals, formatting and uploading materials in accordance to the guidelines of a variety of funders.
Maintain the Institutional Giving team’s standard proposal supplemental materials.
Provide administrative support for internal coordination meetings with program staff and other departments, including scheduling and preparation of materials.
Coordinate with the Financial & Budget Analyst and the Director of Grants Management to acquire necessary financial documents for proposals and reports.
Coordinate and track the stewardship and cultivation activities of the institutional giving team to ensure that existing funders and priority prospects receive frequent high-quality opportunities to engage with and learn more about LCVEF and LCV programs. This includes communications such as thank you letters, acknowledgment letters, impact reports, and invitations to in-person and virtual events.
Maintain an annual engagement calendar, manage the production of funder materials in coordination with the Development marketing team, and collaborate with the events team on funder engagement through events.
Collect data and statistics that will support the Institutional Giving team with grant proposals and reports.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date grant information and contact information in Salesforce, and develop database-driven reporting systems.
Prepare regular fundraising progress reports for the team and executive leadership.
Support the team with other day-to-day development activities as needed.
Travel up to 5% of the time for staff retreats, conferences, and professional development opportunities, as needed.
Qualifications :
Work Experience: Required - Minimum of 3 years of administrative or project management experience. Experience working with a CRM database. Preferred - Experience working with the Salesforce database. Experience reviewing grant agreements in order to determine restrictions on the use of funds.
Skills: Excellent organization and project management skills. Excellent follow-through and attention to detail, with the ability to track and maintain multiple critical priorities and take ownership of routine tasks. Excellent written and oral communication skills and a strong orientation toward collaboration and teamwork. Effective at managing up and sideways across departments. Works well in a fast-paced environment and is able to multitask without sacrificing the quality of the work. Reliable, consistent, detail-oriented and self-motivated. Adept at maintaining systems for easy access to information and data. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Proficiency with Google Suite (Drive, Sheets, Docs). Database management skills.

Working Conditions: This job operates in a professional office environment, and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and audiovisual systems. This position is largely sedentary, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods. Applicants need to be located in and legally authorized to work in the United States.
