The Business Analyst and Transformation Team Support position is a key part of the Project Management Plus team that defines, manages, and evaluates Edge-to-Cloud transformation business plans to ensure they are operationally executable against key strategic objectives. This is an early career role that will provide opportunity for development and growth. The person in this position will lead and partner with cross-functional teams to develop short-term transformation plans. In addition, they prepare comprehensive transformation squad implementation tactics, including execution plans, resource allocation plans, follow-up guidelines, assessment, and process accountabilities. They also ensure that PM+ activities are aligned with stated plans among different stakeholders. They review PM+ and E2C OKR metrics, evaluate actual performance, and make recommendations to PM+ and E2C leaders on performance target achievement. They develop data-driven analyses to optimize squad sprint and ensure that transformation plans can be translated into financial, customer and operational outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Review business requirements and assesses appropriate transformation requirements. Creates recommendations to PM+ squads including adoption of new tools, processes and methodologies.
  • Conducts and summarizes complex data and business analyses to develop business plans, including revenue and demand projections, workforce optimization, and channel management.
  • Constructs statistical and financial models with minimal direction to forecast business performance.
  • Support Executive Leadership to execute aaS transformational goals.
  • Assist with production of high quality leadership meetings to discuss and calibrate aaS transformation plans.
  • Executes market research projects, gathers intelligence on current industry, technology, and consumer trends, and summarizes research findings tailored to business needs.
  • Works with cross-functional teams to facilitate the data collection and performance measurement process, and escalates issues as necessary. Makes contributions to research and analyses on priority projects within established guidelines.
  • Provides PM+ Leader and Team support, including working with Strategy & Operations Lead to deliver transformative events. Manages PM+ cadence and stand-ups, including reviewing backlog, undertaking PM+ retrospectives and transformation governance as required.

Education and Experience Required:

Typically 2-4 years experience in strategy, planning, operations, finance, or related functional area. First level university degree.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of research methodology and the ability to manage data requests.
  • Strong analytical thinking, technical analysis, and data manipulation skills.
  • Ability to learn and draw on new analytical techniques.
  • Self-directed analytical thinker who thrives in a nimble and innovative environment.
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, Access, statistical analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibility.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Developing project management skills.
