Job Purpose
Institutional Research Data Architect designs systems for and manages complex data to support the data-driven decision-making functions of the institution. This position serves to support the Office of Institutional Research in providing a first-class reporting structure for national and state accountability reporting including IPEDS and SC CHE . The Office of Institutional Research serves a critical function for the College of Charleston in providing data to senior administrators, the College community, and external agencies.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, mathematics/statistics, engineering, management information science, data processing or related field and experience with Tableau, Cognos/Argos, SQL , and/or SAS is required. Experience with data mining, including techniques of data extraction, documentation, analysis, and reporting is required. Experience working in a higher education environment is preferred. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply.

Responds to emergency and non-emergency service related phone calls, e-mails, and work orders from staff and inquiries from the public requiring interpretation, data research, and independent judgment in determining the appropriate response; explains policies and procedures to customers; evaluates calls for service to determine cause of problem; and dispatches appropriate crew or technician. Coordinates water meter readings with JCSA Operations staff; initiates work orders for new or terminated service, water flow checks, meter leaks, water quality and related work, communicating results as needed either verbally or in writing with customers.
Administers JCSA Grinder Pump Maintenance Agreement program; determines potential customer eligibility, coordinates and schedules inspections by Operations field staff, issues denial letters and ensures accuracy of billing related to associated fees.
Tracks JCSA loan and connection fee payments; generates related reports, invoices and payment vouchers; initiates collection process on delinquent accounts; processes deposits and assigns appropriate general ledger account code.

Job Purpose
The Director of Sustainability provides guidance and vision for the Center for Sustainable Development ( CSD ) by fulfilling the College’s goal of fostering a culture of innovation to support sustainable solutions. This position manages the Associate Director, Zero Waste Manager, as well as well as student graduate assistants and interns that work in the office. The Center for Sustainable Development Manager will work closely with stakeholders across the organization and community, as well as the other department heads within Facilities Management.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree related to environmental science, environmental studies, sustainability or directly related fields and three (3) to five (5) years of work experience leading sustainability initiatives for a large organization. Master’s degree related to environmental science, environmental studies, sustainability or directly related field is preferred. Proven experience in higher education leading sustainability programming is desired. LEED Accredited Professional or closely related sustainability credentials is also preferred. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply.

Must have advanced knowledge and proficiency of the various aspects of sustainability on a large college campus. A demonstrated ability to identify and formulate long-term sustainability direction and goals with the ability to translate these long-term goals into short-term action items and operational activities is required. A cooperative and collaborative leadership style that emphasizes inclusion, integrity, honesty, openness and fairness is required. Must have leadership and management experience and skills focused around program development and execution, as well as, demonstrated ability to work across silos and between multiple entities to achieve stated goals or objectives is required. Strong customer service orientation and a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships throughout the College with a diverse student body, faculty, staff and the Charleston community is also required. Must have a working knowledge in all Microsoft Office Suite, Google programs, Canva, social media outlets and MailChimp. Demonstrated excellence in communicating complex or technical information verbally and in writing is preferred. Proven experience in higher education leading sustainability programming is desired. LEED Accredited Professional or closely related sustainability credentials is also preferred. Must have advanced knowledge and proficiency of the various aspects of sustainability on a large college campus. A demonstrated ability to identify and formulate long-term sustainability direction and goals with the ability to translate these long-term goals into short-term action items and operational activities is required. A cooperative and collaborative leadership style that emphasizes inclusion, integrity, honesty, openness and fairness is required. Must have leadership and management experience and skills focused around program development and execution, as well as, demonstrated ability to work across silos and between multiple entities to achieve stated goals or objectives is required. Strong customer service orientation and a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships throughout the College with a diverse student body, faculty, staff and the Charleston community is also required. Must have a working knowledge in all Microsoft Office Suite, Google programs, Canva, social media outlets and MailChimp. Demonstrated excellence in communicating complex or technical information verbally and in writing is preferred. What makes this role unique? You will assist your team members on the Technical Team to ensure we are receiving all necessary new hire paperwork for new employees, and for any internal movement actions for existing Ecology employees. You will help complete student loan forgiveness forms, verifications of employment forms, some inquiries from the Employment Security Department, assist with HRMS entry for select actions, and help to ensure our central files are up-to-date and maintained. What you will do:
Manage the onboarding paperwork for Washington Conservation Corps (WCC) and Ecology Youth Corps (EYC) members, by accurately entering new/rehires and separations into in the Human Resource Management System (HRMS), complete Personnel Action Forms (PA40’s) for EYC crew members and submit paperwork to our payroll partners.
Track paperwork for all Ecology hires, to ensure we are receiving all necessary new hire forms. These forms include employee information, affirmative action and demographics, I-9, new employee checklists, and emergency contact.
Complete Public Service Loan Forgiveness forms as they are received.
Receive and complete employment verifications received via telephone, fax, email, or mail by verifying employment of current or former employees in a timely manner. Process and complete necessary forms or letters, providing our payroll partners with the necessary forms to complete the request.
Assist in maintaining up-to-date position and personnel files. This includes printing completed, approved paperwork, and filing them in the appropriate place in the correct file.

Required Qualifications: Years of required experience indicated below are full-time equivalent years. Full-time equivalent experience means that any experience where working hours were less than 40 hours per week will be prorated in order to meet the equivalency of full-time. We would calculate this by looking at the total hours worked per week, divide this by 40, and then multiply by the total number of months worked. Examples of the proration calculations are:
30 hours worked per week for 20 months: (30/40) x 20 months = 15 months full-time equivalent

Duties
What makes this role unique?
In this role you will, organize and effectively prioritize multiple competing tasks and have the opportunity to work on fast paced issues which are part of the Governor’s key priorities. You will be part of and support a team with diverse skills and expertise to further our environmental mission. Assist with time management by working closely with managers to ensure that calendars are kept up to date and accurate.

Complete and process internal and external correspondence, including typing, proofreading/formatting, distributing, and filing documents reflecting agency standards to ensure it is clear and concise.

LCV is hiring an Administrative Associate to the President’s Office who will provide administrative support to the Chief of Staff and overall support for the functioning and culture-building efforts of the President’s Office. This position includes frequent interfacing with the Executive Team, senior staff, and external partners, including on occasion board members. We are seeking an exceptionally organized and efficient individual with high attention to detail who also thinks holistically about the needs and expectations of the President’s Office. The ideal candidate is creative, self-driven, organized and committed to centering racial justice and equity (RJE) in our work. The candidate must possess a high level of trust and integrity as they will handle confidential and sensitive information. Responsibilities:
Administration
Assist the Chief of Staff with administrative tasks, scheduling support, writing, travel logistics, reimbursements and expense reports, as needed.
Support the Chief of Staff in the development and execution of weekly full-staff meetings including topic development, collection of weekly departmental updates, confirmation of presenters, coordination with interpreters, and preparing announcements of arriving and departing staff.
Provide logistical and in-person support for bi-annual executive team retreats, quarterly board meetings, and annual full staff retreat including: ordering and receiving food and supplies, preparing materials, coordinating the setting up and cleaning of physical space.
Provide logistical support for virtual and in-person meetings, and lead note-taking and disseminating follow-ups in several regularly occurring meetings, including confidential executive team and occasional board-related meetings.
Archive all department wide materials and documents and ensure files are retained consistent with organizational policy, including appropriate use of Google Drive and organizational network drive.
Contribute to the team with other projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Work Experience: Required – At least 1 year of experience in administrative support for a team. Preferred – Experience working directly for someone in senior leadership in an organization; experience doing so in a non-profit, political organization or campaign. Experience working on organizational culture and/or community building.
Skills: Required – Highly attentive to details and able to take ownership of routine tasks. Excellent written and oral communications skills, and proficient in word processing, spreadsheets and databases. Adept at maintaining systems for easy access to information and data. Administration

Support the Chief of Staff in the development and execution of weekly full-staff meetings including topic development, collection of weekly departmental updates, confirmation of presenters, coordination with interpreters, and preparing announcements of arriving and departing staff.
Provide logistical and in-person support for bi-annual executive team retreats, quarterly board meetings, and annual full staff retreat including: ordering and receiving food and supplies, preparing materials, coordinating the setting up and cleaning of physical space.

Work closely with management regarding client grievances and concerns about treatment.

Create and maintain subgrant and contract agreements with partners and contractors, including processing all payments, and amending agreements when necessary

Track progress in delivering the Knowledge and Learning work plan and assist the Director of Knowledge and Learning in supporting team to meet targets and goals
Coordinate with consultants and external partners to arrange meetings and manage collaboration as assigned
Provide well-rounded proactive operations and management advice to the Director of Knowledge and Learning to ensure sound implementation of projects per donor standards and in resolving operational and coordination issues
Manage the Knowledge and Learning team inputs into internal project management systems, including outreach and engagement tracking with members
Manage, update, and ensure proper team use of the Knowledge and Learning team’s internal SharePoint, Monday.com workspace, and mailing lists
Event Coordination, Logistics and Outreach (25%):
Organize and ensure the successful execution of in-person workshops and events, including contracting and making necessary payments for venues, facilitation services, interpretation services, catering, availability of materials, and any other needed services
Arrange travel for participants, in keeping with donor requirements and NDC Partnership budgets
Complete participant travel reimbursements, ensuring proper documentation. Help with staff travel arrangements and expense reports as needed
Provide logistics support for online events including Zoom administration, participant and attendee tracking and regular updating of member engagement monitoring systems
Coordinate Knowledge and Learning inputs to internal and external NDC Partnership newsletters. Promote Knowledge and Learning activities, products, and events through outreach to members and placement in external mailing lists
Prepare talking points and slide-decks, as needed. Give team presentations on agreed topics, as needed
Administration (15%):
Liaise with Knowledge and Learning team members to structure team meetings and encourage cross team exchange
Attend internal and external meetings, taking notes and tracking follow-ups with staff and partners
Coordinate and schedule internal and external Knowledge and Learning meetings. Assist with recruitment of staff, interns, and consultants
Manage Knowledge and Learning onboarding materials and lead the onboarding of new staff members
Support the Knowledge and Learning Director in administrative needs, including scheduling, travel, email, communications, and general organizational needs
Serve as the go-to person for the Knowledge and Learning team's ad-hoc administrative needs
What will you need:
Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field or with substantial professional work to demonstrate the relevance of that experience
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant full time work experience required
Experience in event management and budgeting processes
At least one year of hands-on experience, ideally within an international nonprofit organization
At least one year working with Microsoft suite, database management, cloud- and web-based communications
Advanced Excel skills required
.Spanish/French language skills an asset
US work authorization required for this position
Potential Salary: Salary range is between 57,000 and 64,000 USD. Salary is commensurate with experience and other compensable factors.

The NDC Partnership brings together more than 200 members, including more than 115 countries, developed and developing, and more than 80 institutions to create and deliver on ambitious climate action that helps achieve the Paris Agreement and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Governments identify their NDC implementation priorities and the type of support that is needed to translate them into actionable policies and programs. Based on these requests, the membership offers a tailored package of expertise, technical assistance, and funding.
