Under the direction of the Program Coordinator for the CDC Latino MSM Program, the prevention training specialist will help develop, implement, monitor and evaluate all approaches used to recruit and retain young Latino men who have sex with men (YMSM) ages 18 - 39 into HIV care and biomedical (PrEP/PEP) services, as well as develop role model stories in alignment with the PROMISE for High Impact Prevention (HIP) intervention.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Utilize virtual and in-persons outreach strategies to recruit, engage, and provide sexual health education activities/services to Latino MSM

What are we looking for?
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience

Under the direction of the Operations Department’s Deputy Chief of Staff, the Office Manager:
Maintains Operations Department processes, systems, and structures, including routine internal meetings, team calendar, documents, and systems needed for optimal functioning of the Department

About the Role
Under the direction of the President & Co-founder , the Democracy Summit Project Manager will lead the 2021 Summit. This role is responsible for guiding the event from ideation to execution and managing the events team made up of consultants and RepresentUs staff.
Location is flexible, and we currently allow staff to work from home during COVID-19 for safety. This position is a full-time temporary role ending November 30, 2021.
What You’ll Be Doing
Manage Summit staff and consultant event team; recruit, hire, and train additional team members as needed .
Oversee the work of the event team, including assigning tasks, supervising work, and ensuring deliverables and deadlines are met.
Design and implement team operating processes, project management systems, and project timelines.
Manage the Summit budget and work within budget constraints.
Stay up to date on convening best practices and implement learnings for the summit.
Ensure that Summit is aligned with the organization’s diversity, equity, and inclusion objectives and that it is a diverse, equitable, and inclusive event.
Maintain alignment between Summit and organizational goals and democracy reform movement needs.

Since the inaugural Unrig Summit in 2018, participants have gone on to lead the largest wave of democracy reform victories in American history, including spearheading anti-gerrymandering initiatives in four states, (MI, UT, CO, MO), winning ethics, transparency, and campaign finance reforms in cities and states across the country, and restoring the vote to 1.4M citizens in Florida.
About the Role
Under the direction of the President & Co-founder , the Democracy Summit Project Manager will lead the 2021 Summit. This role is responsible for guiding the event from ideation to execution and managing the events team made up of consultants and RepresentUs staff.
Location is flexible, and we currently allow staff to work from home during COVID-19 for safety. This position is a full-time temporary role ending November 30, 2021.
What You’ll Be Doing
Manage Summit staff and consultant event team; recruit, hire, and train additional team members as needed .
Oversee the work of the event team, including assigning tasks, supervising work, and ensuring deliverables and deadlines are met.
Design and implement team operating processes, project management systems, and project timelines.
Manage the Summit budget and work within budget constraints.
Stay up to date on convening best practices and implement learnings for the summit.
Ensure that Summit is aligned with the organization’s diversity, equity, and inclusion objectives and that it is a diverse, equitable, and inclusive event.
Maintain alignment between Summit and organizational goals and democracy reform movement needs.
Serve as event lead with consultants on the ground in the lead up to and during the event.
Support and fully understand all facets of the event from start to finish.
Skills and Experience
5 or more years experience in large-scale project management and conference or event planning.
You are a leader accustomed to managing, training, and motivating teams (often temporary and local to event locations) under pressure to meet goals and deadlines.

We’re looking for a talented DevOps Engineer to join our team and take our cloud infrastructure global!
At Supernatural we move fast in a rigorous and creative environment. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, comfortable with exploring unfamiliar infrastructure and tools and testing their usage, and taking initiative in solving tough problems. You will be a core team member responsible for developing and building out our global server infrastructure.
The impact you'll make:
Develop and implement architectural solutions to enable the continued rapid growth of our user base
Improve CI/CD processes to facilitate quick iteration by our developers
Assist developers and management in understanding the pros and cons of infrastructural changes
Ensure secure access to cloud-based infrastructure is provided to all remote employees who need it
Initially maintain, and ultimately replace “pets” with “cattle”
What you'll need to be successful:
Strong (5+ years) multi-region & multi-account cloud infrastructure design, management and deployment experience in AWS
2+ years of software development experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages for server-side development
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience
Experience administering and contributing to “always-on” servers, services, and APIs using tools and languages like Python, Go, and JavaScript (NodeJS)
Experience using build and deployment tools, e.g. Jenkins, Docker, Elastic Container Registry, Google Cloud Build, Drone
Highly organized and analytical with a critical eye
Experience working collaboratively with a professional team

About The Role
Under the direction of the National Mobilization Director, the Member Engagement Manager will lead our national member email and SMS programs, activating our membership and keeping them engaged to help campaigns win.
This role is responsible for overseeing RepresentUs’ overall email program and SMS organizing strategy to activate new audiences and deepen their engagement with the movement. In this role, the organizer will manage the organization's email and SMS programs to tell the story of our movement, bring new and existing supporters up a ladder of engagement, and retain existing supporters.
Location is flexible, and we currently allow staff to work from home during COVID-19 for safety.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Directing RepresentUs’ overall email and SMS strategy, working in conjunction with the National Mobilization Director to set and define goals for the email and SMS programs.
- Managing the email and SMS calendars, making sure emails and texts are drafted, sent, tested, and results are recorded.
- Writing advocacy, informational, and fundraising emails for hundreds of thousands of supporters and ensuring they get sent to the correct audiences without mistakes.
- Designing and testing automated messaging series (welcome series, re-engagement messaging) to move members up the ladder of engagement.
- Drafting, loading, segmenting and checklisting SMS messages.
- Coordinating with stakeholders across the organization to support the mobilization and recruitment of volunteers and donors across the country;
- Monitoring and improving email deliverability to ensure our messaging is delivered;
- Developing and tracking metrics to measure programs effectiveness;
- Ensuring content on all email and landing pages is up to date and relevant;
- Owning the email and SMS CRM and platform within the national program.
- Executing other responsibilities and tasks as needed.
Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated digital organizing experience;
- Experience managing an email and SMS program on a political campaign or organization with at least 100,000 list members;
- Excellent writing skills: You can craft emotionally-compelling copy about wonky issues and spark action;
- Strong proficiency with email CRMs and platforms like ActionKit;
- Strong proficiency with texting tools such as Spoke, Hustle, ThruText, Mobile Commons or other SMS tools;
- Knowledge and experience building automated messaging series and segmenting audiences;
- Ability to analyze data and use your results to inform future messaging strategies;
- Commitment to working beyond partisanship is required. Previous experience working with cross-partisan coalitions is preferred – candidates without this experience will be considered if they can speak to how they would approach working across the aisle.
