We have an immediate need for a full-time, exempt Diaper Program Manager (DPM). This position will manage our Diaper Distribution program. The salary range for the DPM position is $60,000 - $68,000, commensurate with experience. This position will work five days a week, with four days (Monday - Thursday) being onsite at 8860 Monard Drive, Silver Spring, MD 20910.
What we’re looking for
Reporting to our Director of Operations, the DPM will be the main point of contact for the Diaper Distribution program, which provides 10M+ diapers each year to over 40,000 babies. The DPM has a strong grounding in the regional nonprofit landscape and has effectively stewards relationships with our large network of community and government partners, as well as helps to anticipate partner needs. This role works closely with the Partnerships & Impact and the Operations teams to communicate with partners about the program, manage the flow of orders and inventory, and help collect data. This DPM will help lead existing programs as well as help develop new programs as the organization grows.

Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. Master’s degree in social work, nonprofit management, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of two years in the nonprofit space.

Constantly communicating with others to exchange information. Ability to work efficiently in a moderate-to-loud office environment, given the proximity of warehouse operations.

What we’re looking for
Reporting to our Executive Director, the Director of Development will be the lead strategist for managing a comprehensive development strategy and building long-term growth opportunities for GDCDB. This role serves as our primary liaison with individual and institutional donors, having oversight of a roughly $3 million philanthropic revenue portfolio. To be successful, the Director of Development will also serve as project manager over all tactical elements necessary to qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward gifts from current and potentials donors—leveraging hands-on experience to carry out the lifecycle processes (i.e., conduct research, complete grant applications, develop proposals, prepare reporting deliverables, monitor revenue tracking, etc. Additionally, the position will lead the analysis and fine-tuning of optimal development communications at every opportunity.

What you’ll bring along
Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
Experience: Minimum of six to eight years of nonprofit development experience. Demonstrable experience as a fundraising generalist, with hands-on practice at institutional giving/grant writing, major gifts, annual giving, corporate partnership building, special events, and online giving campaigns. Experience managing and improving development operations, ranging from CRM management to budget monitoring to gift processing. Proficient working knowledge of Salesforce.
Minimum of three years of managerial experience in supervisory staff. Experience working with volunteers of all levels and liaising with contractors and consultants.
