Informs CBO, Code Official or TED Field Projects Supervisor of inspection activities and issues in the field.
Responds to emergency callouts after regular working hours, if needed.
Maintains inspection logs, records and files.
Cross trains with current TED-Building Inspectors.
Attend training and continuing education events.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Credentials and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Three years of experience in construction, inspection, plan review or related field required
Valid Illinois Driver’s License.
Preferred Credentials and Experience
ICC Residential Building Inspector Certification
ICC Commercial Building Inspector Certification
