Job Description

Concrete Finishers Eastern Iowa Excavating & Concrete, LLC is looking to hire experienced concrete finishers to join our company. Our projects are centered around public municipals and are located within a 100-mile radius of Cascade, IA. Looking for individuals who have some experience working with concrete and sidewalks. Seeking candidates who are prompt, can work with others and pay attention to detail. Good dependable work ethic is required for these positions. The successful candidate will have knowledge of various hand and power tools. These are full-time positions, with the normal work schedule of Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work required as job duties demand. No overnight travel. Form and pour Intake Inserts and Manholes Role curb and gutter Strike-off concrete to proper grades Apply texture and cure to concrete paving and flatwork Run a straight edge behind a paver Set Bars and P Stakes Read hubs and set string line for handwork, curb machines and paving operations Cut curbs with a quick saw after soft cut has gone through Skid Loader Operator – grading operations and street clean-up Perform simple on-site maintenance of equipment Operate saws safely with the knowledge of joint depths and timing of cuts Maintain positive work environment and team player attitude Job safety knowledge/10-hour OSHA Certification desired DOT PCC Level 1 Certification optional Class A CDL preferred
