Job Description
Evaluates applications for permits and modification of permits for activities or work in waters of the United States.
Monitors compliance with permits and conducts investigation of unauthorized work.
Develops and recommends resolution of enforcement actions.
Assists with the development and implementation of programmatic initiatives and requirements.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Nashville District, encompasses over 59,000 square miles and includes parts of seven states. It has regulatory, flood control, navigation, hydropower, and recreational responsibility for the Cumberland River watershed, and regulatory and navigation responsibility for most of the Tennessee River watershed.
