Senior Cyber Analyst (#1935925)

PeopleTec is seeking a Senior Cyber Analyst to support our Huntsville, AL location.

The candidate will support a variety of cybersecurity efforts to include activities such as cyber vulnerability assessments, software assurance, cyber modeling & simulation, penetration testing, cyber policy implementation, and auditing. This individual will work with our team of cyber analysts and engineers to increase the cybersecurity posture of our Government and commercial customers' mission systems. This candidate will research cyber threats to mission networks and help our customers mitigate cyber risk to mission.

Duties Include:

• Provide cybersecurity policy implementation guidance to customers
• Leverage knowledge of Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs) to support cybersecurity hardening efforts in a lab environment
• Lead and conduct cyber vulnerability assessments of enterprise, weapon, and space-based systems and recommend best cybersecurity practices to government customers to mitigate vulnerabilities
• Develop custom hardware/software solutions to harden cyber physical systems
• Research cyber hardening techniques and apply solutions to customer systems
• Research and develop novel hardware/software exploitation techniques
• Provide mission and software assurance support to customers
• Design and enhance cyber M&S ranges to provide test architecture for CEMA vulnerability assessments of mission systems
• Use knowledge of OCO and DCO approaches to develop and define OCO techniques that evade DCO analysts and countermeasures
• Author technical reports of assessments, results, and recommended mitigations
• Proactively engage with customers by presenting project updates, technical details, and demonstrations
• Support business development and proposal activities to grow CEMA work areas and customers

Required Skills / Experience:

• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity
• Experience with eMASS and RMF
• In-depth understanding of cyber security policies, tools, threat mitigations, network topologies, and secure networks
• One or more of the following certifications: Security+, CISSP, GIAC, GISCP, CISA, GPEN, CEH, or Pentest+
• Technical and project leadership experience
• Excellent thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experienced at self-starting, seeking solutions, and works well in a team environment
• Travel: up to 10% during safe travel conditions
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.
• Candidates will be required to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance during their employment.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business Management, or related field
