Position Summary:
The Assistant Curator of Saltwater will help oversee the care of the saltwater animals as well as supervise staff. Reporting to the Curator of Saltwater, this position will develop, implement and enforce policies and procedures relevant to the personnel and the Saltwater collection at Loveland Living Planet Aquarium. This individual will also help orchestrate all aspects of animal care, including but not limited to; acquisition, disposition, record keeping, husbandry, enrichment, implementation of balanced and nutritional diets, translocations, medical procedures and vaccinations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Zoology, Biology or related field
A minimum 7 years’ proven experience in an aquarium or zoo environment, demonstrating a proven record of animal husbandry, enrichment and exhibition of a variety reptiles, amphibians, fish and invertebrates
Critical Skills/Competencies:
Awareness of current animal issues in zoos and aquariums and outside in the wild
Ability to successfully manage the animal collection
Understand exhibit design and construction
Recognize any deficiencies in exhibit or animal holding facilities

Help schedule, assign and direct Saltwater staff and volunteers, as-needed, which includes performance management and disciplinary action

Reporting to the Associate General Counsel & Director of Contract Administration, as a member of Centuri’s Office of the General Counsel, you will support all business units and subsidiaries by providing leadership and direction that will mitigate the Company’s exposure in the context of legal issues and compliance requirements.
What You'll Do
Review and analyze various contracts, agreements, and legal documents to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws
Draft, edit, and negotiate contracts, including but not limited to contracts, subcontracts, vendor agreements, service (including SaaS) agreements and real estate leases
Conduct due diligence related to potential acquisitions, business transactions and partnerships
Provide legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on contractual matters, risk management, litigation and compliance issues
Perform legal research concerning miscellaneous legal issues in the various jurisdictions in which the Company operates throughout North America
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address legal concerns and ensure business objectives are met
Support outside counsel representing the Company or its subsidiaries
Assess and mitigate legal risks associated with contract terms and conditions
Implement and manage an efficient contract lifecycle management system
Stay updated on relevant laws and industry regulations affecting the company's operations

What You'll Have
Juris Doctorate degree

Human Resources Director (Rathgeber Village Campus)
SAFE Alliance seeks a Human Resources Director for the Administrative & Executive Program in the Human Resources & Training Department. The main responsibilities involve skillfully designing and implementing human resources policies, processes, programs, and systems (such as payroll/HRIS). Job Summary

As the Grounds Maintenance Specialist will maintain and improve turf, plants, shrubs, ground covers, paths, walkways, trails, parking lots, sports fields, play equipment, and recreation facilities in county park/grounds, and downtown campus locations. The work involves performing heavy manual labor, herbicide application, and using specialized equipment, machines, and hand tools. Responsibilities will also include maintaining, restocking and cleaning restrooms and may provide supervision and training to small groups of temporary workers, volunteers, and offender crews. The position may include swing shift and weekends. This position is represented by Local 307CO - Washington State Council of County and City Employees
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Any combination of training and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities will be considered.
Two years of experience involving parks or grounds maintenance; landscape construction and/or maintenance or any other labor-intensive work experience that directly involves the skills required to operate landscape related machinery, small tools, power tools, vehicles or equipment.
Must possess a valid motor vehicles operator’s license.
Must possess or obtain within five (5) months of hire a Commercial Driver’s License Class A with ‘N’ tanker endorsement.
Must be able to obtain a commercial Public Pesticide Applicators License within five months of hire.
Must be able to successfully pass a criminal record check that includes fingerprinting
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and will be subject to random drug testing throughout employment
Be able to work outdoors with exposure to a variety of weather conditions including extreme heat and cold
Assignments are labor intensive which require the physical ability to stand and/or walk while manipulating a variety of tools to perform assigned tasks.
Work requires the ability to navigate on uneven terrain, bend, crouch, reach, and lift to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
May be required to obtain Playground Safety Inspection Certification by The National Playground Safety Institute.
Washington State Flagger’s certification preferred

Duties may include but are not limited to the following:
Construct and maintain shrub and turf areas in parks, medians, green spaces; turf area aeration and thatching; pruning shrubs, trees and undergrowth; mowing of turf areas in parks, sports fields, and County rights-of-way.
Operate a variety of complex equipment necessary to create, maintain and repair grounds and facilities. Examples of equipment operated include: pickup, bucket truck, hook lift truck, backhoe, front-end loader, beach sweeper, herbicide application equipment; and a variety of mowers and tractors with attachments such as flail, brush hog, hole auger, seeder, thatcher, and aerator.
Install and maintain structures such as fences, gates, traffic barriers, signs, recreation facilities, play centers, and picnic tables in County parks and green spaces; maintain records of inspections and repairs as required.
Apply knowledge of pesticides and additives in identifying and applying chemicals to weeds, turf, trees and plants to control a variety of plant pests and diseases; maintain records as required by law for pesticide applications.
Maintain facilities such as restrooms and bathhouses by sweeping floors and scrubbing walls, ceilings and sanitary fixtures; filling paper and soap dispensers; changing light bulbs, clearing the facilities of litter and garbage, and removing graffiti.

This position is responsible for the management of the daily operations of Utilization Management (UM) at APLA Health and Wellness (APLAHW). This position will ensure that all processes, programs and operations of utilization management are fully implemented for APLAHW.
The Utilization Manager will be proactive in establishing collaborative working relationships with each member of the Care Delivery team to assure a sound Utilization Management Program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops and Implements a standardized Utilization Management Program to ensure that all functions meet internal, Government, Health Plan/IPA and medical group requirements.
Ensures staff competency utilizing inter-rater reliability tools and evidence-based criteria for utilization review.
Develop, implement and maintain compliance, policies and procedures regarding medical utilization management functions.
Establishes excellent working relationships with all internal/external constituents and staff, including the Chief Medical Officer, clinic directors and site medical directors. Promotes collaborative relationships. Works cooperatively with other managers in the Quality Department, including the quality manager and risk/compliance manager.
Participates in the collection, analysis and reporting of data relevant to utilization management.
Collaborates with the Quality Director to identify opportunities for process improvements in Utilization management that are consistent with the organization’s vision and strategic long term goals.
Develop, implement, and maintain utilization management programs to facilitate the use of appropriate medical resources and decrease the business unit's financial exposure.

Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) seeks a Reuse Specialist to join its Auxiliary Services group. This is an inaugural position aimed to inspire creativity, conservation, and community engagement through thoughtful reuse programs and activism.
The Reuse Specialist will recommend process improvements to divert items from landfill, while reducing the need for new purchases for the campus and students. They will actively foster a team setting, with keen attention to the diverse needs of student body, pedagogical practice and the greater providence arts community, as well as oversee student staff. While actively participating in short-, mid- and long-range planning to assure that emerging trends are reflected in services provided, they will communicate with students, faculty, and staff regarding services and acquire feedback to gauge successes and challenges. Essential Functions/Duties:
Responsible for the day to day administrative work associated with operating the 2nd Life Exchange including creating and disseminating both online and print promotions and communications, staffing students and volunteers, and providing input to the development of existing organization policies and procedures, inventory management, financial tracking, and communication. Regularly coordinates with the stores on inventory management and public sales.
Leads the Campus furniture and equipment reuse program. Maintains website content used to inform and engage the campus community on reuse programs. Monitors and responds to inquiries regarding reuse of campus items. Approves reuse requests. Collaborates with Facilities and Warehouse teams on the storing and distribution of available items in inventory. Is the primary contact for third party vendors associated with surplus, in support of creative reuse.
Proactively engage with and serve as a resource to faculty and staff to integrate reuse and reduce education and practices into studio environment, as appropriate. Promote RISD’s reuse programs, goals, challenges, and accomplishments to a wide range of constituencies through personal contact, the website, discussions with students, faculty, and staff, and others. Ensures that Re-use enterprises are responsive to customers’ wants and needs. Communicates with the team and community on a regular basis to ensure readiness to meet the needs of the RISD community. As a Voter Education & Outreach Bilingual Election Worker, your primary duties will include:
Voter Education & Bilingual Outreach:
The Voter Education and Outreach program provides education and outreach to current and future voters in Multnomah County towards: voter registration, voter assistance resources, and voting a ballot by mail . We deliver and assess the needs of voters through our culturally specific outreach efforts. Our efforts are directed by a racial equity lens and use a trauma-informed framework to guide how we do our work.
This recruitment is in support of this year's Voter Engagement Project to be conducted from May through October. You will be:
Engaging with eligible voters to conduct a voter engagement survey at community events on behalf of the Elections Division.
Expand partnerships with community partners who serve our targeted communities
Interact with community members using a trauma-informed approach
Bilingual Customer Service:
You will assist in helping customers from diverse communities at the front counter and answering phones. Some customer service experience is helpful. Length of employment may be 1 to 3 weeks depending on work volume. Election Day work schedule may extend to approximately 9:00 pm. Physical requirements include good manual dexterity, the ability to perform repetitive motions, the ability to sit for long periods, and good near vision.
3. Runner position:
Bi-partisan teams of employees will deliver ballots to the Elections Office from 30 official ballot drop sites located throughout the county. Requires some lifting and a valid driver's license. Multnomah County will provide the vehicles. Approximate length of employment is 3-4 days, including one Saturday. Election Day work schedule may extend to 10:00 pm. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and carry moderate weight (15-30 pounds), the ability to pull, push, reach, bend, kneel, and crouch, good manual dexterity, good hearing, the ability to operate motorized equipment, the ability to stand or sit for long periods, and the ability to perform repetitive motions.
4. Ballot Counting position:
You will operate ballot tally equipment and/or various ballot processing functions. Approximate length of employment is 1-5 days. May involve working a night shift and weekends. 5. Sorter Assistant position:
You will assist in the Elections Office with running the high speed sorter, moving trays of ballots between sorter and storage carts, alphabetizing challenged ballots by last name, facing ballots as they come into the bay area, and other duties as assigned. Approximate length of employment is 5-7 days. Election Day schedules can involve late hours generally past midnight. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and carry moderate weight (15-45 pounds), good manual dexterity, good hearing, the ability to stand and walk for long periods, and the ability to perform repetitive motions.
6. Voter Assistance Team (VAT) position:
You will provide assistance to voters at the Elections Office or in the voter's residence. Approximate length of employment is 2-3 weeks and will begin as early as three weeks prior to Election Day. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and carry moderate weight (15-45 pounds), the ability to stand and sit when performing work duties, the ability to operate motorized equipment, good manual dexterity, good hearing, and the ability to speak effectively.
7. Observer Monitoring position:
You will monitor observers of the election process. Length of employment may be 1 to 2 weeks depending on observation requests, and may require overtime. 8. Ballot Adjudication position:

Multnomah County Elections Division conducts all local, city, county, state, and federal elections for Multnomah County. As a Voter Education & Outreach Bilingual Election Worker, your primary duties will include:
Voter Education & Bilingual Outreach:
The Voter Education and Outreach program provides education and outreach to current and future voters in Multnomah County towards: voter registration, voter assistance resources, and voting a ballot by mail . We deliver and assess the needs of voters through our culturally specific outreach efforts. Our efforts are directed by a racial equity lens and use a trauma-informed framework to guide how we do our work.
This recruitment is in support of this year's Voter Engagement Project to be conducted from May through October. You will be:
Engaging with eligible voters to conduct a voter engagement survey at community events on behalf of the Elections Division.
Expand partnerships with community partners who serve our targeted communities
Interact with community members using a trauma-informed approach
Bilingual Customer Service:
You will assist in helping customers from diverse communities at the front counter and answering phones. Some customer service experience is helpful. Length of employment may be 1 to 3 weeks depending on work volume. Election Day work schedule may extend to approximately 9:00 pm. Physical requirements include the ability to stand or sit for long periods, the ability to speak effectively, good hearing, and good near and mid-range vision.
As the outreach project and events end, you may be assigned some of the following duties:
1. Election Board position:
You will open and prepare ballots to be counted. The work is not physically demanding, but is fast-paced, repetitive, and requires attention to detail. Approximate length of employment is 4-5 days. Election Day work schedule involves late hours generally past midnight. Physical requirements include good manual dexterity, the ability to perform repetitive motions, the ability to sit for long periods, good hearing, and the ability to visually inspect ballots at close range.
2. Data Entry position:
You will assist with data entry of Voter Registration Cards and verify signatures on ballots and petitions. This position requires computer experience and data entry skills. Length of employment may be 2 to 7 weeks depending on work volume and may require overtime. Election Day work schedule involves late hours generally past midnight. Physical requirements include good manual dexterity, the ability to perform repetitive motions, the ability to sit for long periods, and good near vision.
3. Runner position:
Bi-partisan teams of employees will deliver ballots to the Elections Office from 30 official ballot drop sites located throughout the county. Requires some lifting and a valid driver's license. Multnomah County will provide the vehicles. Approximate length of employment is 3-4 days, including one Saturday. Election Day work schedule may extend to 10:00 pm. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and carry moderate weight (15-30 pounds), the ability to pull, push, reach, bend, kneel, and crouch, good manual dexterity, good hearing, the ability to operate motorized equipment, the ability to stand or sit for long periods, and the ability to perform repetitive motions.
4. Ballot Counting position:
You will operate ballot tally equipment and/or various ballot processing functions. Approximate length of employment is 1-5 days. May involve working a night shift and weekends. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and carry moderate weight (15-30 pounds), good manual dexterity, the ability to stand for long periods, and the ability to perform repetitive motions.
5. Sorter Assistant position:
You will assist in the Elections Office with running the high speed sorter, moving trays of ballots between sorter and storage carts, alphabetizing challenged ballots by last name, facing ballots as they come into the bay area, and other duties as assigned. Approximate length of employment is 5-7 days. Election Day schedules can involve late hours generally past midnight. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and carry moderate weight (15-45 pounds), good manual dexterity, good hearing, the ability to stand and walk for long periods, and the ability to perform repetitive motions.
6. Voter Assistance Team (VAT) position:
You will provide assistance to voters at the Elections Office or in the voter's residence. Generally, these voters are elderly, have some type of disability, or have difficulty with the English language. Approximate length of employment is 2-3 weeks and will begin as early as three weeks prior to Election Day. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and carry moderate weight (15-45 pounds), the ability to stand and sit when performing work duties, the ability to operate motorized equipment, good manual dexterity, good hearing, and the ability to speak effectively.
7. Observer Monitoring position:
You will monitor observers of the election process. Length of employment may be 1 to 2 weeks depending on observation requests, and may require overtime. Election Day work schedules may involve late hours past midnight. Physical requirements include the ability to stand or sit for long periods, the ability to speak effectively, and good near and mid-range vision.
8. Ballot Adjudication position:
As part of a team with another employee, you will review ballot images on a computer screen and make decisions on how to count votes that are not clearly marked. Length of employment may be 1-3 weeks. Required skills include the ability to work well in a two-person team, consistently follow rules, efficiently use a mouse and keyboard to navigate and enter information into a computer, remain focused while performing a repetitive task, and pay attention to detail. Also, you must be able to sit for a long period while performing this job.

Job Description:
Responsible for performing responsible protective service work in fire suppression and in providing emergency medical care to save life and property. An employee in this class is responsible for performing all functions and services of firefighting and emergency medical rescue. Work involves extinguishing fires at fire scenes, safeguarding lives, salvaging property, preventing the recurrence of fires, and protecting properties from the elements, vandalism, and theft. PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Work in this classification is defined as light work requiring the physical exertion of and/or in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. WORK ENVIRONMENT
